Edward had been rather unsure of where life would take him - but he never expected to be invited to such a prestigious project. He had been originally planning on being a doctor - a medical technician. But because of certain events, it led to him dropping out and then working. And now he was here - a producer. He felt a little bad for the other producers who went through professional school for it and didn't make it to Daywing District. It feels like he's cheating, but he had to take every chance he got. It was all for Lily, even though she already offered to drop out of high school to help him out. Edward couldn't have that. She needed to get a stable job too, and that meant she had to finish college. Edward just go off lucky with being a producer.

Nevertheless, he was excited to be here. They were new opportunities after all. If he could continue being successful here, who knows where he'd be after this. Though he might have been a little more excited than he thought, since he had arrived a day earlier than he was supposed to. Given his trip here was a little far and he managed to get the cheapest ticket, with the consequence of him arriving early. He took it without a second thought. Lily had been rather sad since it would mean that her brother would have to stay away for a while, since they had a dorm and everything. He had to reassure her that he'd call every now and then.

Since he had been there for quite a while now, he had taken to exploring the area. It was rather large and it would take quite a while to completely memorize, but he at least knew where his room was and where the auditorium was. There were other places he had explored like a small garden somewhere, he presumed it was a place to relax or maybe even compose some music. He was sure that he would frequent that general area when he needs some stress relievers.

The next days rolled in and it was going to officially start. They were all summoned to the auditorium and he quickly made his way to it. Kuroba Tadashi spoke about the events that would transpire and welcomed them. It was rather short, but it had all the information he needed. Edward would have to find someone later to see if he could hear more details about it, but he guessed he should look around. There were new arrivals on that day so maybe he could talk with some of them.

He moved out of the auditorium with the others and then walked around - finding himself near the courtyard. A small blonde haired girl was dancing and singing at the same time with no other care to the world around her. He always liked seeing people having fun without worrying about the repercussions of their impressions on other people.

With a smile on his face, he walked closer to the girl. He waved, "Hello there. Having fun?" He asked innocently as he ran a hand through his hair. "At least you're not a bit nervous about being here. You know, with the pressure of living up to the standards and all." He caught himself before continuing with speaking. He was blabbering by now. Maybe he was more nervous than he thought?

I can imagine Tigerfall just wondering why she's still travelling to Moonfall even with her expecting kits, and then softly chide her about it. Maybe even tease her about her going into labor while they're at Moonfall and they'd have to help out with carrying the kits back to her clan.

He's an awkward person, but he's not above teasing his friends.

Hm, yeah, I suppose. I just imagined that there are some other cats who can see visions without them being medicine cats.

Well, both of his parents went rogue at one point of their lives. One was from Lightclan and the other from Boulderclan. They settled in small areas which wasn't touched by the clans.

Technically he doesn't belong in a clan, more just roaming around.

I planned on him predicting a drought before and no one listened. It came and then he earned some trust from some cats in the clans, especially the medicine cats. He's deemed truly neutral and has been able to cross borders without a problem, given that they laid attention anyway.

Personality:

Tigerfall had always been revered for his never-ending patience with them. He keeps a calm and cool exterior to everyone - especially his patients. He has been known to have a cold front whenever interacting with others as he seems detached to relationships and the likes, but he does have the ability to act kind. He has been known to be able to calm anyone down using only his words - all chosen carefully as to avoid the rising tensions. He always feels rather worried for every other cat, but tends to keep that to himself as he doesn't like showing that he actually feels that way in fear that people would not take him seriously as a result. Being "too soft" has its consequences, and he knew that even if he were patient, he would have to put a paw down to stop anyone from doing anything stupid.

As a Medicine Cat, he is both responsible and observant. He diligently restocks the supplies every time he feels that a certain herb is depleted (even though it is far from it) and he keeps emergency packs which he wraps in Beech Leaves that could be found around the borders. Of course, he also restocks these just in case one of the herbs goes bad. Since he has the job to make sure that every cat is healthy, he's a rather keen observer and he can pick up cues if someone else feels wrong - whether it be emotionally or physically. He's learned to read body languages and sudden changes in tone. It's hard to keep a secret from Tigerfall, especially if it would be detrimental to your health.

Outside of doing his job, however, Tigerfall is rather awkward though he would never admit it. He generally keeps anything he feels to himself since he doubts that anyone would want to hear the wailing of a cat who has no problems in the world - or so they think. He also has minor trust issues, even to his own clanmates but he tends to keep that at the back of his mind. These are most of the reasons why he keeps to himself, but isn't above going out to speak with one of the warriors or even the leader should he feel like it.

Brief History:

Tigerfall had been born to Willowtail and Spotmoss with Willowtail being a direct descendant of one of the Ashclan cats who have died out before their time. It was a well known story how Ashclan cats sought refuge in Cliffclan - a clan who accepted every cat who needs help. One of them was Rainfur - a strong warrior with a heart of gold. He had been the ancestor of Tigerfall, and someone who often recurs in his visions. After giving birth to him, Lilykit and Dawnkit, Willowtail suffered complications and then died leaving Spotmoss to take care of their kits. He had grieved for the loss of his mate but knew he had to soldier on just like any other warrior.

He had done a great job, to be honest, for the first very few moons of their lives. By the time they were two moons old, Spotmoss had tragically died after badgers from the other territories decided to cross the border and they had to fight back. This left the three kits without parents. Yellowbranch, another Queen at that time, decided to take them in and teach them what she could, along with her own kit Coalkit. Tigerkit showed strong signs of being connected to what they had called 'Starclan', an idea that came from the now gone Ashclan. It was believed it was because he was a direct descendants of one of the more iconic warriors of the old clan and he had a connection to him which allowed them to share a special bond.

Tigerfall was taken in as an apprentice to the medicine cat, Applefur, and he didn't really mind. Meanwhile, Lilykit became Lilypaw; Dawnkit became Dawnpaw; and Coalkit became Coalpaw - all under the warrior name. Tigerfall never really envied his siblings since he was more than happy to arrange all the medicine in the crevices and learn all about them. He had been quick about learning, and even quicker in applying, so much so that Applefur was impressed with his skills. He was soon named the official Medicine Cat and the others had gotten their warrior names.

Tragedy struck his family when certain news came to them. It first started with Yellowbranch dying. The four siblings grieved for the death of the one who brought them up. She had died after a certain walk near Lightclan. Dawnstrike, furious, went on to march towards the border and Lilybranch and Coalrunner had charged after him. Tigerfall wasn't sure of the details, but it went something like this - they didn't encounter a patrol from Lightclan, but rather they encountered dogs. The three fought to the best of their abilities but it left Lilybranch dead and Coalrunner severely injured. Dawnstrike carried Coalrunner back and Tigerfall and his mentor quickly attended to her wounds. The previous leader of Cliffclan got angry with Dawnstrike who, in turn, got angry back. Dawnstrike left not two days later and went rogue. Not soon after, Applefur had died - leaving only Tigerfall and Coalrunner as the remains of the family.

Ever since then, he had been more closed off than usual. He seems to still be a little suspicious of Lightclan and still worried for his brother, but he says nothing to anyone. Not even his adoptive sister - his only family left. He had taken in an apprentice, Softwillow, when he saw how enthusiastic she was about being a medicine cat - even though she begged for the position. He had recently discovered that she, also, has a strong connection with Starclan - a trait he shared with her. This made it much easier for him since he has someone to share his visions with. Having been present at Frogshade's birth of two kittens - Softwillow and an unnamed kitten - he knew of circumstances otherwise supposed to have been kept a secret. He views this to be a rather odd instance, but dismissed it as nothing provided that Frogshade was still loyal to the clan - which she was.

Personality:

Despite his position, Stormflash comes across as a rather easygoing person. When he's issuing orders, there's rarely a hint of urgency - but he does know when to put his paw down when others wouldn't listen. He may be a little more lenient than most, but he becomes quite stern when someone crosses the line between what is allowed and what is not. Stormflash likes to have fun with others and would often be seen talking with another cat unless he has something more important to do - like tending to the clan itself. He's rather fun loving and loves to tease others. He keeps his ears open for anything he might use as dirt on the other cats - but this is usually made in good fun.

When bored or just in the wrong mood, Stormflash becomes sarcastic and makes snide comments every now and then. Most come to understand not to take him too seriously, or get their feelings hurt by what he utters. Or just to avoid him entirely when he's in this mood. Only a few cats can stand a full interaction with him alone when he's in this mood, and he doesn't seem to mind. What is good about Stormflash is that he doesn't really care about what other cats think of him. He's going to do his job but do it his own way - and it's either they accept it or not, simple. However, he does care a lot about his clan, and fully accepts how they take in other cats as well.

Brief History:

Stormflash doesn't have a Tragic Story^TM since his life had been relatively normal. Darkshade gave birth to Stormkit and Mintkit, and the two were inseparable for the first few moons, and still very much close after that. They did almost everything together and were both happy when they were picked out as apprentices. Stormpaw's talents shone here. He had been quite a natural in everything he did - from stalking to balancing to hunting. He was just fast. Mintpaw showed her own skills when it came to tracking and hiding. However, something was different about Stormflash - he was fast and agile, more than other cats, but he was also physically weaker - having been beaten by his sister and other apprentices time and time again. He learned that he needed to keep his distance and strike when there's an opening.

Stormpaw and Mintpaw both got their warrior titles at the same time. They were happy for each other, and went on with their Warrior duties. The reason he became a deputy was because of how well he had been playing his cards. Making sure to show his skills whenever in front of the leader or the previous deputy, and also making sure to help the other cats as well so they could support him in becoming a deputy. He was never sure exactly why he wanted to become one, he just did, so he made it his goal to become one. Mintflower supported him every step of the way.

His trial came when he, his father and the previous deputy had been attacked by two rogue cats. Stormflash had been able to do rather well and fend off the cats. Though they were better than expected. Briardawn tragically died from his wounds shortly after returning to the camp, but Stormflash fought with ferocity and the will to protect those around him. This had caught the attention of the deputy. Once the deputy ascended to the leader position, he as picked out. Stormflash had exceeded expectations when it came to his leadership. While most were hesitant because of his easygoing but slightly ambitious nature, they were quickly dashed when he did everything for the good of the clan.

Hey boss, I was thinking of making this sort of elder rogue. Like, no cat knows what clan he came from and he would never say. (It isn't Dawnstrike). Anyway, he just goes around to help whenever he can. Or maybe he could have some sort of reputation as a sort of 'Prophet' since he has visions every now and then that he shares with the clans, though some might say he's just a crazy old coot. He's no medicine cat, but he did learn how to survive by himself and everything.
