I started ATLA late, around Covid. But I love the first series and think TLoK is pretty good despite some problems

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

*raises hand* Here!
I fucking love that headline tbh.

To me it feels like, it's just...making things more discriminatory by going 'ugh, black men. Why you so lucky???" Though yeah, there is a true point which is in most societies, males are less discriminated against than females.

Glad to have all of you!

As some may know I'm busy as hell this week, but early next week I should have the OOC up. Also, if the crew gets too big I'll need to take away the 'first come, first serve' aspect, but I think y'all can handle that, eh?
"Glad I protected my head this time." Neil said to himself after the rough tumble he and Drake made down a mercifully small staircase. Oddly enough, the metal of the stairs were extremely malleable, as if it made itself softer so as not to harm whatever or whoever had been thrown down it. Neil blinked, but he couldn't see anything. He really hoped that it was an actual lack of light and not the fact that he might have hit his head despite feeling no pain, and lost his vision.

"Is it dark in here or is it just me?" Neil asked.

"Where'd you get your degree, genius?" Drake said back. It was meant to be cutting, but Neil was just glad it was dark for the others too. "I didn't have a rich daddy." Neil replied, trying to find his weapon. His hand patted the cold ground, unable to reach where he thought he heard his ARC rifle fall. That is, until he found a small bit of metal that he couldn't lift his hand off of. He blinked, and tried again. But the hand was stuck to it. Not just the skin, but he felt like the muscle of his right hand was stuck tight as well.

He was about to voice it when a searing pain ripped through his skin, hotter than any cooking stove or oven. The burning sensation and pain overwhelmed his senses, and he nearly fainted from the experience, gasping until the feeling suddenly vanished without a trace. The hallways lights bloomed above them, glowing as if every corner of the hall's surface area was a small source of light. Neil could see Sayeeda at the top of the small stairway and Drake beside him on his hands and knees.

The small oval shape his hand had rested on looked calm, and Neil took his hand off of it now. Only...his palm had a strange symbol on it. It looked like a gas planet's ring, set in an oval shape, with a curious starship image flying through it, all within a 7 sided shape.

"I think I got a tattoo..." Neil said aloud. Drake was, of course, confused at both the lights suddenly turning on, as well as Neil's statement. "What in the hell are you tal-" he began, until his eyes widened and he took hold of Neil's hand, examining it and reading the image as if he was reading a sacred scroll. Neil raised an eyebrow. "It's not that cool."

Drake shook his head, trying to form words. "This is one of the symbols I've read of. It has two separate meanings. Traveler and Chaos. One of the symbols they made to honor one of their Gods."

Before them, the metal of the hallway was smooth and light grew, with white lines framing every 5 feet that glowed brighter than the more grey metal. The hallway was not far, and it ended in an archway that led into a circular corridor, both left and right curving inwards to suggest it led to the same place.

"And what God was that?" Neil asked. Drakes next words were not promising. "Kharolek. The one that sets fire to the Galaxy."

Well met, sea raiders! Be ye pirate, privateer, buccaneer, or corsair, this RP is probably for you. Set in a dark, high fantasy world of my own making, Buccaneers and Blades is an RP that follows the adventures of a group of Cutthroats trying to make a living on the high seas. Monsters of the Deep, scheming nobles, Pirate Hunters, your fellow crew members, or even the weather will be a constant danger! Remember, this is High Casual. Meaning I want each post to be 3 paragraphs at least, with good grammar and spelling.

Now, the main goal of this RP is to be both simple, yet well thought out and fun. You'll start out as a crew member on a new ship that has just recruited you at a Faire, and you'll have four main Oceans to explore. The Sea of Swords (think the mediterranean sea) between the North and the Southern Jungle continent, The Sea of Stars (between the Mainland and the Isle of the Elves and the western, unexplored continents), the Cutlass Coast (the extreme southern sea where few dare sail other than those escaping northern crimes), and the Corsair Strait (Above the desert region of the Arad Luin).

I want characters who are not shy of violence, perhaps even backstabbing, making alliances, using their wiles or sword arms, and any means necessary to advance themselves and the crew, or even advance themselves within the crew. It'll be 18 plus, but only for the violence and language. I'm not against steamy scenes, seduction characters, or implied acts, but no actual smut. I've yet to decide if I'll play the Captain or if I'll choose which character is Captain and I'll simply play the Quartermaster.

Who is interested?
Bardeck thanked all the Gods he had a sturdy shield. Even with heavier armor, he wouldn't feel entirely safe against such a large and sharp looking weapon that the swordsman carried. It even seemed to glimmer in the sunlight. It had an enchantment if Bardeck was a betting man. He wasn't however, nor was he one to take chances in many other parts of his life if he could help it, and the muscled northmath kept his shield up and only struck when he was sure he wouldn't be hit in retaliation.

A yelp and grunt from the side drew the attention of Bardeck and the two handed sword wielder for a moment, both somewhat curiously watching the demonic mage-fighter doing his best to scitter away after smacking into the mace wielder's chest. It was Bardeck that recovered and attacked first however, probably because the swordsman was both worried that he was now alone in the fight, and surprised to see the demonic ally that had appeared out of nowhere.

The Axe blade cut deeply into the swordsman's bicep, causing him to suck in his breath in pain and do his best to get his guard up. But his defenses, while still strong, were noticeably slowing as they continued. At the last moment, he threw his sword at Bardeck and sprinted off, clutching his bleeding arm as he stumbled and sprinted for his life. Bardeck blocked the throw sword, but didn't pursue. Instead, he went to question the man on the ground with the broken rib.

"Are you working for anyone?" Bardeck asked, kicking him in the chest. "Are you with an outfit? Or are you simply a bandit."
This week is busy for me, but I'll try to do the relationships as soon as I can!
Not decided yet, but considering a Dwarf.
I'm fairly certain we can all be in agreement that the article makes everyone at least a little uncomfortable, and only in the most dire of circumstances would it ever be plausible.

I think if a child is born without any terrifying deficiencies then adoption should always be taken rather than euthanization, if the mother cannot afford to take care of it.
Kayden handled the horse expertly, keeping it at bay as the group discussed among themselves. He counted everyone to make sure they were all accounted for as he handled the reins. "Good," he murmured in acknowledgement, before raising an eyebrow at Sigmar's comment. Kayden gave a laugh. "Wren's not a distressed damsel. If she was, she wouldn't be in the group." He told him. Still, he couldn't argue it felt nice her holding him like this, but now wasn't the time for those kinds of thoughts. Even in relative leisure time.

"Wren is right as well. They probably just wanted to take prisoners to..." He didn't let that thought finish. He glanced back at her, and gave a wink. "But we handled them, eh?" His voice was softer, and after a moment he said. "I'll dismount now and help you down. The horse is still a bit spooked, but as long as I have the reins he will not run anywhere, you have my word."

Gingerly, he slipped out of Wren's arms for a moment and stepped down, before offering her his hand as he held the horse's reins in the other, the beast calmed, though fidgety. "I think as long as we keep a good watch and stay away from short bushes, we'll be alright." He told the others. "Someone want to get a fire going for a second?"
