Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@Jarl Coolgruuf He's great!

I just need 2 things.

1) Expand slightly on his travels north and south, from between when he left his home until he was 30.
2) Tell me what armor he has, unless he has no armor which you can do, but it will make you more vulnerable in the RP itself, FYI.
@Kal-El Unfortunately, we have no open spots at this time.

The Dunmer's armor sundered, he fell dead, bleeding profusely onto the wooden floorboards. The Argonian spun, attempting to slash with his axe again to keep the other soldiers at bay but it was stuck fast within the dead enemy's armor, and Dax ducked a swing of a sword that bounced off one of his horns on the crown of his head. He did what he could do, and on instinct that was biting. His teeth sand into the wrist of the Dunmer that had struck his head, piercing skin and flesh, causing the mer to scream and draw his dagger. Daixanos caught the wrist, and let go of the arm to strike at the Dark Elf's neck, bowling him over as he severed the soldier's jugular with his large canines.

As the Dunmer's cries and struggles faded, Dax heard the other two swordsmen behind him had run into the other room, clearly going in to try and attack Kris. Her victory over dispatching Vorn keeping her preoccupied at the moment. The Saxhleel lifted his bloody maw away from the torn throat of his enemy and he cried out to her. "Landstrider! Enemies!" before he himself tore off toward the main entrance door, where the two were still in sight headed in the direction of the balcony. He thanked the Hist that he had strung his bow before they had come, and he slid the weapon off his back and took an arrow in his hand, sliding it down the string and loosing it in one fluid motion.

The arrow flew between the two, but if his cries of warning hadn't reached her ears, the arrow flying out from inside onto the blacony surely did as the arrowhead struck the railing, causing sparks from the steel's collision. Dax took another arrow from his quiver and aimed, firing not a moment later and managing to hit the lagging Dunmer in a groove of his cruel armor, causing him to stumble and gasp. The other charged forward tho and engaged Kris in combat without warning, hacking at her savagely.

Dax's eyes fell on the dead guard he had first dispatched, and he put his bow up, placing a powerful foot on the breastplate as he yanked the axehead out of its side to regain his battle axe. He was going to assess the situation further, but shouts below and footsteps echoing on the stairs told him all he needed to about the situation. He suddenly dropped his axe and picked up one of the corpses, using his corded muscles to lift it over his head.

As the first guard to respond rose to the last step, he was hit in the chest by a flying cadaver, knocking him and his fellows back down the stairs in a heap. It would at least buy them some time, the Argonian wasting none and sprinting towards Kris to aid her. As he approached the balcony, he saw the floundering guard he had shot. The hunter ended his life with a chop of the axe, the head rolling from of his neck.
Blaster bolts struck the sand around them, causing large 'splashes' of the grains that fell everywhere. Cleo was thankful Leyla had such great senses, or else they might have been toast, literally. He surged upwards once the last volley of fire had quieted, in his hands a E-10R Blaster Rifle. It was getting up there in years and he needed to replace it, but it would serve at the moment. The robust rifle, barely longer than a carbine, let off a stream of burst fire blaster bolts into the line of pursuers.

One lucky bolt struck a rodian dead in the face, glassing his strange visage and causing his body to loll strangely off the side of the swoop transport. Cleo continued to fire into them as Leyla provided closer range assistance with her blasters. "Friends is a relative term. They work for Jabba the Hutt, my clients biggest rival!" The Iridonian cried out to her, sending another stream to supress them and keep the swoops back before he reloaded.

As he did so, the Bith driving needed to suddenly slow to avoid a vast stone that had appeared from behind a dune, causing the swoops to come perilously close. One speeder bumped into the line of cargo they had, aliens and humans laughing as if their prey was already theirs. They veered around the weapon crates and sped closer. Cleo desperately tried to finish reloading while Leyla held off the other side of the speeder.

In a moment of clarity, Cleo recalled he had something and dropped the weapon. The speeder took it as an invitation for a quick kill and began to aim at him, only for their eyes to go skyward as a metal sphere, tossed from Cleo's hands fell inside of the swoop.

"Thermal! Thermal!" A human cried, and suddenly a large sphere of energy exploded outwards, capturing all of the swoop within its diameter and vaporizing every atom within before disappearing as if it had never been. It didn't even rock their cargo speeder, and Cleo picked up his E-10R and finished his reload, taking careful aim, cool under the following barrage of fire as he cut down another swoop by taking out its pilot, spinning the vehicle out of control to burst into flames among the sand.

"We're almost there! Go faster!" Cleo called. The Bith gave an acknowledging grunt.
I want to give credit to @Raditz for being a great DM for my D&D games running on 4 years now, and @Geekfactor for just being a sweetbean.
@Blueskin Luckily JB is on the Isle so hopefully he posts by Sunday his time?

Which has less than 40 minutes
<Snipped quote by Jb>

Those who fall behind are left behind! Follow the code.

Mfw we gotta wait until Sunday

We don't necessarily need to follow a strict linear story. We can have a few people join now, and since I'm certain JB isn't going to have them leave immediately, maybe the others have a change of heart by morning?
Just received Frederick the Great's Memoirs of War in the mail. I love it already

Update: I could barely keep my eyes open when I started reading last night and I still read through 30 odd pages. Very good read so far. So far I recommend it to anyone who is interested in 18th century pre-industrial warfare.
