Marinalia looked up slightly, the man towered over her and was built even bigger perhaps than her Godather, and last she saw him looked like he ate weights for breakfast, Ivan had been her father's first officer for years rising through the ranks together till he was a Senior Captain with global Licenses for sailing on anywhere but areas like the Panama Canal. When his Daughters where Born he ended up marlins unofficial, and Victoria's legal godfather. 

THe names did not mean much to her but from the badge and name she guessed he was connected to something a tad more dangerous than the rich idiots and there hired goons, Polite and carefully balanced reaction was definitely called for. The mn was huge, dark skinned and was that a smell of Oranges? 

With a measured English accent and calm tone, hiding the nerves underneath within reason, not perfect but it did not do to show weakness, her mother and Grandfather had orred her to death when younger trying to teach her the basics of being diplomatic, years later it paid off. it seemed like revealing why was needed much as it hurt. Turning away and heading back to the Stall, She immediately ordered anything with chocolate in, being a triple choclatte cookie and cream creation. Nothing the young woman, she looked abit nervous, with all going on, everyone maybe was... if they even noticed? sighing slightly, and nibbling on it to cheer her up.

Vesarian kept one eye on his long blonde haired Daughter, seeing her walk away and get some food, the man and recent events, he decided he would keep a careful eye on them tonight if he could. He might of been absent 6 months of the year but his parental rage at what happened to Marlin was simmering away behind the eyes cold as the Artic. 

Victoria Looked over as her father left to get a drink and leave them be, much as he was protective he also knew when to give them space and let them make there own mistakes or successes. at a certain point you had to trust them to make the right choices. He had sailed to some of the worst ports on the planet, had deliver to men little more than medieval warlords, and still was alive and trading. The business was a small one and shipping legal deliveries to less palatable parts of the globe had become a day job. He did not consider the use of what he shipped from pistols to a full Company of 105mm artillery. It was just stock, stock to be delivered on time and intact.

The guy with a card board box suit, it was pretty inventive and well made for the little resources it used, least someone had a sense of humour and was willing to push the envelope. wait, seeing them turn she recognised the person as Joseph.. yeah the one who had helped her outside the jazz night.

Not seeming to mind the comment, his was not meant in offense unlike others and she did blend in a tad too much with the white faux fur, now with a few small flurries of snow on the hoods little polar bear ears. it was cute, yet formal. perfect . Leading Milo on, she spotted him by a food stall near the dance area, Fairy Tale of New York Just started up, several couples getting a tad too busy under the mistletoe to notice.

Smiling, she seemed happy, the night seemed to be going well and the distant rumble in the distance was growing louder but but no one could hear it over the sound of music, Christmas songs and general happy chatter and noise of the busy public Holiday party. 

Vesarian Romus leant back slightly with a beer and watched the event lazily but also actively, seeing the podium and a flash of white fur coat near the edge of a dance area, she was having a good night and did not need him interrupting her date anymore than already had. The Mayor on the podium and civil staff had that obvious trying to hide a panic look. They gave a good try but the old Senior Captain was too experienced to be as easily fooled. Checking his phone casually and seeing a posetive message that the shipment was at its destination and fully intact. One more bonus won, Ivan could handle the short run later on to Canada while he was flying out to Moscow to meet some representative from Kalashnikov Group regarding a tricky shipment later in the new year in the Cape Horn Region. 

Some of the worst seas on earth, it would certainly be a new and interesting challenge. Turning his thoughts back the event, shrugged and still instinctively went to check his waist and tighten up his coat. With his desk still busy from the Jazz night, ATF, Marshalls and more in his city, not to count Transport Authorities pissed off. He did not need another Disaster. It would only encourage the Federal government to send more of its minions to his city. 

Tensions were already high in the government, he did not need any more. His doctor would not like to read his blood pressure recently and probably tried to have had him sent to the medical centre on Monday morningg.
