But it is different?

Different in that it's less powerful/varied. OG 007 was the "world's best actor" while she was trying to get noticed. He was an agent for MI6 while she never had any formal combat/espionage training. His shapeshifting operating on the molecular level, essentially letting him turn any part of his body into anything while hers changes physical appearance and provides props.

It's the same but less powerful than the canon 007. I'm not saying you can't do it, it just feels... Underutilized.
The Cereal Killer

Runch stood in silence as he waited for a reply that never came. Not even static to signify that the phylactery hadn't made a connection. It didn't matter though. The drone was there, constantly watching. Constantly recording them. The message would be relayed all the same, even if the medium was different. Apart from that, Runch was certain that the girl's brother already knew. He had to. The pirate didn't have a solid reasoning behind why he believed this to be true, but all the same he felt it was as absolute as gravity.

"Time to shove off, Erina," Runch calmly ordered. He was still seething from the ordeal, so much so that he forgot to call her "Miss" Erina. The captain turned his back on Motley Crue and began his journey toward his next opponent, guided by the drone in the air. He wondered what kind of person his next foe would be. Were they also attacked by rogue College agents? Would they believe Runch if he told them? Honorable? Evil? Reasonable? Deranged? It wouldn't matter. At the end of the day, he would still be leaving this city with his ship.

"It wasn't necessary, but she's not gone, you know," Erina added, catching up and walking by Runch's side. "Death isn't the end."

Runch shook his head. 'Maybe not. Your abilities will give philosophers a bigger headache then they've ever experienced, I imagine. But it's not just about the killing itself. It's... Not something I suppose I can explain to someone like you."

"Because I commune with the dead?" she asked, attempting to clarify.

"Because you're immortal." He let that statement hang in the air for a few moments while Erina pondered it. When she opened her mouth to ask for details, he cut her off. "I don't much feel like talking right now. Sorry lass."

The Murder

@Lugubrious

Samuel had decided to stop following the summoner as he crossed the bridge, for he encountered a vastly more interesting sight. Living, moving graffiti? That was a new one, even for him. He followed the creature back into the dilapidated streets of the city, the creature giving no indication it knew he was there, but all the same it felt as though the thing were leading him with a purpose. Very curious. Even the shadowy creatures that had attacked the summoner prior avoided the two of them. Was this out of some sense of respect? Or perhaps it was... Fear? Sweet sweet delicious fear, he was soooo hungry now. Someone needed to pay, someone needed to be punished and feel the terror of the hunt! Swarmed, buried under guilt, torn to shreds, murder murder murder murder SHUTUP!

Samuel took a second to recompose himself, to reel in his Horror. Sometimes it felt like he and his soul were two completely separate entities, with his rational thoughts and its primal instinct at odds. He forced it to be quiet as he took in his surroundings: some sort of market district. The graffiti beast had taken residence on a wall nearby and hadn't moved since he arrived. Apart from it there was only one other thing to note: the filthy looking shopkeep. Tipping his hat down over he eyes, Sam approached cautiously. This whole thing was quite strange. Monsters lurked in the alleys and just off the street, no living people in sight, and here was this strange man as though he were out at prime time shopping hour? He took in the man's form to determine if this merchant were some sort of supernatural creature himself, before gazing down on the wares of the merchant. Pity his senses couldn't identify magical items as they could living things.

"Why are you out here?" he asked after a short pause, eyeing the statuette of a bird. It reminded him of himself, and that made him want to smash it. "You have no customers, and it's dangerous to walk these streets with the creatures lurking nearby. One is nearby as we speak." He gestured in the direction of the graffiti thing using only his eyes.
@Menhir A shapeshifting actor? You didn't want to do something different from the canon 007?

The situation was growing increasingly dire by the second. Even though Tulpa's projection was capable of taking out the copies en masse, Messiah could slaughter with impunity, and everyone else wasn't too shabby either, the number of copies being made still grew faster than they could kill them. By the 30 second mark the Wards received the final piece of evidence they needed to confirm once and for all that this Overrun was in fact their friend and comrade, Dean. The earliest surviving clones began to melt away into a horrifying puddle of flesh-goop. There could no longer be any doubt. Overrun was Martyr.

A number of the Deans found themselves crushed beneath the car cleverly used by Margrave. Not to be outdone Thunderbolt tossed a train engine, killing the greatest number of the copies in a single strike thus far, yet it still wasn't enough. The train engine completely stopped its motion as soon as it came into contact with the outstretched palm of a clone. All motion, all momentum, ceased in an instant with no natural deceleration. "Alright, a brute! Let's see who's stronger, shall we?" He shoved the train engine right back toward Thunderbolt, moving about 60 mph. Something was off about it. The air around the train engine rippled, like it wasn't just the engine he affected, but the entire space that the engine occupied.

A great many copies died to Heartless's knife skills, naively attempting to punch the shadow man and getting naught but sliced arteries for their troubles. That is until another one stepped up to the plate, a good ten feet away still. The female clone that had pulled Heartless, and everyone else, back into range. "Pathetic child!" she spat at Lillian, turning back to face Heartless. "You waste your time with compassion. Should've just kept running, and maybe I'd have forgotten about you." As before she performed a tugging motion, like pulling an invisible rope, and yanked Heartless despite his incorporeal form. What's more this time it went a step further. Somehow she pulled him out of his shadow form. Still about five feet from her, Heartless was now very much an easy target for the stampede of duplicates.

Another copy stood nearby observing the massive damaging Tulpa's projection was causing. He looked and observed, as though analyzing the monstrous behemoth before striking. Pointing a single finger at the creature, he fired out some sort of beam which struck its form. The creature did not experience any harm, but for Tulpa observing through her psychic connection the effect was very clear. The projection's personal timeline had been accelerated. It couldn't move any faster, but it was experiencing time at a greatly accelerated rate, which was only getting faster and faster. Twice as fast, three times, six, ten, twenty, yes about twenty times faster than normal was where it had maxed out. What was only a handful of seconds in reality had become several minutes for the creature. Then the copy of Dean that blasted the tulpa melted into goo, and the effect ceased, the projection was back to normal... 7 minutes into its relative future.

<"Epsilon you need to listen to me!"> Ira's communicator beeped on in a private link with Decoy, speaking Japanese. Nobody else could hear this line. <"I know what you must have seen with your goggles. It's terrible I know, and I will explain everything to you, but it is important you do not tell the others! They need to believe the copies are not real, or they may hesitate! Do you understand Epsilon? Please, for everyone's safety, they have to believe they aren't killing anybody!">

Then a massive gunshot rang out. Dean, the Wards' friend and colleague, was no more. His torso exploded into a mist of blood and bone fragment. A life ended by the massive gun of Headhunter. "You FUCKING ASSHOLE!" echoed Troll's response, a reflexive rage. However that wasn't the end of things. No, far from it. For anybody expecting the swarming clones to end, they would be sorely disappointed. Not even the Wards were ever made aware of the specifics of Dean's power, but as the "original" had died, the power transferred to the first one created still alive. The one that most closely resembled the Dean that started it all. So more clones kept coming, more waves of enemies, each one growing more unique and bizarre from the last and more and more beginning to display their own superpowers. Sure the oldest ones were melting into flesh gunk, but that just meant they could be replaced by fresher, more dangerous soldiers. Things were getting bad and fast.

"Trying to leave?" An especially tall clone asked of Chatterbox and Sofia. He snapped his fingers and suddenly there were two Chatterboxes. Two Sofias.

"Wow, I knew I looked good, but damn I didn't realize how good!" the new Chatterbox said. His words weaved into their heads like a small trickling stream beginning to take root. Maybe Sofia wouldn't realize it, but subtle or not Chatterbox would recognize his own power being used on him.

Meanwhile, amidst the ever increasing chaos, a single unique copy of Dean slinked away around the corner. He had existed for more than fifty seconds yet hadn't melted away, and neither was he the new anchorpoint of the power. Something was different about this one, but nobody would find out what just yet. He pressed a button on his belt turning his entire body translucent, and stepped through the wall. Out of sight, out of mind, out of the entire scene.
@Old Amsterdam@floodtalon@yoshua171@Leaves@Demon Shinobi Let's try to get an update in the next day or two please. It's almost time to get ourselves to Reverse Mountain and onto the next great adventure!
@Wolpertingers You want to take 004 too? Jerk. Oh well, not like the actual numbers matter a ton.
Please. Duran Duran all the way.
Marque de Bourdeaux

Marque went around to gather the supplies he'd need. He felt a little bad about using Lorenzo's materials rather than being able to pay for his own, but this was an emergency situation. Desperate times, and all that. What a dreary business he had found himself a part of. Once everything was gathered, he once again addressed his traveling compatriots. "Before the journey begins, I must address one important detail. I am sure it goes without saying for such a fine batch of intelligent men, however it would behoove us all to not address me by my real name and title. Such matters require discretion, naturally, and so should you find need to call out or speak my name, you may go by the humble title I chose for myself in the years since my disappearance. Please refer to me as Marque de Bourdeaux."

With that important detail addressed, and all the supplies he believed he would need, Marque was ready to venture out into the Wood. He could feel the call of adventure looming just behind the limits of sight, and with this group he had so skillfully gathered, that adventure would be met with grit, steel, and determination!

There was a baby in the original series named Ivan Whisky from Russia who had telekinesis. Pretty sure he was considered the most powerful as well...

- Ω

Ivan Whisky, Cyborg 001, capable of advanced telepathy, telekinesis, ESP, and teleportation. Unquestionably the most powerful member of the 9 cyborgs, but the strain of such powers on a baby means that he can only use them once a week, then has to sleep it off for a whole week. Glass cannon. Super powerful, incredibly unreliable. Always the last line of defense in a crisis.
