4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

Orge Cave

Once the advance team walked into the cave, they'd find themselves going down a long corridor. It went on for some time, so much so that Aiden had a guardian created to go back and retrieve the reserve team so they could still remain an effective distance behind him and Taka. Once the two made it deep enough, the corridor opened up to reveal a large cavern. The two mages were up high above what ceemed like a ceremonial gathering of Ogres, Trolls, and other hideous beasts. At the head of this nightmarish mob was an altar made from the bones of several different kinds of animals with the symbol of a tusked face looking down upon those in the stands with rage in it's eyes.

Behind said altar, trappedin a primitive cage was what appeared to be the family from the request, as well as several other people. However, before either mage could react to the scene in anyway, two trolls that had been hiding in the rocks launched an attack on them. They wielded blades similar to what Bris had picked up, except blood red tendrils were coming from the handle into the Ogre's arm.

Aiden would bring up his Naginata with re-quio mqgic to block the surprise qttack, only to be pushed back by a red shockwave that nearly took him off the edge. Struggling to regain balance for a bit, he finally stabilized himself ob solid ground before leaping back into the fray, lashing out at the ogre who was much more skilled and agile than any ogre had a right to be.

It must have something to do with those weird swords, maybe they increase the user's abilities or something. Either way, something's going on and we've got to end it fast.

Deciding to stop playing games, Aiden gathered up magical energy into his Naginata, befire swinging it hard at his foe with a mighty shout.

"Ice Dragon's Rending Claw!"

The concentrated slash of cold magic would instsntly incapacitate the ogre, who had no way of blocking the magic. He turned around to Taka, hoping she'd taken care of her enemy as well as he did.

@DrowsyPangolinI think that lower ranks of ME offer more lucidity for less bonuses. It would be best to check le wiki.
Tatsuya Kajiya-Terumi

"That would be me, Minamoru-san," A voice would be heard from behind as Tatsuya ran up to the gate, stopping amongst those assembled in full combat gear, fiddling with the gauntlet on his arm to make sure everything was in good condition. He'd been testing the Chakra Gauntlet's capabilities for the whole of the week, trying to think of ways it could be improved upon, and if that failed him, possible variations that could be made to it's design. So far, nothing concrete had been planned, but he felt like he was on to something with a few of his designs, he just had to get started on the prototypes.

Tatsuya had been so lost in his thoughts on the prototypes that he'd been fiddling with som random hardware for about 2 minutes after speaking before he snapped out of it. "Ah, sorry about that, I tend to get lost in my thoughts sone times. Anyway, what I was going to say was that I'm sorry for making you wait. Had some trouble at home, but I'm here now and ready to begin." He gave a bow to Yamato and Katsu, as well as a nod to Giichi. "Hello Uzumaki-san, a pleasure to see you in better spirits and I hope that your father appreciates the blade. Please do not hesitate to come by yourself sometime if you ever need a new weapon."

With that said, Tatsuya sealed up the gauntlet again and sent a current of chakra into the machinery. The projection disc began to spin, glowing a bright blue color before giving of a quick flash. Upon dying down, one woukd see a large, but thin, disc of chakra formed above Tatsuya's arm. He'd keep up the flow for a few more seconds to check for any irregularities, of which there were none, before shutting it back down with a pleased look in his eye.

No anomolies in the chakra matrix, everything seems relatively stable, and the projection disc is still performing at maximum efficiency, even after the intensive use it's been put through during testing and calibration. Over all, some damn good work, if I do say so myself.

Once the final checks to his gear were made, he was ready to leave with the others, Ketsui hanging by his side fully charged and ready for action.

Akio Tendou

As Reihana appeared, Akio couldn't help but smile as she was once again showered by compliments from the girl. "Good to see you can remain so happy and chipper with this damn rain coming down in buckets, and as for my hair, I don't really do, much but wash and condition is all. But enough with the compliments, you're making me blush," Akio chuckled a little as Rei explained the reason she wa ted to be told the plan ahead of time, shaking her head in slight amusement. "Plan is simple, we'll be forming two groups, one to try and talk to the Hojo's and another who'll sneak into their office and home find out the secrets they don't want to tell us about. Since the Hojo aren't a true shinobi clan, I'm pretty sure that it should be easy to go undetected, but you can never be too cautious, yeah?"

Upon finishing her explanation, she heard a voice calling out to her, who appeared to be the Seta kid. As he gave his greeting, Akio gave him a scanning look before givongna slight nod of her head in acknowledgement. Nice to meet you too, Seta, and as for the mission, Rei here will be delighted to fill you in on the details." After handing the chunin off to Rei, Akio looked around for the last member of the team with an angry glare on her face.

If that little brat doesn't show up soon, I'm going to channel my inner Tsuki-nee and hunt his ass down myself after this mission is over.

@AbigailTenshiPossibly, Revan respects he directness if nothing else so far. Also, two questions: How come doves aren't all over the fight between the two kings by now, cause that shit is crazy and lots of people are dying, and have you tried contacting Apple and Mugin yet about how come they've yet to post?
@AbigailTenshiRevan doesn't believe in lying or deceiving his co-workers in most instances, he just shoots straight with thenno matter how much it'll screw him over in the end. His own form of honor, or at least, as honorable as he can be. Also, Revan finds the fact that someone whose nearly a decade his junior in terms of age is calling him a kid to be highly amusing.
Aiden Cross

Aiden nodded in agreement to Kuroko's assessment, as Bris' fighting power wasn't the best. However, he was a trickly little bugger, and thus, would do better bringing up the rear and playing the part of the gallery, Kuroko was the secret weapon for in case things went to shit. As much as Aiden hated to admit it, the other Ice mage was stronger than him by a decent margin, if not a large one, and the only reason Aiden's able to match Kuroko in some instances is because of his abilitiy to leech off the man's attacks, though that only got him so far.

"Anyway, let's get a move on, then. Bris, take the sword if you want it but don't you think it's a bit big for you." Aiden called back to the excitable mage, as the blade was rather big, requiring at least 2 hands to hold properly. Upon lifting it, Bris would find that the blade was definitely not normal. It was radiating warmth like a living thing, a fair amount lighter than it looked, and seemed to make a ghostly keening sound as it swung through the air. Other than those qualities, however, the sword was about the same as any other blade.

After that had been taken care of, Aiden led them on towards where ever the blood trail took them. Eventually, the trail led to a large cave entrance decorated with bones, feces, and who knows what else. Making silent gestures for the others to keep voices low and for Taka to head in first while he followed shortly after.

@WaddleDaisy Can you continue the Troll cave. I'm hitting a blank right now, but since I didn't want to leave people hanging, I posted a little something. Please help.

@hatakekuroI could totally bring him into this in some kind of way, like a more stable version of Loki or something of that nature. He was fun to write for, no matter how bad I felt afterwards.
@hatakekuroIf that guild needs members, I could add in a character for it. You know I'm good at making villains(remember Nidhogg)

Steamy Investigations

"I've been meaning to visit this place for a while . . . having to go for a mission does take the fun out it though."

Akio was currently sitting next to the bridge that led to the Hojo Bathhouse, waiting for her team to arrive. She'd sent them all a text telling them all where to meet, so they should be here any second by now. She had also told them to keep their weapons to a bare minimum, as they were here for information gathering only and combat was hardly a factor in this mission. The only reason she didn't tell them to not bring any is because one never knew what could happen on even the most mundane of missions. Combat may have been very unlikely, but who knows what secrets the Hojo clan held and what lengths they'd go to to protect them. She held a small number of senbon and shuriken hidden on her person, as well as a kunai just to be safe.

As she waited for the others, she mentally went over the members of her squad, having read up on their files as soon as she knew who she'd be working with.

Rei's a good worker and sociable, plus she's got a good head on her shoulders, so she should be an asset here. The Inuzuka kid could be a problem if he still has a chip on his shoulder, especially since this mission is exclusively for the benefit of the new regime. I doubt he'll sabotage the mission, but it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on him. Then there's this Seta kid. I've never met him, but he doesn't seem like he'll be any trouble and his summons could be helpful, especially with all the water that was going to be around. Over all, a solid team with only one possible trouble maker.

Akio sighed, looking at the bathhouse and wondering what the Choko siblings were worried about. Whatever secrets the clan had couldn't be that important, as they were not one of the more powerful clans, nor were they large. Akio doubted they were much of a ninja clan either, but what she thought didn't matter in this instance. She was told to find out everything she could about them, and that was what she was going to do.
