@PyromanI don't really think of it as a redemption arc(haven't seen latest episode, don't spoil), mostly because I've never seen Peridot needing redemption. She's just doing her job at first, and then later, she just want's to get home, but has to deal with the gems attacking her. If anything, this arc is Peridot actually getting to know the Crystal gems(or at least Steven) and vice versa.

"Fuuuuuuuuccccck . . . and I had just ignored that brat's presence." Revan groaned from his place in the rafters, before jumping down and walking outside. Someone had to make sure that Matt didn't destrpy half the city this time, and Revan was probably the best man for the job.

Stepping out of the guild hall and placing himself next to Taka, he placed ane elbow on the girl's head, using her like an armrest as he watched the fight, studying Ira's opening moves before clicking his teeth.

"Unless your lover boy put's a lot more force into his blows, I doubt that he's going to stand a chance against Matt. Speed will only get you so far in a fight like this. Most ge can do is avoid what Matt throws his way, though again,,he can.t do it forever." Revan watched the battle for a bit longer before he suddenly spoke up, his voice easily carrying across the area. "Oi, Matt, if you can understand me rigt now, tag me in when you've calmed down a little. I still need to teach the shit a lesson, and I can't do that if you kill him."

@Lmpkioconsidering the level of those fighting versus the level of the one who cast the spell, it's more of a deterrent for every one else to stay the fuck away than a way to keep the fight contained. I doubt it would hurt Matsuki much, if at all, in his present state.

Revan's going to spectate and be ready to stop Matt if need be. From destroying the city of course. If the Lizardking turns Ira into red paste, Revan would probably treat him to some drinks.
