Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

@Halvtand I mean that I don't agree that a chat is quicker--unless you're in so few and they're so slow that you can afford to have notifications on for everything.

Good thing you're not dealing with unregulated near complete strangers on a forum!

Ah, but there's moderators and rules on a forum

It's more comfortable, for me personally.

And I think it's too personal and unregulated when dealing with nearly complete strangers. So... it depends.
double edit: i'd consider making a discord server for this roleplay, considering chatrooms are an easy way to hash out relations between characters and such.

So are OOC threads. "It's quicker" is not the ideal argument. xD
@Raineh DazeThat art is about three years old and terrible whyyyyy. D:

Because I have to use something! D:

Bio mostly complete, just subject to editing.
I've only got a WIP to show (I'm working on the abilities fields and I need to talk with Moerin about some of the background stuff) but it should give a pretty clear idea of where I'm headed.

Nindo:

What are you even expecting me to put in here? O_o
@Raineh Daze
Fair enough. Makes sense to me, I'll be editing.

I'd gotten into the habit of really detailed Character sheets (especially with Naruto, where people often leave much unanswered or really over power OCs.)

I always find it easier to deal with things like that as they show up than make joining the roleplay a chore. Especially a level of TMI--like, does it really matter if someone's a shade faster statistically or not? Rank covers the big discrepancies and from there it's a matter of how abilities are used.
@Raineh Daze
Lol. What part of it is confusing? XD
Not being smart or anything, lol. Just so I know what to change.

Well... it's full of completely extraneous fields (like all the appearance subcategories) and fields that won't apply to all characters (ranking kinjutsu etc.). Then there's information that's only going to be relevant if it's substantially different from normal (graduation points).

And the statistics... well, they're blatantly overkill; you've got more numbers there than a D&D character sheet. If you want some stats, why not just use the data book format?

You'd end up with a sheet more like:

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Personality:
History: (And this would get all the things like village of origin, unusual graduation, etc.)--basic writing ability would fit in things like relationships
Appearance: - pictures in particular mean most of that information is overkill, and I'm sure people would provide details

Ninja Information-
Village: -- just include if they're a missing nin here
Rank:
Teammates/Sensei: If applicable
Abilities: again, basic writing ability should provide the necessary information
Equipment:

And if you want stats, just use the databook.
This way it's less... spreadsheet simulator 9000 and having to rank attractiveness.
I... think you may have overcomplicated that character sheet somewhat. I have no idea what to put for more than half of it. @_@
