Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

I am fairly certain hitting someone the size of a child with a bottle of wine would be construed as attempted murder and weren't you just told not to do that? :P
Healing magic isn't holy, it's just something you can learn. Hell, the thing it's most closely tied to as a specialisation is necromancy because of the more benign parts of necromancy overlapping.

And a few people have dropped out so... sure?
Poor "Jane", surrounded by so many people.

Though it's easier to hide yourself in a crowd... xD
Ah, that's a shame. See you around.

Anyway, I suppose that yes, it is hard for anyone else to do anything whilst someone is gracelessly flying through the air to tackle.
If you want to assume that you've registered everyone in the group, yes; though it would still be nice to have a list of who it is in one place.
Now, now, no arguing over pedantry about where the notice came from. If people are going to get all fighty over a job then they can do that.
@Heartfillia Not everything introduced is going to be immediately relevant. :p
Letitia and Lancelot

"S-Saber, put me down!" the taller blonde protested, not liking this position at all. Surely she would be better protected if she could move, rather than hoping that something in the park would be able to sufficiently hide her from the space-crushing abomination. If she could even begin to hide from it in any fashion--for all she knew right this instant it was keyed into the barrier and aware of the positions of everything within it.

Which was another reason to put her down.

"If this is magecraft I need to have chance to look at it!"

Lancelot, of course, was doing the obvious thing when confronted with a ghostly apparition that destroyed the earth by crushing its hands together: darting forwards to slice at those same hands before backing off again. Though something about the thing suggested that this was unlikely to be anything but a stopgap.
Sorry if anyone was also approaching the counter but I missed them, point me to the right post?
Counter Clerk One: Orc Mission

"Yes, Raphael is... noted," the girl said with an air of nervousness. Obviously, the administration side of the guild needed to have an accurate idea of someone's abilities to assess their rank, which tended to filter down to the counter staff--especially anyone whose rank involved a bodyguard of some type. Not that there was anything explicitly against the rules when it came to acquiring external help, but there had been one or two incidents in the past of an adventurer-turned-mercenary trying to muscle in on too many of the jobs without registering and incurring the extra fees. Really, Mellifleur wasn't even the guild's most notable necromancer.

It was possible that the half-elf just found the large armoured knight scary on his own account.

"Everything seems to be in order. We at the guild would like to remind you that counting bounties by bringing in heads has been against regulations since the Biting Incident, and wish you luck on your tasks."

Counter Clerk Two: Missing People

The girl answering Ifrari seemed slightly confused--and far more average than her half-elven counterpart, being both fully human and a brunette. "Ah... I'm afraid that there are no detailed maps of a usable scale. From the patrols sent out from the capital when this first started, we can only confirm that the road immediately out of the capital is safe past the fork to Walverrest. We think that whatever is responsible must be operating in the Haesting Barrens, but..."

That still left most of the area between the two cities; between the numerous caves and ruins amongst the rolling hills, there were a lot of places something could be hiding. Unless it was a monstrous sheep, it was unlikely to be hidden in plain sight.
