The other two girls arrived back soon enough, and to Tawny's surprise, the shy blond had been the first one to speak up as they settled in. She simply sat in silence, arms wrapped around her new furry companion as she listened to the conversation that alternated between the storm and the temple they had sought refuge in. She then looked away as Reina opened up about the reason behind her dislike for storms. Tragic, definitely, but not knowing how to respond, she decided it was best just not to. The other two girls in the group were open and sociable, and as for Tawny herself, not too much, or so she felt.

She then slid forward a little towards the fire when Naomi called for everyone to move even closer. "I'm as close as I can get."

Of course, she did still try to keep some distance away from Lucas because of the thing in her arms. Speaking of the boy, he clearly was not done with his surprises for the night. She watched in confusion as he mad his way over to Naomi and practically asked if she was single right after Lance said something to him. What exactly had gotten into him? She turned to look at Lance, expressing her curiosity about what he had said to him.

"Oh well," Tawny began in response to Lance and Lucas' exchange about the feline. "I guess this time, it's deciding to stick to me. It looks like Lucas and I shall be keeping away from each other for the time being."

With the cat still at her feet, she made her way over to the other side of the setup away from the allergic blond while Lance lit the fuel. She settled down near the fire, helping to toss in more of the drier pieces of wood to keep it going. While doing so, she took the time to think. Perhaps the situation was not all bad. The place seemed interesting, and there was no one that she would rather be caught in a storm with than her friends who were currently with her. In addition, she now had a little black fur-ball with her that could help keep her warm.

Surely they could come up with something to do while they waited the storm out. They were a bunch of teenagers after all. She glanced outside as the storm worsened, hoping that the other two girls would make it back soon.
