Personally I'm all for new trinities forming in these games instead of people being put on pedestals due to the comic status quo.

This. Just because they are the big three in other media, does not necessarily mean they must be the same here. Especially when one is a different person in the tiara, and another is a mentally unstable myth that doesn't possess the same uber tactical mind as the original.

I've always personally preferred in these OU games that the Avengers were SHIELD-sponsored, a strike team of sorts, and the JL were the cliche superhero group that represents the hope and dreams of America.

I like some dark and drama, too. You know what else I like? Costumes that don't look like a four-year-old picking out their own outfit for the first day of preschool. Acting that's not stiffer than a teenage boy in 2007 watching a Megan Fox movie. Writing that's not... well, you get the idea.

That's awesome. At the same time, though, between the O-G Titans apparently coming back, Titans GO, and that awful-looking live-action thing, they're going to be running three vastly different shows all about the same one team. Four, if you count Young Justice. Much as I appreciate DC trying to give each individual sub-faction of their fandom what they want, I'm not sure that keeping the fandom splintered is the right move.

I'm not sure this chibi version will continue should the original return. Maybe, so they can milk it for all it is worth. Maybe the original is only getting one final season. The live-action shit will be canceled, no doubt about that, though.

So, original Teen Titans cartoon returning soon? Yes, please.

Honestly, I agree with Andy in that I think three of the Big Seven converging on a cosmic threat isn't on the same level as everyone randomly showing up to the Joker burning some money in Robinson Park. Also, Canary was involved in the Black Adam event on the West Coast, not Robinson Park. So get your references correct.

Jokes aside, while I am not up to date on the event, I'm more or less commenting on needing to jump in at the very end, knowing there will be another chance relatively soon, despite you just saying you were struggling to wrap up your arc. Again, I am not up to date, and I am not actually judging, complaining, nor actually suggesting you shouldn't do it. Just giving context to the obvious joke, because apparently that's needed.

I've gotta get a few more things done today, so I'll set about working on my next post tomorrow. If something comes up, I'll still have one up by the weekend at the latest.

In a couple more weeks, once all the rest of the tasks I need to fix are completed, I should have more time so I can catch up on the IC. I am dramatically behind. And also I will hopefully get back to my self-imposed plan of posting at least once or twice every seven days.
