Mike and Meowth were just barely able to evade the Poliwag's attack. Mike agreed with Violet in that he didn't want to fight the Poliwag but rather than confirm with Violet, Mike scooped up Claws and dashed into the mist, using the mist as cover. The two jumped over the small pokemon and dashed for the otherside of the bridge. While running, Mike took out a potion and used it on Claws. Mike then returned Claws back to his Pokeball and used a potion on Venonat.

Now Mike got to the end of the bridge and dashed towards the angry pinser.

"Alrighty Pinser. It's high time you put that anger to good use on my team! Go Venonat! Show 'em what your made of!" Mike yelled as he sent Venonat out to fight Pinser. Naturally Venonat was scared but Mike's words of encouragement at least gave her the will to try her best.

As Violet and Mike got to the bridge, Mike broke eye contact with the Pinser across the lake and turned to Violet. He was a little nervous to go up against the Pinser but he had confidence in his Pokemons' abilities.

"Hey Violet, Radiowaves is gonna go catch himself that Pinser thats been terrorizing the forest. You can tag along if you'd like." Mike said as he turned to cross the bridge and met up with the Poliwag blocking his way. Mike strode up confidently but he could see an emotion in the pokemon that he was feeling very strongly at the moment: fear. Not fear of Mike but fear of the very Pokemon Mike sought to catch. Mike felt sorry for the pokemon of the forest, after all they lived here and had to deal with the monstrosity on a daily basis. Mike decided to try a different tactic and rather than sicking Claws on him, Mike crouched down so he was at eye level with the Poliwag.

"Hey there Poliwag. Your being mighty brave coming up here to try and take me and my team down all by your lonesome. If I were you I'd be pretty scared right now but that makes me think that your either very full of yourself or your more scared of what'll happen if you don't do anything to try to stop me." Mike said as he glanced over at the angry Pinser in the distance. "I'm gonna make you an offer lil'guy. You can stand there and give it your all and fight against me to give yourself a little leeway with the angry pair of horns over there or you can join me and my team. Together we can take down that Pinser and help all of your friends in the forest here. So what do you say?" Mike asked the small Pokemon with his own hand extended as he hoped his little speech would save him from an extra fight and possibly get him a new pokemon.

@Pathfinder I don't watch a lot of animal either but that sounds like it would be cool and hilarious to watch. All those ribbons and shite for transformations just with some hairy legged dude.

Since initially I planned on OMAC being loosely allied with the US government, maybe he could be sent in to try and arrest Booster when he shows up?

Mike ran over and scooped up the pokeball and held it aloft in victory.

"Oh yeah! Welcome to the winning team Venonat!" Mike yelled as he brought the pokemon back down to eye level and pocketed the pokeball. He then egarly followed along the river with Violet as he thought of any and all possible moves that the Venonat could possess with enough training. This was one of the greatest days of Mike's life.

As the two trainers and their Pokemon walked along the river, Mike looked over at the other side and saw the infamous Pincer that lived in the forest.
