Was slightly hoping Urban would respond in some way to Meredith, but eh, I'll just have her mess with a few of the students. Suppose I should wait and see if @Ogobrogo will post though.

Lazy bastard.

Anyways, I'm off for the night then. It's waaaaaay past time I should have been in the bed.

"It really doesn't make any sense."

Tsk. So he didn't understand. How boring. How difficult was it for pesky humans to understand pesky logic? Quite difficult it seemed. Really, here she was making perfect sense that anyone with a brain could figure out. Normally, she wasn't supposed to be anywhere near the kitchens. Mainly, so she wouldn't eat all the food before the staff even had time to cook it. The second?...well, that's not important for now. Anyways, she wasn't supposed to be here, so, while everyone was distracted keeping an eye on the new students and making sure another fight didn't break out, it was the perfect time for her to sneak in here while they were distracted.

"Well, I could do one of two things, taze you and carry you out, or I could do the easier option."

kek. She would have liked to see him try. Aside from being able to modify her body on a whim to be able to resist that, she doubted he actually would. Causing a scene here wasn't a good idea, even this guy who didn't understand simple logic should be able to see that. Still, it was rather boring that she couldn't at least do a little something to mess with him.

"I get blackmail, or you get reprimanded and maybe even fired. Depends on my mood and your record. Best part about society these days is, I don't have to lift a finger to stop you. All I have to do is send a single email with an attachment. I'd say it was nice to finally meet you- but it really wasn't. If you wish to amend that- it's hard to miss me. As of now, you are a small and immature child who has, for some reason, been trusted to teach and be an example to our next generation. Please, prove me wrong and make an adult of yourself. There will be children watching."

Ugh. This guy. He was seriously killing her mood. Really, she was getting quite irritable. Aside from being hungry, this guy was making her quite a bit on the twitchy side. Not exactly a good thing, considering the parasite's disposition. She would have told him she was perfectly suited to teach - she was the top biologist in the entire country after all. No, really. In fact, they had personally asked her to! Although, she figured with her history, they also wanted to keep an eye on her as well. Not that she particularly minded. She wasn't going to do anything. Probably. Some days, she really had to keep herself in check from eating all of these delicious looking humans. Human food just wasn't enough for a growing space alien parasite sometimes!

"Why so serious, lizard?" She giggled to herself, not expecting an answer as he walked away. Oh well. "Technically, I'm still a kid! Go ahead and report me!~ All I'll get is a little scolding!~" She shouted after him with a playful smile. It was true. She was, compared to her peoples standards. Little more than a teenager, just as old as some of the kids here, even if she was old enough to be some of their great grandmothers. Still, he had a point. She shouldn't probably gorge herself on this food, even if she was hungry. Oh well she'd go to the cafeteria and see if she could find any little interesting little kids to play with.

...and by that, she meant charm some food away from the kids who didn't know she was a teacher yet. With a happy smile, she waltzed out of the room, patting the staff member that had reported her on his head. "Hehe, good work today! From now on, it's your job, to make sure I don't get in there!" The guy simply gave her a puzzled look. "I look forward, to seeing if you can keep me out! I'll give ya a tip! Just locking the door won't work!~" And with that last word, she left the kitchens, leaving a bewildered cook standing there.

“Melbro, Quietbro, and I went and played hide and seek with Onixbro. Melbro and Quietbro lost.”

At the statement, Abigail visibly blinked in surprise. Had...had they been killed? Really, it wasn't her problem whether those losers died on the first leg of the journey, but still...she hadn't actually thought that...well, anyone would die. At least, not so soon or so easily. She remained quiet, unable to bring herself to say anything.

...

Well, whatever. That just proved she was right. They weren't cut out for it. At least they didn't have to endure any embarrassment or other stupid stunts for long.

“So they’re IT. But I’m kinda tired, so I don’t wanna play anymore. I dunno about the others. I didn’t see them. Probably.”

...right. This was Avery. She hadn't known him for long, but it was rather obvious that she should take anything he says with a grain of salt. More than likely, the others were fine. Great. Here she was hoping they'd be out of the picture. Oh well, they'd run crying home to mom soon enough.

“So whatcha think everybody’s up to?”

Abigail sighed, resting her chin on her knees as she wrapped her arms around them.

"Who knows. If they got away from the Onix, then they're fine. Well, unless they ran into another nest of pokemon in the chaos. Then...well, you know." She replied somberly. "Not our problem though. They should have been prepared to get hurt on this journey."

It was then, Spinarak abruptly turned on Abigails head, facing the direction of the forest. The little spider let out a few short growls, and took an aggressive stance. Abigail turned her head in the direction the bug was indicating, and was a little less than pleased to see someone else walking towards them. That was Blake, right? Hmph. She would have honestly preferred the timid little girl over him. At least she would be fun to mess with, unlike this jerk.

For now, she decided to ignore him, giving Spinarak a pat.

"Quiet you. Let's ignore the jerk." She smugly told her pokemon, making sure that it was just loud enough for Blake to hear her. Oh well. So much for ignoring him.
Yo, folks. Nice to see the IC is back in a flow.

Thanks again, Rune.

Don't mention it, Fell!~

That's what I'm here for~

To forcefully drag everyone with IC whether they like it or not!~ :D

"H-hey Alexis. How are you doing? Euh... Sorry if I insulted you earlier, I didn't mean to. You mind if I come and join you with dinner?"

..yep, life hated her. It's official. At first, she was gonna play it cool. No way she could be coming to talk to her, right? Nah, she was just going to walk by on her way to get dinner. Those hopes were quickly dashed when she started talking. By the time Anastasia had even got halfway through her sentence, Alexis was already trying to come up with an excuse, any excuse to get out of this situation without seeming like a total jerk. Unfortunately for her, she was failing. Horribly, failing.

"I-insulted? I wasn in- I just, uh, well, I uh-you, uh j-just caught me at a bad time!" She stuttered out, a bit too forcefully. Well, no, she wasn't insulted. Did she come off like she was upset with Anastasia? Well damn it. Strike one for her. She was already making a fool of herself then. Well, she should say something here to try and appear friendly. First of all, apologize for being a jerk earlier. Should be easy. Right? Calm, just stay calm and you got this.

"J-just-Whatever," She scoffed, stuffing her hands inside of her jacket pockets, turning her head to focus on something other than the girl standing in front of her. With her initial shock over with, it was easy enough to go back to her normal behavior. "Don't really care one way or the other. I was gonna sit with kitty, but I've lost her. So yeah, sit if you want. I don't care." With that, she walked off to get herself some food, not caring if Anastasia followed her or not.

...no, not easy.

Goddamn it. She was horrible at this. She inwardly cringed, the scowl on her face making the other students give her a bit of room as she got what she came for. Glorious food. Thankfully, they were some of the first ones here so they didn't have to wait long, and before she knew it, she was sitting down with a plate of food in front of her. Well, at least it looked better than that...stuff that passed for food that the lab coats fed her.

...she hoped Anastasia sat elsewhere.

~Meredith Hillard~

Meredith was busy stuffing her face with anything she could get her mits on. She barely registered the door opening and another teacher walking in. Obviously, she wasn't too concerned with being forced out. Either because she didn't think he would, or didn't think he actually could. Well, not that she'd get violent over a little food. Sneaking out at night was always easy enough to do. Not that she did that too often, no. She had a stash of food in her room for emergencies.

"So, I do like the idea, but I gotta ask Ms. Hillard- we're about to be served food. Why now of all times?"

Good question, for some simple minded crocodile man. If he was smart, he might have actually come up with an answer himself. Oh well, time for explanations. After swallowing a rather large piece of uncooked meat whole, she gave Henry an all too friendly smile as she turned her head slightly to face him.

"What do you say we adjourn. Join me for dinner? I always get huge portions. Agent Henry Olin, staff self defense instructor and guidance councilor. Veteran Elite- at your service."

...well, she would like to have him for dinner. That was something she was pretty sure she'd like. He looked tasty.

...had she ever eaten crocodile before? There was one time, she though but it must have been a loooong time ago. Meh. Oh well. Didn't matter.

"We~ell," She hummed. "Think about it, lizard brain. More often than not, I can't get in here because well, I'd eat everything and then that'd make a few people quite upset! So normally, I'm not allowed anywhere near here." She spoke through a full mouth, causing some of her words to be slightly distorted as she swallowed. "After the incident today though, they're more focused on the students! So it was easy getting in!" She giggled, apparently quite happy at her accomplishment. "Makes sense if you care to think about it~"

Despite her somewhat mean sounding demeanor, Meredith wasn't meaning to be insulting or mean. Just sometimes, it was hard for her to understand humans since she tended to think things through logically rather than emotionally. A little known fact to most, since she was often quite...out there in her mannerisms. To her, it was rather obvious and explaining it to someone seemed rather trivial and a waste of energy.

"But seems I've been caught." She sighed, playing with a lose strand of hair. "Oh well," started giving him a playful grin. "My butt is staying here. What ya gonna do about it, Lizard boy?~" She continued, pretty much daring him to remove her from the premises.
OKies cool, I'll invite ya :D
