Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Apologies for double posting, but I haz Question: I'm assuming it's night time?
@Vahir

(godddamn it I gotta stop forgetting to mention people)

EDIT: And Nerine's intro is up! Decided to hole off posting for Nefas, for now. I'ma wait for a few others to do things before I have her hop off somewhere.

Well, while Grindelhooke isn't particularly rooted (lol puns) to forestry in particular (he's a restorer of nature, after all), it would make sense that he shares some backstory with the other two, moreso Nerine than AyyLmao Aylin.

For Nerine, I'd say he usually passed by her territory whenever humans mess up something in the forest, perhaps at Nerine's summoning or perhaps because Grindelhooke can just sense whenever mortals ruin nature. I think her view of him as either her pet or her servant could make for some good comic relief, as Grindelhooke wouldn't exactly view the situation the same way. Furthermore, perhaps it was Grindelhooke that convinced Nerine to join the demons? Or vice versa, who knows. Just a suggestion.

Well, I can certainly see her having him help restore destroyed parts of the forest that she wouldn't be able to revive. She can't bring dead plants and things, or heal them. She can only grow new things over the old. So yeah, if she could save that one apple tree she totally had a thing for she'd get him to do it :D

And yeeeah, I can totally see some potential for comic relief there. She'd probably try carrying him around like a pet rock if he's small enough xD

Hmm...he could have also been a deciding factor in her joining, certainly, though the Shamans of her tribe swayed her more than he would have I think. She may be whimsical and somewhat fickle, but she wouldn't have gone against something they seriously didn't like.

@Space Communist@Rune_AlchemistYeah I think we can work something out between the two. Aylin views herself as te self proclaimed watcher of nature in the way of keeping balance - never taking to much ect ect. So she'll have undoubtedly gone through Nerine's area and been around Grindlehook. Thiugh im sure she'll have some issues with theatre at least. But yeah we can figure out some history

I think Aylin could be a good intermediary between humans and Grindlehooke and Nerine, actually. As you said, she's about balance, and Nerine and Grindlehook certainly aren't for balance - they'd both probably have the entire world covered in a forest, and let the animals do whatever they wanted to with the humans.

I would say that ultimately Nerine doesn't hate or have anything against Aylin either

A: She thinks she's cute

B: Nerine does in fact, understand that humans need some things from the forest to live. She just doesn't trust them to only take what they need and nothing else. Especially after being trapped in a dark Iron Cell, chained to the wall without any soil, water, or light.

I imagine during the war they sort of had a love-hate relationship perhaps? She probably would have even tried to repeatedly get Aylin to defect, though xD

Just a warning to the other demigods still in the spire/pit, Kalik is going to destroy this place lol.

Well, Nefas is destroying the prison above it (Kinda) So that's cool xD

Need to go ahead and get Nerine out of there, though, in that case.
yaaay~

Should have Nerine's intro up sometime soon, barring any interruptions.

@Space Communist@Fernstone

Considering Grindlehook, Nerine, and Aylin are are fairly foresty based, think there's probably some history there. You guys wanna discuss stuffs or no?
@Space Communist

Ah, sorry, I didn't see your applications. I would rather future applications be sent in private messages, instead of getting lost in this thread.

Characters #1 and #2 are fine (the time travel thing's a bit weird but the character's interesting so I can roll with it). #3 is a bit similar to Nerine, but if Alchemist doesn't object than neither will I.

Me and him already discussed it, so I am cool with him if he wants to still use him~
hmmm~

I'll try and have Nerine get out of her cell sometime later tonight~
@Rune_Alchemist @Lasrever

Do y'all want to do some back and forth before I make a post? Or are you okay with moving forward?

Hmm...

Maybe a bit of character interaction would be good?

Of course, I don't care much either way.
@Rune_Alchemist

Nerine's fine with me. Getting locked away in a cave must have been a special kind of torture for a nature-themed Child though.

You have no idea.

She's going to be quite...'withered' and probably one of the weakest once she leafs the prison~

sorry not sorry for that pun
Now I need to write more opinions xD I better get to work

Karma for being an enabler xP
@Rune_AlchemistWell, you either purposefully skipped my character in your opinions or you just had no comments to give. But seeing as Nerine can't make what is destroyed you said? She only grows things and thus can't grow things from nothing? I was thinking that based on how Kalik's destructive powers work in the cycle of life, if she ever needed something removed, she could always ask (he could help her landscape I suppose lol). Usually, a forest fire allows for brand new life, and thus is what I'm getting at.

Derp.
Yeah, I forgot him. My bad. Will add in a moment. It's sort of late here and my brain is shutting down and telling me to go to sleep. I keep telling it sleep is for the weak, but it won't listen.

But yes, seeds, nutrients, and things like that must already be there for her to speed up their growth process. But yeah, if he wanted to he could help her landscape.

Like say if something was destroyed or died. She can't restore something, but she could theoretically make new life over the dead so long as she had the seeds, water, and the soil had the appropriate nutrients. Like say, an uprooted tree. Or a tree that was cut down and used for lumber. She can't save the tree, but if there are any of its seeds nearby, she can use them to grow it.

Although, not sure how much she'd be for landscaping, since she'd just prefer to let things grow naturally. She could ask for his help in creating a nice little glade for her to rest in after this, though. She's probably going to be very weak once she's free, since she hasn't had any contact with soil, trees, or anything else for a millennia.

EDIT: And added

@Vahir

Alright, she's done finally. Nothing else to add at least, I think. Went ahead and added opinions for everyone. Decided to make it a bit lighter than Nefas'

All I have is just one question.

Does spider-cthulhu have pusspuss?

Well.

from her CS:
"Nefas is in fact, neither male nor female. Take that as you will"

I'll leave that up to your imagination~
