I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
With Cait out of the picture, Charlotte decided to work quickly. She picked up the glass bottle that contained the slightly acidic liquid and moved to the back of the cave. She'd have to work on the fancy bits and finishing touches later, but for now she hopefully had enough to at least make a bit more room for herself. Enough room for her supplies, a desk, some storage containers a proper bed and a few other things that she would need. First and foremost though, was priming the earth to move. Just a small bit of her life essence infused into the bottle and it'd be set.
She exhaled, the glass flask glowing a faint bright green color as its contents sparked lightly. Damn, not as strong as she'd have hoped...but it'd do for now. She could make a stronger one later. For now, she was going to encourage this earth to move. With a swift motion, she poured the entire green substance onto the ground below, making sure the liquid at least was able to cover most of the back of the cave and the floor. A small entrance was fine for now. She could work on that later.
Next...was waiting, not for long, but the process was already out of her hands. She did all she could, all she could do now was rely on the latent power of the earth setting to work. Thankfully it seemed she didn't have to wait long. Suddenly, the earth in the immediate area began to shift, as if a miniature earthquake was happening. The liquid spread on the ground sizzled, before being absorbed into the earth, green lines of energy crackling along the surface as cracks began appearing.
Now all she had to do was watch as the earths natural Erosion process was sped up to an unnatural rate.
The earth moved before her eyes, hollowing out a decently sized cave as the earth retreated from the area. It was about as big as a small home, though from even. Rocky stalagmites and stalactites hung fro, the floor and ceiling making the room a bit less welcoming, but it was fine. It definitely could use a few finishing touches from human hands, but she could make do for now. It had room enough for her to finally stand without her goddamn head hitting the ceiling and that was all she wanted for now.
Now all she needed was shelves, a proper bed, some storage containers and then a few more alchemy supplies and she'd have a nice little bed here.
Too bad she had to use alchemy to use it though, this place would be much less reactive to such changes for awhile now...
Ah well. She was satisfied with this.
After a few moments of making sure the process was completed, Charlotte turned back to the cave entrance.
"Cait, boreíte na epistrépsete sto. Prosektikí tychón kinoúmenon vráchon."
The night passed swiftly, with Charlotte quickly falling asleep once Cait left her alone. Most of the time, she never remembered what she dreamed. Night was typically just one big giant blank spot on her memory. It made sleeping rather boring, honestly. She would much rather either be studying or stay awake. Not all that difficult with the help of a bit of alchemy potions of the self enhancing sort. She stayed awake for almost five days once before her roommates practically forced her to sleep. Tonight though, she would have rather had that dreamless rest...
Charlotte woke with a start, eyes opening with a start as she was greeted with the sight of the dull grey stone of the cave rather than the cold, frost bitten dungeons of Astril and the smell of chemicals and blood. Well...she supposed being here was better than being there. The dark haired woman sat up, resting her arms on her knees, sitting there silent for a few moments as she merely shoved the thoughts out of her head, noticing Cait shivering off to the side.
...
Charlotte sighed in irritation as she walked over to her equipment, picking up one of the rocks she had been using as a makeshift fire. Rocks, modified with the essence of Fire. Not that difficult to make if you had the proper materials. Worked just as well as an actual fire and could function as materials for other things if used properly. A limited lifespan once one used it, but could function as small heaters to keep one warm for awhile. It'd be enough at least for Cait to warm herself as she waited outside. She had work to do.
She moved back over to where Cait was sleeping, and rather rudely shook the glowing haired woman awake.
As soon as she did, she'd shove the rock in her hands and point to outside the cave.
"Periménete ekeí éxo, kai den diakópsei!" Her voice was stern, but otherwise not hostile.
"No, we are staying here." Livia replied sternly. "Fia, I love you to death dear, but sometimes you can be so...easily perturbed. It's rather disconcerting." Livia didn't know what the girls problem was with the water, but she would need to get over it quite soon. Livia was growing tired of her constant...needs. For a legendary bird of fire, she was awfully delicate. It was a shame, really, but at least she could be easily controlled as she was.
"Now sit." She indicated a spot next to her. "If not in the water, then at the edge and tell me what's wrong."
~Cynthia~
A small shade of red ran across Cynthia's face as she was teased. Still, her hands went to work, fingers pressing against the Yuki-Onna's cold skin. Well, she should probably answer that question.
"Just...the headmistress." Cynthia replied simply. "It is more of a...professional relationship, though. As her servant I tend to her needs, and if she desires something, It is my responsibility to do it to the best of my ability." Well, she hoped that was sufficient. Aside from that, she never really had much of a relationship with...anyone, really.
~Miren~
Well, her bunny buns hadn't been nibbled yet so all was doing good. That said, with the vast amount of food Eith had just ordered the bunny was less than happy.
"Ah...she just wants to fatten my little bunny buns up, doesn't she?" Miren internally whined as she took a seat at the table. The poor bunny was sitting as stiff as a board despite her best efforts to try and relax a little. She was in public, there was no way the hound could do something to her here. Right. Logic was her friend! All she had to do was just...relax a bit. Right. And order food. With a voice that almost sounded like it was saying 'help me' she ordered a few vegetables, a glass of water, and a small side of meat. Had to eat healthily, after all!
Now that she had ordered though, what exactly was she supposed to do? The bunny couldn't decide. All she could do was sit there and await the inevitable nibbling.
Now, Charlotte didn't mind sharing a bed with someone. Wouldn't be the first time she bunked with someone else. She had to share a room with three people back in Astril, after all. As annoying as it was, she had to put up with it. At least the other two people were...tolerable, and one of them was...the only person she'd have ever considered a 'friend'. But, sleeping this close with a complete stranger? Well, she didn't mind it, but the other woman was getting awfully close. Much closer than she was comfortable with.
She rolled over, giving Cait slightly annoyed look.
"Óchi Meínete. Den ankaliés." She pressed a finger against Cait's head, pushing her slightly to hopefully indicate she was not to sleep on the same side of the bedding as she was. There Only one person she'd ever let sleep that close to her if she could help it.
She rolled back over, facing away from Cait. She was fine - she was used to cold nights anyways. Astril was notoriously cold, after all. To be honest, the heat from this beach was likely to kill her sooner than any giant bird...
Ask? She was pretty sure if she asked, Lily would say no. Therefore, it was better to do it anyways. She couldn't get in trouble for something she was never told not to do, after all. Flawless logic. That said, Tsuki was right. She did want to get to know all the funny little humans here in a much more...intimate manner, heh. She had no desire to harm or be outright mean to any of them. Just play with them. So far, Lily had proven to be most entertaining. Unfortunately, it seemed like Tsuki had already eaten all of the food in the small window she had been thinking and suggested that the two of them share the last one.
Well then. It didn't seem like Lily wanted to be the first to reconcile their differences, so it looked like she'd have to be the greater person here. Well, she was already a Great One, so that was just expected, hehe. Puns. Bea picked up the cake from the table, slender hand holding it as Tsuki yawned and quickly fell asleep, falling forwards on the table....with his hands grabbing her chest again. Bea tilted her head. The little cub seemed to have a pretty bad habit of doing that. Not that she minded, really, but...hmm. What was so fun about grabbing a humans chest? Maybe she should try it later? It seemed to be a common thing at least among children.
Lily didn't seem particularly happy about the turn of events though. Shame, she rather liked it when she was able to touch another person. She didn't entirely understand why Lily seemed to not like it. It was quite a pleasant feeling, really. Perhaps since she had more of a chest it wasn't pleasant? Or maybe it was so pleasant that she got flustered? Bea wanted to find out. Perhaps she really should try it?
And then, poof. Thankfully, Old Tsuki saved Lily from further embarrassment.
In an instant, the little cub had grown into a big, strong bear to which Lily seemed surprised. How did she know it was Tsuki? Well, for one he called her big sis. Only one human had ever called her that, even in the short span they had known each other. Secondly...well, he looked like Tsuki. Except older. She didn't understand quite a number of human things, but something like this was definitely quite easy to understand.
She was confused as to how Lily couldn't recognize him.
"Hm. Ah...the little cub has grown? Little birdie didn't think humans aged so fast. Has little cub not been truthful with his big sister? She would be very hurt if he hasn't been..." There was a hint of playful disappointment in her voice as she spoke, her head shifting to the other side. Meanwhile, the cake floated at the side of her head as a dull bluish tentacle wrapped gently around it. She gave a light giggle and a soft smile towards Tsuki. "Hehe, little cub, this little birdie does not mind touching. Her feathers are not preened by others often...it is a most pleasant feeling."
The implications of that sentence was completely lost on Bea. Instead, she turned towards Lily, deciding to focus on the dragon.
"Little cub wanted us to share," Bea said as the tentacle holding the cake lowered itself to Lily's mouth level, a small smile displayed on her lips. "This little biride would not mind it, hehe~" Unfortunately for Lily, a thin layer of something slimy was also coating the tentacle...and...had rubbed off onto the cake.
Lena would have cooking supplies Probably some stuff to take care of her armor and sword with, but other than that probably didn't plan that far ahead because she's smart.
Ah, that was a stupid question to ask, wasn't it? She probably should have kept her mouth shut and focused on the hair. With a quiet frown, she set about doing just that. Ugh, this whole small talk thing was not her forte and it was making her a bit irritated. She managed to go about her work the same as before though, and eventually had finished the Yuki-Onna's hair. She had washed it quite thoroughly, as she wanted to make extra sure she did a good job. She even found some blue-berry scented soap she thought the Yuki-Onna would like.
After she was done, and a quick rinse Mugi's hair would be quite envious. Now, normally she'd be done, but she sort of wanted to continue. She wasn't good at this whole talking thing, and the less work she had to do the chances of her having to talk would go up. Well, the only solution then was to keep working.
"...Massage?" She was skilled in such an area as well. After the headmistress got a little on the older side, she had requested them quite often. She had made sure to become rather skilled at it.
~Miren~
No! Human! Don't leave her little bunny self with the mutt!
Miren watched Swen go with obvious disappointment. The only reason she considered going was because Swen would be there to hopefully stop the mutt if she got hungry. Now though? She looked over to Eith, a nervous smile displayed on her features as she tried to assess the situation. If she went, the chance of her being eaten increased. If she didn't go and made the mutt angry, the chances of her being eaten before she could even say no, also increased. So, die now or die later? That was her options here.
"Ahh...what has my little bunny buns done to deserve this?" She muttered, floppy ears drooping a bit as her shoulders slumped. "I must have been a bad little bunny sometime...oh God why has thou forsaken me?" The little bunny didn't seem too keen on following Eith anywhere, but between dying now and later, she'd chose later.
"A-alright, I am a bit hungry..." She said with a hesitant voice, looking over to Eith. "And it'd be rude to decline such an invitation...u-uhm." She looked like she wanted to ask something else, but her voice faltered a bit before shaking her head. "Lets go, shall we?"
Ritz, Ledyba Level 5 Status: Should probably get healed.
Lure, Combee Level 6 Status: Minor damage.
2500$ Antidote x1 pokeball x2
As the pokeball soared through the air, Claire held her breath as it collided with the bee pokemon. Ralia stood at the ready with a growl, in case it freed itself. Not that it'd do much to weaken a gust attack.
It shook once.
It shook twice..
It shook thrice...
The pokemon broke free! Well, okay, so she wasn't having beginners luck nor did she have a high luck stat, but who needed luck anyways? Not her, nope! Not when she was just this good! She didn't waste any time. As soon as it got off another gust in the direction of Ralia, Claire tossed another pokeball at it. Ralia managed to take the blow like a pro, and while knocked off her feet looked otherwise fine, though she'd probably need to heal her after this. After battling Ritz and this Combee, she was probably feeling it. But that was besides the point.
The pokeball shook once.
Twice!
...three times...and...Combee was caught!
"Awww yeah, that is what I am talking about!~" Claire did a little victory pose by pumping her fist into the air with Ralia joining in the celebrations as well. The Ralts along with its clones, did a quick little dance routine before disappearing, with Ralia giving a small giggle as she walked over to the pokeball.
"Hey Foxy!~" Claire said in reply to Delphox finally. "I caught a combee! Haha, take that ya silly bugs!~" Before the Delphox could really say anything, Claire gave the fox type a quick hug. "Hehe, thanks for the help there! Couldn't have done it without ya, but now I gotta say hi to my new teammate." Releasing the fox without realizing she was a bit...tipsy, Claire practically leaped over to where the pokeball had fallen and picked it up. Now, what to name the little bee? She had a few names already thought of, but she'd want to meet the pokemon a bit before finally deciding on a suitable name...
"Alright, Combee!" Claire said, releasing the bee pokemon from its pokeball. The bug type wobbled a bit as it regained its...erm, footing? Flighting? Aerial balance? It looked a bit confused about what happened, six little eyes darting around as it twirled on the spot, trying to figure out what happened.
"Hey there little guy!" Claire said, giving her a bright smile. "Sooo, I know you said you didn't wanna come with me and all, buuuut, heh." She thumbed the pokeball in her hands. The Combee's confused expression turned from confusion, to one of expressionless disappointment, its six little eyes staring up at Claire as a small frown formed in each of its three faces. "Soo, how about we start over? The name's Claire and-H-hey! At least let me finish talking before you buzz off somewhere!" The combee had decided to continue on with its life, and promptly flitted away from Claire. The trainer ran after it, catching up with her rather easily and coming to a halt in front of her.
"H-hey! Okay, I know, you're...probably a little angry."
"Bee bee combee." That...sounded oddly sarcastic. And antagonistic. Like the bee was calling her a pest herself. At least she would a cute pest. Ralia was off to the side, placing a hand over her mouth. She looked like she was trying not to laugh. Whatever the bee had said, it probably was an insult then. Sounded like one at least. Claire narrowed her eyes at the bee. Okay, cheeky little bugger was she? Well, if that was how she wanted to play it, Claire could play ball.
"Oho, so that's how you're gonna be, eh? Well that's cool. Totally cool, yep. Yep yep. Cool." Claire huffed, shaking her head with shrug. "I suppose I could let ya go if ya don't like me that much, buuuut...I dunno, after that battle you're looking pretty roughed up. Would be a shame if ya happened upon a beedrill or something. I was even gonna give ya a potion but if you don't want it..." For a few seconds, the six eyes narrowed at Claire, seeming to challenge that claim.
Ralia seemed to have found a berry somewhere and was nibbling on it while watching, like this was first rate entertainment. She offered one to Delphox if she wanted one.
"Combee. Bee." That sounded accusatory, mixed with a little disbelief.
"Oho, I would most certainly dare, little bee." By now a few of Ralia's clones had joined in the audience. To emphasize this point, Claire took out the potion from her bag and held it in front of the bee. "Ralia got roughed up pretty bad, and I think she needs it so if you wanna buzz off, feel free too."
"Com...bee." The six little eyes narrowed at Claire, quickly zipping up to her eye level. "Bee."
"Sooo...does that mean you'll come with me, then?~"
"...bee."
"Heh, alright then!" Claire quickly applied the potion to the Combee, giving her a bright smile. "Hehe, we got off on the wrong foot, didn't we? Lets see..." The trainer turned back to Ralts and her audience of her clones. "Lets see...I think 'Lure' would be a good name for her. What do you think Ralia?" As she asked the Question, one of the Ralts' in the audience started pointing in the direction of the combee. Claire turned her head, only to find the bug pokemon already flying away at a fairly high speed.
"Oi! Get back here you stupid bug!" Claire took off after the bee, but thankfully she hadn't managed to get very far before Ralia pointed out that both her potion and the Combee were getting away. Claire jumped, tackling the bug mid flight before it could get much further. Both pokemon and trainer landed on the ground with 'Lure' ending up under Claire. "Heh, you're not gonna make this easy for me, are ya?"
"Combee." "I'm sorry you're too much of a bad trainer to catch a simple little bee." That sounded extremely mocking and antagonistic.
"Rrrraaal." Ralia and her little audience of herself held both hands over their mouths, turning their collective heads to Claire for a comeback.
"Heh. I'm not the one who lost to this bad trainer, am I? Doesn't that make you even worse?" The Ralts' heads turned towards Lure.
In response, Combee flapped its powerful wings right at Claire's face, the gust slamming right into the trainer. It wasn't enough to hurt her, but it was enough to make her hair a complete mess. The three faces looked up at Claire with a smug smirk. Claire's hair, was now thoroughly messed up. Not that she really minded it getting a bit messy in some otherwise fin activities, but this?
This.
Stupid.
Bug.
She had offered it friendship and fun times, and what does she get? Sadness! Sadness and her fabulous hair messed up! Well fine then. The bug wanted to give her sadness, she'd give sadness in return! Claire picked up the bug type...and threw it at a tree, causing the Combee to smack into it at high speed.
"Bee-!" Upon hitting it, the Combee turned back around, and tackled Claire right in the face. The redhead pulled it off of her, and repeated the process of throwing it. This entire thing went on for about five minutes, with Ralia simply munching on a berry and watching, quite amused with the turn of events. After several minutes of this, both Claire and Lure wondered back over looking a bit roughed up. Claire's hair was a mess, and she was fairly sure she had honey smeared on parts of her body, especially her hair. Lure made a special point of messing up her hair. The combee, despite having a potion used on it prior to this little fight looked like it might have taken a bit of damage. A few dirt marks covered her body, and she looked a bit unsteady on her feet.
"Don't. Say. Anything." Claire looked over at Ralia, whose little audience of Ralts was doing their best not to laugh. Lure wore an expression that seemed to say 'I am so over this bullshit' and pressed the button on its pokeball, decided to be done with this. Claire looked back over at Delphox. There was still one more pokemon she wanted to get here, but she wasn't sure whether she should pursue it or not. With Ralia injured as she was, and with Ritz still being roughed up from his fight and with Lure being...well. No way in hell was she gonna use that thing unless she had too.
"So uh, you wouldn't have happened to KO all the Weedles, would ya?" She asked the Delphox, taking a look around the place. It seemed like most of the high level pokemon had been completely taken care of or had fled.
