Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

~Odette Billeaud~

@TheHangedMan@Hammerman

"O-dette..." She replied quietly to Lily's question about her name. Odette simply stared at Lily's hand, knowing full well she should shake it but she found it difficult to actually move. After a few silent, somewhat awkward seconds the ghost managed to raise her arm in a very stiff fashion and take Lily's hand. Her grip was cool, and her grip wasn't particularly strong unlike the dragons probable strength. Right. Now all she had to do was shake the dragons hand. Shouldn't be to hard, the nervous feeling in her non-existent stomach would no rule her! After a few awkward seconds, the ghost managed to finally shake the dragons hand.

Except, instead of her hand she overshot her goal and started moving her whole arm. As soon as the 'handshake' was over with, Odette released the dragon and looked towards the ground again, realizing she had probably just acted a tad bit silly once again. She didn't feel like lingering here or on the possible subject of her rather inept social abilities with someone she had just met.

"D-dorms?..." She looked up with her usual expression towards Lily. She didn't really need to sleep, nor did she exactly have any sort of luggage but it'd be nice to have somewhere to...well, relax a bit.
@Marshall

Hmm...that's rather depressing news.

I would ask if we need seven people specifically? We seem to have a fairly eager group here and it'd be a shame to let this die so easily.

~Charlotte LaChance~

Charlotte blinked, quite surprised Cait had lashed out at her in such a manner. Okay, so, maybe yes she could have worded her sentence a bit more carefully and acted a bit 'nicer' but that would simply be sugar coating things. Why should she be nice to someone she didn't even like all that much? Granted, she had mixed feelings about Cait's company in general. Perhaps she could work up the effort to be at least a little less...hostile in the future. Right now though, she didn't feel like it. For the moment, Charlotte just coolly glared at Cait in her usual fashion and answered her question first.

"Hah. I'll smile when there's something to smile about." Charlotte replied, standing up from the cot. It was mostly just her, though. She had a tendency to not smile about anything at all, except when she was doing research or felt particularly proud about something she had made. "And it doesn't hurt," Charlotte continued with a dismissive huff. She folded her arms, looking down at Cait. "There's just no need to relay useless and irrelevant information. All you need to know is that I came from far away, and I am never going back." Her tone was as serious as ever as she spoke.

"And if you're going to get upset over the way someone speaks, then you must not have talked to many people. If you're going to keep doing it, then you can kindly leave me alone."
@Polaris North

Lol. Lia. Cooking. You realize she doesn't need to eat and has never cooked a day in her life. Pretty sure anything that she cooked would end up still moving xD

@Marshall

And if we don't get two more people? Don't mean to sound particularly pessimistic, but the Int. Check has been up for over a week. Might not get too many more people.

Putting the OOC up might attract a few more, but eh.

~Charlotte LaChance~

"Food? No," Charlotte replied with a scoff. "We have an entire floor dedicated to both growing food, as well as breeding livestock." She swirled the solution around, with a cleaned, wooden stirrer she crafted causing it to bubble slightly before letting it sit in a corner of the desk by itself. Really, this was not a conversation she wanted to have with the native. Naivety was bliss, as some might say at the tower. It was...refreshing, really, as somewhat annoying as it was.

"A shortage of food isn't such a silly motivation. There hasn't been famine in the tower for...well, not since the Grand Deacon Astril." She commented, walking away from the table and past Cait and towards the small cot she made for herself. Besides, she was sorely misunderstanding the sorts of things that went on at the tower. They didn't exactly kill each other, not, even that was a bit of a taboo to kill a colleague. Them dying in the name of 'research' though, was perfectly acceptable. And to those outside the tower...well. A lot of things happened in the name of research.

"Now, unless you have any other inane questions about things I don't feel like explaining," She said, once again not elaborating on exactly what caused them to 'kill' each other. "Perhaps you can actually be of use for once."
@papershuriken

Hmm

If it's just going to be a mostly slice of life thing I am unsure if I'll stick around, but eh...I'll have to see exactly to what degree battling would still be a thing.
Speaking of people not posting...

I need to do that still.

I'll get to it tomorrow.
@Polaris North

It'll happen once she warms up to people a bit. Or at least, after they find out she's not just a normal elf xD

She's probably gonna be a bit reserved, or at least remain at a bit of a distance from everyone until then considering her history.
~Livia~

"And I can assure you once again, you will never have the power to do so." Livia smirked, closing the large box of magically kept ice. "Not unless you are willing to do something quite dangerous that I wouldn't even recommend doing, but I digress." She accidentally let something about her and Myrilla slip. That was something she was hoping to keep from mostly everyone, considering the fact she mostly hated the damnable demon.

"...my relationship with Myrilla is my own. Although, everyone has had a teacher in their lives. Some multiple. I'll leave it at that." Livia said with a sigh. "Although, to be honest there was much less teaching going on than I liked at the time, but that is irrelevant, and quit trying to bring up rather unpleasant points about my history, hm?" With a small smirk Livia walked over to Katherine, giving her a hard swat on the butt as she walked past. "Or I'll have to discipline you, my precious little student. Now," She moved to a table. "You are quite correct. My time will remain short. I honestly tire of all of this...problem solving and trying to stop the church, the mage council, demons, and angels from trying to constantly kill each other and keep us humans from suffering any consequences of both."

She turned to face Katherine.

"Honestly, I want a permanent vacation from all of this. Now would be as good of a time as any I suppose, though it would be quite...distressing to leave Fia behind. Not to mention letting Myrilla do whatever she wants, the church likely would take the chance to try and get more power and those pompous fools on the council messing everything up." Livia gave Katherine a serious look. "If I wanted too, I could move my soul into this artificial body - this homunculous. It currently lacks a soul and it'd be easy enough to move in with your help." Livia sighed tiredly. "I do not wish to do it now, but when the time comes I expect you to be ready. That is all. We can discuss more details when it inevitably happens."

~Selvinia & Co~

The man seemed relieved, letting out a sigh that he seemed to have been holding in before motioning for them to head inside.

Once inside the residence, it was exceedingly clear this place was nothing like Sappho. Inside the building, it was much warmer than it was outside. Sheltered from the wind, and the crackling of a fireplace could be heard. The entire building was made of wood, and seemed to have none of the amenities or other such things. It was quite likely it was the norm all the way out here, and the rest of the village didn't have such things either. The older gentleman led them to a rough wooden table near a fireplace in the main part of the house. Over the fireplace, was a large iron pot where a stew was bubbling away. He motioned for them to sit, himself taking a seat in a chair next to the fire, turning it to face the table.

Lyssa took a seat near one of the ends of it, glad to be out of the cold.

"Wow, this place is pretty rustic." She commented. "Haven't seen a place like this except in purga-erm, countryside!~" She giggled. Well, at least she was still trying to keep her identity secret. As much good as that'd do. "It's nice though. Hey hey, Swen, ask him if there's any sweets around here." She also still apparently had a one track mind.

"You...are 'sorcerers'?"

He asked simply.

The group could answer his question if they wanted.
Perhaps they could simply walk out and find their way up the mountain themselves? The older man didn't seem particularly fond of them, despite remaining mostly Civil.
Maybe talking with him could warm him up to the group a bit?
They could even lie, if they wanted.
@Landaus Five-One

I mean

If it doesn't seem strange.

You'll be Lia's favorite person and at the same time you might wanna go get checked because being weirded out would be most peoples response xD
