I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
Name: Kohana Age: appears around 18, though she never gives a straight answer if asked directly. Gender: Female Race: Former Kitsune, Reincarnated as a Devil.
Ranking: Queen As a Tsumiki's Queen, Kohana has the combined abilities of Rooks, Knights, and Bishops. This gives her a fairly large range of abilities, as well as makes her a fairly strong powerhouse in regards to both magic and physical abilities. While she still has a good bit to learn in all areas, she's no slouch in battle even if she has a natural tendency to be a slacker.
Appearance: Standing at a fairly tall five foot seven, Kohana typically has long, messy black hair that is quite unkempt. She usually sports facial expressions ranging from 'pissed off dragon' to 'taciturn oni' or otherwise passive, neutral expression. She has bright, emerald green eyes with animalistic pupils that are typically arranged into a small glare or otherwise not too friendly or neutral expression. Her skin is a healthy fair color, free of most blemishes and markings that would draw quite a bit of envy from most others. Her body is fairly slender and athletic in build.
As far as clothing goes...well, she's not exactly a fan of looking her best. Typically, she wears loose fitting clothing, and doesn't even make an effort to adjust her school uniform to be up to standard. She hardly makes an effort to dress herself, and often has to have her butt (quite literally) kicked into gear by someone. When simply lounging around the house her clothing most often isn't exactly always covering her important bits.
Her left ear has a small piercing sporting a rather mundane looking earring, and her ears and three fluffy tails are typically kept unseen when among other humans. She seems rather fond of the earring. Perhaps it has some meaning to her.
Skills: Kohana, despite her rather lax nature in training and other things is quite physically adept - perhaps a bit surprising for a Kitsune. She is adept at a variety of martial arts, though has spent most of her time practicing using a Glaive and other similar pole-arm weapons, and sports physical strength some might find surprising, though nowhere near the offensive powers that would be granted to a Rook. Has shown some interest in learning Lightning magic, but has made no effort to actually learn it.
Outside of combat related skills, Kohana has surprisingly few skills, save perhaps...sewing and dancing of all things. She won't comment where she picked these up, and does not actively practice it them front of others. She dabbles in video games and computery stuff, and can often be found playing various things from the human world if she's slacking off.
Sacred Gear: N/A As a Youkai and a demon, she is incapable of possessing one.
Magic: Fox-Fire As a nine-tailed fox, Kohana possesses great control over fire. However, she is still relatively young for a nine-tailed, and its power is definitely not up to snuff as it could be considering her rather lax nature when it comes to pretty much everything. That said, it's still not something one should take lightly. She has a lot of raw power as well as a surprising amount of control thanks to her nature as a Youkai and as Tsumiki's Queen. She typically uses this in conjunction with her Glaive, as well as surprise long range attacks or otherwise harassing a target from a distance if need be. Her favorite usage of it though is to either grab someones face and explode it, or impale them and roast them from the inside. She's not a nice little foxy when fighting something.
Youjutsu A technique similar to Illusions used by Youkai. Perhaps it is the influence of the being under the employ of the Asmodeus clan. She has at least, put in minimal effort in trying to understand and use it. As of now, she's managed small scale illusions, but its nothing exactly all that fancy and she doesn't exactly go out of her way to find a teacher or use it. With her nature as the Queen, she could likely easily learn a bit more.
Transformation: A side little power, she can change into a more fox like form though she hardly ever uses it. It offers no bonuses or real advantages, save perhaps intimidation. The form is a bit smaller than what people might expect, but seems to hold incredible agility and offensive ability in line with her Knight Piece.
Flight: As a demon, flight is of course something she is capable of, and she makes fairly good use of this ability in conjunction with her Knight-class speed and mobility.
Strengths: - Kohana's nature as a Queen, grants her almost unparalleled control over both Magical pursuits, as well as Physical ones. With glaive in hand, and foxfire at her command she boasts strong physical prowess, agility, and strength with a strong affinity for magic. This makes her a fairly strong opponent in all areas, and if motivated means she has very few weaknesses.
- Surprisingly, Kohana is a relatively fast learner when she puts her mind to something, picking up on certain things much faster than people would think of the slacker. This extends to learning things, as well as people and certain body language from people. She doesn't really use this often, but she watches people a lot - and after a certain amount of time you tend to be able to pick up on things, and extends to simply having a bit of a knack for what people could be thinking.
- While a bit of a grump and doesn't particularly like helping out in a fight or any sort of large amount of physical work, when she does do it, she does it surprisingly well. She's fairly level headed in fights, if a bit ruthless and tends to always act with a measure of caution tempered with decisiveness. Meaning, she will be perhaps wary of a foes abilities and will act with some caution, but if an opportunity to end a conflict presents itself she will take it - as long as it is only met with a possible reasonable amount of danger.
- Fairly intelligent about a number of subjects, spent from studying whilst practicing her physical pursuits. Perhaps not exactly a talent that could directly help in combat, knowledge of thy enemy is always a good thing to have.
Weaknesses: - Above all, the most detrimental thing to Kohana is that she's a huge, unmotivated slacker and will always take the easy way out of work and things. She has almost zero motivation to do anything aside from sleep, drink massive amounts of alcohol or soda and laze around all day. This of course, has the rather unfortunate effect of also affecting her training and abilities. She's far, far, from what she could be and she doesn't seem to particularly care. It also causes her peerage no end of headaches.
- Drinking problem. You can almost 100% be sure, she has had alcohol in the last hour despite her young age and the fact she isn't even old enough to legally buy it, but what are funny human laws to a devil? While she doesn't get black-out drunk, you can be certain she's always at least a little on the buzzed side. This doesn't exactly translate well to combat situations at times. Though at times, it could help? Maybe. She doesn't really care. Someone could possibly help her kick the habit.
- While it is true she is a Queen, and thusly should be fairly skilled with magic, she tends to prefer a more close combat role. Yes, her foxfire is something to be reckoned with, and is quite powerful but at the moment that and her small feats of Youjutsu are really her only forms of magic at the moment. She's going to need to be taught the finer intricacies, but one must make sure that she is appropriately interested in such things first otherwise its gonna go in one fluffy ear and out the other.
- Doesn't really get motivated to fight a lot, and can at times let it get in the way of her performance. Finds it tiring and rather troublesome and would much rather be doing something else. Fortunately, if her assistance is absolutely required, she will give it and you can expect her to give it her all if its of a matter of loyalty to Tsumiki and her peerage. All tsumiki has to really do, is give the word.
Personality: To put short, Kohana is a grumpy, cynical, sarcastic vixen that really doesn't like people. She tends to view most people as selfish fools who do nothing but follow their own desires, though she isn't really much better in that regard. A reliable, but eternally snarky and sarcastic person. She may be lazy, but knows when she has to put effort into something, and will do it to the best of her ability.
More in depth, yes, she is grumpy, cynical, and a bit sarcastic, but it's because she's become rather...disillusioned with the world, especially humans and a bit with herself. She's simply given up caring about them and it's had a rather obvious effect on her personality to what it is today. She finds it difficult to truly care about a lot of things, even those in her peerage.
Spend enough time around her and getting past that rough exterior though, you'll find a surprisingly fairly friendly, if somewhat serious and intelligent person. She doesn't put up with a lot of bullshit and has a low tolerance for shenanigans of any sort. Once she sets her mind on the decision to do something, she can be rather motivated and tends to carry it out until she's done. If she's in a particularly good mood, one might find a somewhat playful and much more amicable person, but she's never happy really.
Despite her personality and grump, she does definitely have a great deal of respect, and perhaps even admiration for Tsumiki. He took a delinquent, gave her a chance and made her a Queen. She still somewhat struggles with the newfound responsibility, and at times doesn't think she's good enough for it but hey, That's what the alcohol is for.
History: Kohana's fairly young for a Kitsune, that much is fairly evident from her appearance. Once upon a time, she lived with her mother and father. That said, she's always had a bit of a chip on her shoulder, but it wasn't really anything too bad. She spent a lot of her early days doing a number of things people wouldn't expect of the current Kohana - training with both pole-arm, fox fire and other martial pursuits. Why? She absolutely loved it. Contests of skill, and what not, and bettering oneself. She was skilled to be sure, and she absolutely loved going toe-to-toe with other humans.
Unfortunately, that love for such things quickly turned into frustration. While she was skilled in certain areas - she could never really grasp the finer concepts of it. Plus, she started losing more than winning. While fine at first, this behavior quickly became rather grating on her nerves, as well as putting some distance between herself and her peers. She started, withdrawing from them and eventually started slacking in her training.
Afterwards, she quit practicing altogether and started getting along well with some delinquents from a nearby school, quickly naming herself their little leader after thrashing the last guy. For a year or so, she was a pretty terrible force to be reckoned with, and could be considered your stereotypical delinquent - except a lot worse kinda since she actively picked on some of the younger kids.
It was then a number of kids she had been picking on decided to do something about it. One of the old humans she used to practice with in the dojo got word of her shenanigans and decided to do something about it. They met, they fought, and she almost died because she didn't know when to quit, even when she was half beaten to death.
Tsumiki managed to find her somehow, and offered her a chance. She didn't really fancy dying, and after being somewhat humbled a bit she's reigned in her less destructive tendencies, though she still has a drinking and motivational problem. She's at least, managed to show some respect towards Tsumiki and is about loyal to him as someone could be.
Other: Definitely Akeno. Probably. It's been awhile.
Likes Rap and Jazz music, and can often be found listening to it. If you even think about petting her, so help you god, she will do not so nice things to you.
The glaive she uses most often, is a simple, but extremely well forged piece of equipment.
Drunken queen that will smack people that annoy her with the end of her glaive for giggles xD
But yeah, I think that's the best I can do. It's kind of hard to really balance something that basically has all the benefits of the other pieces, and none of the drawbacks. Well, any that couldn't be corrected in time and a little bit of encouragement at least xD
For the most part, training went well! Ralia didn't have much problem at all with the wild pokemon. Claire decided to give her a bit of training with all the types, rather than just focusing on the budews. Had to have well-rounded experience, after all! Couldn't just fight what you were strong against or you'd never get anything good from battling. She got roughed up a little bit, but for the most part she didn't take much damage at all.
The three bugs though, had a bit of a problem, especially with the Pidoves. They were nowhere near ready to fight flying types, considering the disadvantage they had, and Zigzagoons would likely tire them down pretty badly after a few wild ones. That left the Budews. Del and Ritz worked together pretty well taking them down. Del using String Shot to slow them down and make their already lacking attacks to give Ritz a good shot at getting a good tackle in. Lure proved to be a bit easier and more troublesome to train. The little bug didn't listen to Claire at all, and instead took to just gusting every single budew she saw. It worked out in the end, but the fact that she also shot a few at Claire just for seeming giggles made the redhead a bit miffed.
Oh, not to mention she wasn't sharing the honey. Rude.
"Waha, you guys did great!" Claire said from where she was kneeling, giving all of her pokemon an affectionate petting on the head. "We'll be top-tier trainers in no time! Heh, we'll take a rest for a bit and get back to it." The three good little pokemon - Del, Ritz, and Ralia seeming quite happy with the praise. Lure wasn't paying much attention, though. That was fine. Claire had decided that she'd leave the bug alone for now. As the team took a quick break, Claire stretched, doing a few warm up exercises. She had to stay in top shape too, after all. Couldn't just let her pokemon have all the fun.
While she was doing that, Ralia seemed to take notice of a Zigzagoon in a bit of a...hurry? It seemed like it was. It also seemed like it was carrying something pretty good on it. Walking over to Claire, the small pokemon tugged on the redheads pants, and pointed over to it.
"Eeeh?" The moment she looked, the pokemon bolted. That was about as much incentive as Claire needed to run after it. "After that Zigzagoon!" She saw that shiny thing it was carrying, and she was gonna nab it! She scooped up Ralia, who just managed to grab Del so the little bug wouldn't get left behind in Claire's haste. Ritz zoomed off after Claire as well while Lure just lazily floated after them. The redhead dashed after the Zigzagoon, following it into the complex of abandoned buildings.
As she waited, a number of other people made their way into the room. So many fluffy things in her presence! Eee, she just wanted to hug and pet them all! Especially the one with the fluffy tails! So cute! She looked so frightened though! Why? Lia tilted her head to the side, trying to figure out how to help. Being scared was no good! It tugged on her heart strings to see something so cute so frightened, so to speak. You know, if she had any heartstrings to tug on.
Well.
Lia had to be a good Samaritan here and help!
Ah...wait. But she was so far away and she didn't really want to get up. So, she'd settle for giving the cute fox lady an encouraging thumbs up! There, that would be good! She just needed a little confidence, is all! She was maybe scared of the cat man but he was cute and fluffy too! No way this 'Ramm' couldn't be good! Lia forgot to take into account Marissa's eyes were completely closed, thus her encouragement would likely be wholly ineffective.
Now, onto business...spooky man made something appear in front of her. A little box, and he wanted something called her 'Bloodmark' Hrm. Slight problem. She didn't exactly have a whole lot of the delicious red substance to go around. Those little iron spikes wouldn't really be enough to get a good amount of blood out of her.
Hmm~
Reaching into her cloak, she pulled out one of her knives. The weapon was simple, but long, sharp and fairly well crafted and lightweight. Perhaps not heavy enough to really punch through heavier defenses, but with fleshy things it could easily ruin the entire rest of their soon to be short lives. She spun the knife in her fingers, playing with it as she reached over with her other hand, starting to read the contract and making sure to give it a surprisingly thorough look over. Always make sure to read the fine print, otherwise you might get cheated out of money! That was no good, and not nice.
Not nice people deserved to be put to sleep for a while.
Seeing nothing too out of the ordinary with the contract though, Lia decided it was acceptable.
With surprising swiftness and suddenness, she grabbed the end of the knife and nearly cut the thumb on her other hand completely off in a motion that some might have mistaken for an accident. Lia didn't seem to be too bothered by it, she didn't even flinch nor seemingly care about who might have been thoroughly shocked by the action. She placed the knife on the table, getting a good coating of blood on the other thumb before placing the seal on the contract.
"Hey hey, shady magic hand man," She turned her head to the masked man with a light, somewhat childish giggle, using the hand that still had its thumb still attached to hide the dagger somewhere back under her cloak. "Signed and sealed!" The thumb that had nearly been severed didn't seem to be bleeding much at all, and as Lia finished signing it the Elf reached into her cloak and pulled out a small needle and thread, starting to work on patching herself back up.
@Demon Shinobi Alright changed her up a bit! Just some skills in regards to her strengths, personality, and history a bit.
And if you like the other version better, just say so. I don't really care either way, I'll have fun with either of these versions xD
And if you need a Queen, I might as well say I wouldn't mind bumping this version of Kohana up from Knight, if you want. I think it'd suit this personality better than her more delinquent one, at least. Would have to re-work her strengths and weaknesses a bit again, but that's not a problem.
As well, I'd agree with Hanged. I think Tsumiki is fine as he is to be honest.
“Urgh. It's not even noon yet. Lemme sleep.”
