Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

It seemed, that her so called allies could do something decently competent after all. Eventually, the sound of combat dwindled as the corrupted souls fell. Soon enough the pain that wracked her body dulled with each passing second, becoming a dull throb as whatever small amount of corruption she had taken halted its spread. Even so, she could still feel it. The corruption, lingering just under her skin. The blackened flesh a grim, permanent, reminder of the wound. She had to wonder, this corruption...this sickness...could it be healed? Cleansed? If it was a simple physical ailment, then logic would dictate it could be cured in some fashion.

...She brushed the familiar seeming thoughts from her mind as she enjoyed the silence in the room, aside from the movement of her allies. She had some very stern words for them once she was rested - especially that foolish anchor wielding moron who's impatience and negligence was the cause of this entire scuffle. Soon enough, the pain dulled to a tolerable level. Isabella pushed herself to a sitting position with a pained grunt.

Rest was over, though.

There was a soul shattering shriek from somewhere down the hallway. The loud voice echoed in the chamber, the wail from the creature filling her with a certain sense of dread. Whatever it was, it was not a friendly...and if there were more of those cultists, then there was no way they wouldn't have heard it. Very certainly, they would be beset by more of those creatures. Her eyes darted towards the nameless anchorman again, mouth turning into a frown, but now wasn't the time for internal conflicts among the group. If she was going to get out of here alive, she'd at least need to keep her head down.

Her thoughts were interrupted by loud gunfire again, causing her to wince in pain as her ears were still recovering somewhat from the last blast. The loud noise caused her body to tremble slightly, but it wasn't anything compared to whatever she had just overcome. The redhead gave a low grunt, pushing herself to her feet with the aid of her sword, still panting slightly as a familiar voice met her ears.

"This way was no good either... I only managed to escape...I cannot continue... I was foolish... This journey cannot be made on the strength of one alone. I learned this too late...Now go, finish our task! With whatever strength I have left, I will buy you time..."

Her eyes widened at the sight of him. What was his name...Ezain? He had disappeared during the fight. She had thought him dead, but it seemed she wasn't too far off from that assumption. Curses. Damnable, curses! Of all the casualties, at least take the anchorman for his irredeemable stupidity in this situation. Still, she wouldn't let this sacrifice of his be in vain.

"I can walk." Isabella replied wearily, the sound of loud moans and the snarls of the forsaken, blighted souls became louder. No doubt about it - they were converging on their position. "We should get out of here." She turned her head towards the others briefly. "If any of you still have a desire to live and not waste your life on needless conflict, then head down the eastern passage! We can not hold this position!" Isabella reached behind her head, pulling the dark, gold trimmed hood over her head. "Take the lead." She spoke to the shield bearer. "Whatever I did took its toll. I'll help if I can, but our priority should be finding some place where we can rest safely for a bit and consider our options. Keep a quick pace, but don't run head first into the mouth of some beast. I'll keep up, don't worry. I've...had worse."

After their initial greeting, Impmon and Rachel made their way towards the tamers Bureau. In silence, for the most part, aside from teh grumblings of Impmon as the small imp digimon rubbed his cheeks after they were assaulted by a certain deadpan human. Still, the imp didn't seem to mind too much. It didn't take them long to get to the Bureau, Impmon confidently walking in front of Rachel as the two seemed to be the second pair to arrive.

"Howdy Yumenko. Tinkermon." Impmon cheerfully greeted in response to Yumeko's comment about them not showing up. "And don't you worry, I convinced this layabout to get off her butt."

"...I can leave though." Rachel commented, fixing Yumeko with her normal passive, half asleep expression.

"No you can't, and no you're not." The digimon grumbled. "Bah, whoda'thunk I'd have to be the responsible one around here." Rachel simply shifted her gaze over to Arukenimon who was walking over to her with a set of pants. The human tilted her head slightly to the side, and in the most serious tone she could muster replied to the digimon.

"...I can take the pants off if you want."

The redhead, followed by the odd fish digimon made their way swiftly through the digital world to the appointed meeting place. Swimmon seemed to be having trouble keeping up with the redhead however. The digimon was wobbling slightly as it zipped through the air, trying to get Kameo to slow down but the human wasn't having any of it. Kameo if nothing, had lots of energy to spare. Even so, with their pace it seemed like they were the last group to show up - and Kameo happened to walk in at just the right time.

"Who's taken who's pants off now?" She giggled brightly as she walked into the room. "AH! Hey, it's the other tamers." The redhead grinned brightly, immediately running over to Rachel and giving her a bright greeting. "Hey, what's with that sleepy expression of yours?" Kameo questioned. "Have a little more energy!" She gave Rachel a friendly punch on the shoulder, the other girls expression not changing in the slightest. "Ah, I'm Kameo! Nice to meet both of ya!" She said, turning to Yumeko and giving her a grin. "The silly fish over there's Swimmon."

"P-pleasure to meet you. I apologize for Kameo. She's a little...over exuberant." The fish replied, trying to catch its breath after feeling like it swam an entire marathon to get here.

"Pfft, you just are under exuberant."

As the battle raged on with the Froakie and Conkeldurr, the bug type and psychic type seemed to take a moment to take a breather. The Ralts seemed to talk to Combee quickly. The bug replied sharply, in its usual snarky and slightly antagonistic tone. Combee seemed to mostly ignore whatever it was that the Ralts was saying to start with, causing the other pokemon to frown and give the bug type a small swat on the top of its head. The bug looked to Conkeldurr, and then towards Claire, and back towards Ralia one last time.

"You're doing good, Froakie!" As for Claire, there wasn't much she could do. "Come on, I know you can do it!" She saw Froakies own abilities back at the shrine - the little frog was a fighter at least. That much she knew, but things were looking fairly bad as far as their winning chances went still. Froakie couldn't dodge forever, and there wasn't much in the way she had of firepower now. "Alright, just dodge him again Froakie." Just as the Conkeldurr would have made another move towards Froakie, a powerful blast of wind was launched in his direction from Lure.

"L-lure!?" Claire's attention immediately shifted towards the bug type who still had Ralia perched on her head. Ralia herself seemed to be charging a confusion attack. Claire simply sighed, laughing lightly with a bright grin. "Well...alright then! Lure! Stay out of his attack range with Ralia and hit him with as powerful gusts as your little wings can manage! Ralia, just chain as many Confusions together as you can!"

Froakie is told to dodge
Ralia attacks with confusions from on top of Lure - will prep a teleport if conkeldurr targets them.
Lure blasts Conkeldurr with some more gusts from some distance away - will attempt dodging if he attacks her or gets close.

"R-right...okay, first things first. Need to find the tear." Miren frowned, fumbling with her items as she left the shop. In her hand, was a small rod of some sort that was decorated with a number of different crystals of various sizes and shapes. It was a rod of sorts - able to detect strong sources of mana. Miren fumbled with it, pointing it in a few different directions before the crystals glowed dully.

"R-right, this way!" Miren hopped in the direction the rod told her to travel in. Eith followed behind, and the two of them made fairly good progress and were only eventually halted by a group of a few undead that were right in their path.

"OOh, ice play. That's new." The pumpkin replied. "Gotta admit, this is new. Heh, maybe I should do something like this with Kozue..." It didn't seem like Ayumi was going to be taking this 'punishment' too seriously. Cynthia herself simply frowned, observing the ninja with a passive expression.

"You must teach disobedient children harshly." She said, walking over to Ayumi.

"...Hey there, maid. Punishment time?~" Cynthia simply remained silent, observing the pumpkin silently for a moment, giving the ninja a completely emotionless stare. A few uneasy seconds passed. "...uh, don't mind being stared at but what are you-" Cynthia suddenly grabbed the pumpkin by the head. "Ow ow, hey watch the goods!" Before she could say anything else, Cynthia delivered a swift uppercut right into the pumpkins face.

The force of the blow combined with her wind magic, made a small localized whirlwind that dislodged the mask from her head, and sent her and it flying right through the air.

"Gah! I'm a pumpkin! Pumpkins can't flyyyyyy!"

"...shall we go back to the dance are, my sweet?" Cynthia turned her head towards Mugi as she asked the question.

"Aw...for me?" Marie observed the glass of wine with a small smile. "You don't expect me to drink this, do you?" Marie sighed, sniff lightly as she touched the glass and placed it on a nearby desk. Instead, she walked over to a desk in the room. "Hmm...she always keeps some for us around here somewhere....ah, here we are!" Marie pulled out a large glass bottle - it was darkly colored, the label on it was completely torn off and the liquid inside was some dark shade of red.

"Eheh~" The silver haired girl walked over to the bed, sitting on the edge of it and pouting the contents of the bottle into an empty wine glass. "Much better, than that cheap human stuff." Marie pressed her lips to the glass, taking an appreciative sip of the red liquid. It smelled vaguely of apples.

"Hmm...to answer your question though, pet, I am what you might call...a princess of sorts." She smirked. "Allow me to fully introduce myself. Lucia Marie - Heir to the throne of Pride...well, as soon as my mom croaks." The demon inched closer to Maoin, giving her a predatory grin.

Upon being called 'not adorable' by Kozue, She released the priestess, jumping back a few paces as she wore a seemingly offended look.

"H-hey! I am innocent and adorable! Just because my mom is literally Satan and my dad is a Minotaur Warlord don't mean I can't be innocent and adorable!" The demon seemed to forgot entirely about fighting Kozue, and instead gave the human a pout, puffing out her cheeks slightly as she took a decidedly non-threatening stance.

Before either of them could do anything else, there was a familiar voice shout from above.

"Catchmecatchmecatchmekozuepllllleaseoryouknowdon'tbecasueI'dtotallybeintoit!" It seemed the trajectory of the blast sent the ninja and her mask falling right on top of Kozue.

Heyo, friend. Not to sound like I'm trying to hurry you or anything, but you gonna reply to the elf anytime soon?
@Spanner

I think it's @BurningDaisies at this point. Or a GM in general to at least describe things. Suppose we could do that ourselves, though, if no one minds too much.
Welp, have a post. Isabella rests and hopes her allies actually can do a thing against two people.

The blade struck true. The head of the cumbersome weapon slammed into the ceiling, immediately cracking the old ceiling. The rocks splintered and cracked, chunks of stone falling from the ceiling and falling to the floor. Success, then! Isabella only had a moment to take in her success as she felt something...change, inside of her. The sheer strength of the blow felt like it was sapping something...something important from inside of her. She had no idea what it was, but in the next instant all she could feel was pain.

"Ah..." As the roof of the hallway began to collapse, the redhead swayed subtly where she stood. "Seems I've over exerted myself...heh..." She didn't even get to see the satisfaction of those cursed things be crushed by her actions. It used the rest of her strength merely to keep herself standing, legs shaking and breath ragged from the exertion as her entire world was engulfed with nothing but pain. Her vision blurred as the black corruption creeped down her arm like some sort of itch that wouldn't go away, mixing evenly with intense, mind numbing pain threatening to knock her unconscious. Her lugs felt like they were filled with something, something that forced the very breath out of her as though she were drowning.

When the blade recoiled, the heavy thing returning to its master, she couldn't keep herself upright. She was knocked flat off her feet from the recoil, hands locked tightly around the weapons hilt as if it was the only thing keeping her alive at the moment. Isabella fell onto her side, barely able to move as she breathed, sweating from the exertion of merely attempting to be able to stay conscious. She could hear it though - the path began to crumble. Rocks fell, there were shouts from the blighted - the wails of the damned souls were like music to her ears.

A small comfort in her current delirium. It sounded like some sort of sweet siren song as she focused on it, trying to at least keep herself conscious, even doing the smallest thing she could do to crawl out of the passages crumbling area but she couldn't force herself to keep moving. Whatever strength she summoned, came at a great price and she wasn't so foolish enough to attempt something like this again in her current condition.

"No! Catch them! Don't let the mark-bearers escap-"

Isabella smirked, a pained grimace overcoming her features quickly as her entire body trembled lightly in pain. The pain itself, was intoxicating in a way, though. It at least let her know she was still indeed, alive and conscious. Heh, at least, in the end, she'd get the last laugh on these guys, if she was crushed. She laid there for a second - feeling something crawling on her leg as the ceiling collapsed...but passed it off as nothing more than pained delirium for now.

It seemed though, fate once again deemed she would cheat death again. One of her comrades actually had half a mind to pull her out of this. In the back of her pain-wracked mind, she was incredibly grateful. Whoever it was, Isabella had determined to be the best one of the lot so far. All she could see, was a bright red light as she felt an arm slip around her waist, pull her to her shaking feet. She let herself be dragged by whoever this person was, doing her best to try and help them. Once she was finally released, and allowed to rest. She rolled over onto her back, pained, ragged breaths still coming from her lungs, though her vision had started to clear and she turned her eyes to look at whoever it was that had the decency to at least be more than half competent.

"I...don't know who you are," She wheezed out. The redhead didn't recognize this one. No matter she supposed. "Heh, but...thanks." She coughed, the creeping feeling on her arm causing her no small amount of discomfort. Now all that was left was for the others to deal with the other two...and they could finally get a move on. Maybe they would finally have some respect for her opinion after this.

Fools.

The weighty sword in her hand was still being clung too as her body still shivered with pain. For a moment, she closed her eyes and just tried to steady her breathing.

Ever since leaving the digital world, Rachel hadn't paid it much mind. That said - Impmons company was...tolerable. Nice, even. Since she was left alone so much it was a pleasant distraction to have some sort of company. Not that she'd tell the digimon that, no. For the most part she and Impmon traded back and forth pranks and discussed various topics of programs and stuff. Not that Impmon really understood most of the time, but it was funny to watch him try and flub his way through explaining something.

At the moment though, she was currently just lazing about on the internet and streamlining some code for a project.

"Hey, partner!" Impmons voice reached her through the digivice. Of course, Rachel responded with her usual silence. She wasn't much of a talker, after all. "What'cha up to? You still doing some of that...computer stuff?" Rachel placed the digivice on the desk next to her keyboard, making a few loud taps on the desk with her finger. "I'll take that as a yes. Hey, any news from that spider?" the moment he asked, an email popped up in her inbox.

"...hmm." Rachel audibly hummed, in a slightly annoyed seeming fashion. It was requesting her presence in the world again. On one hand, it sounded annoying and tiring. On the other had...well, it had been somewhat entertaining. Playing hero and stuff, even if they hadn't entirely succeeded at their objective.

"Hey, was that an email? That's some weird timin' there, partner." The digimon commented. In the short time since their first little adventure, the digimon had at least gotten somewhat better at reading Rachel's small shifts in expression and tone of voice. "Get yer butt over here then!" Rachel sighed contemplatively, pressing a few buttons on the device. "I ain't takin no for an answer, cowgirl! Get in here or so help me I'll fill your inbox with tons of spam pictures of my pretty mug!"

...ugh, that'd be annoying. With a sigh and an eye roll, Rachel picked up the device, about to open it before she remembered once again, she was not wearing any pants - so she put some on before leaving.

Rachel was plopped down in the digital world in a much more graceful fashion than last time. Impmon of course, next to her.

"Howdy, there partner!" Impmon walked up next to her. "Glad ya decided to stick around!" Before he could say much else, it seemed he still hadn't learned his lesson. Rachel picked him up by his head, pulling on his cheeks, making the digimons face contort somewhat comically.

"....if you're going to spam the inbox, I want a funny face."

~Kameo Hale~

"Aaah...nothing like a quick swim session during your lunch break, heh." The redhead yawned, resting on the surfboard as she floated some distance away from the shoreline. The job in question? Well, she worked at her grandads little beach side restaurant. Great place that she was probably gonna work at the rest of her life. She honestly couldn't imagine herself doing much else, really. Academics and Athletics weren't her thing. Too complicated, both of them. Though, one could argue her hobby of surfing and snorkeling were anything but simple. "Hey hey, swimmon, what are the seas of the digital world like?

"Very...data-y? To put mildly in your words? They're very cool and pleasant! Peaceful, really!" The digivice replied from...in Kameo's swimsuit. "For the last time though, why do I have to be inside of your swimsuit?"

"Pfft, where else would I keep ya while I'm out swimming? Besides, I know lots of other people who'd be totally jealous your basically touching my boobs."

"But I dun wanna be touching anyyyything!" She could see swimmon's face now - all scrunched up and trying not to act like it didn't like it.

"TO bad, here comes a wave!" The redhead in question rolled over on the red and yellow surfboard, ignoring the various protests from the device regarding something about how it was 'super lewd and inappropriate'. Kameo slowly stood as the wave gained speed, and with the skill of someone who's done this their entire life, Kameo rode the wave. To say she was skilled was an understatement - the redhead made it look easy, at least until she lost her balance.

"E-eh?" Before she could question what happened, the surfboard beneath her wavered, and she fell backwards, crashing into the water. Thankfully, the readhead wasn't injured in the slightest. When she surface a few seconds later, she was even laughing about it. The...vibrating in her swimsuit from a certain concerned fish was a little much though.

"Hey hey, cool your water jets Swimmon." Kameo laughed, reaching into her swimsuit and pulling out the red device. "I'm fine, I'm fine."

"Oh good! You humans don't really handle water so well, so I was concerned."

"Bwahaha, not my first wipeout. Won't be my last. At least I didn't get a gallon of water in my ear." Kameo swam over to the surfboard, grabbing onto it and pulling herself atop it. "My breaks over though, so we should get back to the shore. Granddad'll kill me otherwise."

"W-wait at least just carry meeeeee!" Ignoring the fishes' request, Kameo put the device right back where it had been and swam swiftly back to shore. Once there, she carried the board back to the restaurant, carrying the object into the back rooms where her clothes were. She set the board aside, leaning it against the wall and taking the digivice and placing it on a nearby counter.

"Aaaah so glad that's over with...."

"Heh," Kameo simply chuckled as she grabbed her typical attired - white and blue jacket, with some fairly baggy pants and a simple black tank top. "Hey, any Emails from the spider girl yet?" She asked as she pulled her clothes on over her swimsuit. She was going to be heading back out in an hour or so when her shift ended anyways, taking it off was just going to be annoying.

"Ah! It seems you just got one. Arukenimon just sent it."

"Ah! Great, looks like my break is gonna be a looot longer, heh!" she quickly scrambled to pull her clothes on and walk over to her laptop to make sure everything was in order. She grabbed the device, pointed it at the wall and,

"Digital Gate open!" In an instant, she was back in the digital world.

"Kameo!"

As soon as she had been plopped down, a familiar voice greeted her.

"Hey, Swi." Kameo greeted brightly. "Miss me?"

"Technically, we were together the entire time..."

"Pfft, yeah, but, I'm actually physically present now. Kinda."

"E-erm, true. Anyways. I wonder wat Arukenimon wants from us today?"

"No idea! Lets go find out!" Before Swimmon could stop their over eager partner, the fish digimon swam after the redhead, zipping through the air as easily as it likely would have through water.
@Spirit

I think Pinging everyone in the OOC and telling them to get on with their stuff so the day can end would work best. Would likely at least urge people to finish up stuff in a day or two. Get everyone to finish, that is. If there's anything else they wish to do, they could just summarize in their post for the next day, I think.
