Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Hmmm

Open world fantasy, eh?

Why not I'll take a crack at it.

I'll have a character up tomorrow.

"Corpses? You want my corpses? but then whoever would I invite to my tea parties?" Iva replied with a mildly displeased sounding whine. "I suppose I'll have to invite Anu." As they walked, Iva didn't seem to care too much for Gammaton's words. Or at least, he wasn't thinking too deeply about them. He certainly talked like there was some sort of world-ending threat going around, but Iva certainly didn't care too much for such a thing. Trying to get all the gods to cooperate would be like trying to get Hayim to attempt stabbing something.

"Inside." Carefully reading over the terms of the contract. Nothing seemed off about it, and it likely wasn't in Gammaton's nature to lie or deceive. But for now, he had other business to attend too. "Hurry, hurry, the moon shall rise soon." By now they had reached the wall, and Iva led the insect god into the labyrinthine interior. Taking a few turns, he had arrived at the same entrance he used before. A direct connection with the Library. Opening the rift, Iva walked back into the comforting halls of the building, and assuming Gammaton followed the portal closed behind him.

"Now that we're out of that dull cold forest, take a seat anywhere! But only in this room." The room Iva had led Gammaton too was a long hallway. A large dining table, at least with enough seats for a dozen people were out. Several dishes seemed to have already been prepared. At the end of the hallway was a large grey throne made of some sort of stone. With each step, the mortal guise he had taken slipped off, melting into the air as he retook his natural form, and soon he was sitting upon the throne.

"And don't be shy! The food is wonderfully divine." Zhavitri, the small ball of slime it was seemed to take interest in the happenings, rolling into the room to get a good look at the newcomer. "Now...as for what I want from you." The small creature slithered over to Iva, resting at his throne and seemingly trying to nuzzle his leg much like a feline would. The god gave it a brief pat on the head before continuing. "Laws. Rules. A week from today they should one of their own on a Pilgrimage to the wall. Laughably humorous! They've decided that to get my attention they instead should sacrifice one of their own! How wastefully destructive. I should take the entire village and use it as an experiment." Pausing, Iva stood up, unable to remain sitting for long as he walked over to a large object covered with a white sheet.

"But...little La-Zha has changed my mind, hee!" He pulled of the sheet, revealing a painting beneath. It was immaculately done, and seemed to be of a human girl of some sort. A blue and gold dress, embellished brightly. The top part of it had yet to be completed, and for some reason it gave the impression of a meticulous effort. Surprising for the meticulous god. "I will reinforce my divine presence over these humans...and I would like laws to do it. Centered around the pursuit of knowledge and education, without letting pride, greet, or lust for their own power quashing their creativity and drive for it." He picked up a few brushes and a tray full of brightly colored liquid and began applying a few light strokes to the canvas. "Left on their own, they will repeat this incident. I have no desire to redo a dull already complete experiment. So you will make me a set of laws to follow within seven days. Present it to me, and once I set these mortals straight, I will see to helping you in your little endeavor."
Present and accounted for

I'll get to work on a character idea and see about having them up tomorrow~
@Dealdric

Well, lemme put it like this. Iva is likely going to accept Gammaton's deal, and help him.
And then go to Anu and make a deal of his own in private.

Take that information as you will~
...hoho

Well

Dirka beat Iva to the punch to a similar deal with Anu. Haha~

Well this should be interesting when Iva gets around to it.
Isolde

Marwood's words only made her feel marginally better. She was supposed to protect Reina. She was supposed to protect everyone here, that's what she was trained for! That's why she pushed herself! To make sure everyone was safe. If she couldn't protect her best friend, then how could she protect anyone else?

"...Right, sorry." Isolde laughed lightly, hefting her halberd. "First things first. Making sure we help everyone here we can." She couldn't let such thoughts distract her right now. She had to stay focused, help those she could. Her father always told her if real war ever happened, to be prepared for times like this, but...urgh, it hurt more than she thought it would. She just had to focus on the good - believe that everything would turn out alright, in the end.

"I thought I saw a thief running south." She commented, patting Kergin on the neck. "We'll chase after we clean up here." Kicking Kergin into motion, she twirled her Halberd. Barreling down the streets, Kergin made a beeline for the axe wielding fighters. Kergin's heavier steps thudded down the street, roaring menacingly as he made intentions clear.

"Ack! Kergin wait no don't-!" Isolde Did her best to slow down her mount, but the irritable Wyvern wouldn't have it. He slammed his entire body into the first Fighter, causing Isolde to nearly fall out of her saddle at the sudden stop. "Gah, slow down next time!" Not that she seemed to have any problem with Kergin trying to trample both of the fighters. Pulling her Halberd back, she followed through with a wide horizontal swing, hopefully catching him if he was still standing.

She was regretting this quickly.

Hiro and Aerith seemed as though they wanted to go with the fox. Understandable. Those ears and tails really looked like they'd be fun to pet. Ah, she should have stayed with them. She was feeling incredibly self conscious with these new people. Those two boys who were obviously a couple weren't helping. Urgh. So for the most part, Chieko hung towards the back, minding her own business. She didn't fit in with these people. That much was certain. They were all probably just as clueless as everyone else. At least Hiro and Aerith had been...nice...

Following along, Chieko kept her ears open. Jeez, the couple was a talkative bunch. She supposed it was understandable and good, but she couldn't help but to feel they should be a little more tight lipped on what happened. Not to mention those silly acronyms and the way he pleaded innocence just made him seem a bit more suspicious if she would have been on the other side of this.

"...Nothing to add." Chieko quietly replied in a mildly disinterested tone to the elf. "Someone snatched us from our home and dropped us here. Don't really know who or why."

"Yes, let us be off then." Suzue smiled pleasantly, taking the lead of her little group, heading into the woods. They should likely set up somewhere near the president, but also far enough away not to cause a disturbance to the other people. Leading her group away from the main park, it didn't take her long to try and find a good place to set up. A dense nest of trees where one could easily put together a few of her threads.

"Alright!" Turning on her heels and facing the others, Suzue began. "I'll set up a few threads to start with." She frowned. "...I should be able to use my threads to 'feel' whatever runs into them." In theory, that was how that should work. All she'd have to do is then just pull it tight around the target and capture it. Easy in theory. "But we can't rely solely on that since I am unsure how much thread or even how well I can control it. Any of you have any ideas?"

At most Iva will want to study this.

But he's a little busy straightening out some humans and is nowhere near it.
Now for another round of getting back on top of things.

@Rune_Alchemist - One thing I'll note is that you mentioned that there is no stars in the sky within the description of the observatory. The truth is that there are a few stars in the sky, just not many currently.

Well, the Observatory is in Iva's sub-space. I said there's no stars because there are indeed, no stars in Iva's realm. I'm still deciding whether I want to keep it that way, or have it be that way because no one has cataloged or named them yet.
