Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"...Hahaha, as expected, yes!" As soon as Raviel hit the floor, Seleth grinned doing her best to refrain from a celebratory jump in excitement. Haha, this was going far better than she had hoped! Oooh, this was wonderful! "Aylama has graced me with victory once more!" Giving her spear a twirl, she gave the cheering crowd a few energetic bows, excitedly reveling in the feeling of winning again. Ah, it was nice to finally feel some vindication of her greatness, heh! Well...aside from the fact she felt like Raviel still let her win.

...and then she promptly tripped over her own feet.

"Gah I am sorry!" She managed to catch herself before she fell face first. Ah, right she shouldn't let herself get too big of a head. Dusting off her robes, Seleth looked over to Raviel.

"You know, I can't decide whether I appreciate you letting me win or not." Seleth said, walking over to Raviel once he was up and about. "You could have just pinned me, you know. It's what I would have done in your situation." she sighed, face turning to one of mild annoyance. "Don't get me wrong, winning is fine...but a serious opponent wouldn't have done such a thing. You would also do well to remember that. You are alright, at least?"

She couldn't shake the feeling that she could have done better there, really. She was glad and both ecstatic she won, but...she believed what she had said. In an actual conflict, she would have lost. She shouldn't have allowed herself to be in such a situation to start with, and she should really have found a better way to remove herself from that situation. Perhaps she could have used Shadow-step, but she had panicked.
@Double

I'm fine with either section. Casual may be a bit more active however.

@A Lowly Wretch

Heeeey, just a heads up but I went ahead and put together some specifics of the Library that ya wanted. Decided to put it in the Character Sheets section of the guild since I plan on filling out more details, such as the rest of the realm and a few challenges/puzzles people need to overcome to reach it. It's gonna get a little cluttered, and I'll probably move everything over to there slowly since putting everything in the CS section here might get a bit much. Put in a few Lore notes and some things you smarties out there may be interested in, heh!

Do tell if there are any problems.

The Library of Eternity
A Chronicle of Cy'Lathak, the Library of Eternity, and the God which inhabits it

TL;DR
Currently the Library has Three towers. The main, with Five floors, an Observatory, and the Experiment halls with many floors which stretch deep beneath Cy'Lathak's earth.

The books are semi-sentient, and sort themselves & guide those curious souls who find the library to what they want. If confronted with violence, all will flee.

The B'thkor are currently the only Librarians for now. They watch over the library, and devour any unannounced guest.

The Library can change its internal layout seemingly at Iva's will. Hiding rooms, altering the internal layouts, etc, making it a veritable maze for intruders who find their way here.
@ZekariVoblis

Just a small note from me while we wait for @A Lowly Wretch, you can only start off with one Domain.
Haaa, might as well throw in my interest.
Pfft, not really bad.

I still have a buncha' good ol' lovecraft proxies in the works, and some things more uniquely tailored to this setting. Probably gonna get to work on something similar to a nightgaunt soon.

The rest of the night was what one would call an all night for Katarina. Wasn't unusual in her days in the force. Solving robberies, staying on patrols and stakeouts. Ugh, the more she thought about it, the more she rather missed those days. Well, whatever. She could do more good on this battlefield than she could on the mortal one. Someone had to make sure none of these otherworldly threats spilled over into the real world.

It seemed like no matter what, things just couldn't settle down. She wanted to spend most of the day tracking down this 'Majora', but it looked like that would have to wait. Not a single day didn't go by without something happening it seemed. Scanning Penrose from atop her high perch, Rina made a few observations. Several attacks were going on in several areas. A Cathedral...the stadium. Narrowing her eyes, Rina had to make a decision. She would have wanted to save all of them - but she was just one girl. Ah, not being part of a larger organization at times was tiring. So she chose the one that looked to be the most dangerous.

Leaping from her perch, Rina left her lofty home and descended towards the roof tops below, using them to cover ground quickly. Metal swords impaled the beasts that stood in her way, already hearing and noticing the sounds of conflict from within. Someone had beat her here, it seemed. Good. She just needed too get to a high enough vantage point.

Rina dashed through the perimeter, easily finding her way up the steps of the stadium, inhuman athletics and agility making parkouring up the stadium's side easily. Once perched, she quickly found the culprit -

"...Tch." Frowning, Rina closed her eyes at the sight. She wanted to give the girl the other day the benefit of the doubt, but it was apparent it was a misplaced desire. Horrors couldn't be trusted, and their servants even less. A little sad? Perhaps, but she learned quickly she shouldn't let herself get her hopes up that things would be different, no matter how much she wanted to believe otherwise.

Monsters were monsters. Selfish, greedy, violent people would never change. Such was the way of human nature.

Amaryllis was the one engaging the girl. A small blessing. Silently stringing up her bow, Rina inhaled. A long steel projectile formed in her hand. She'd assist the knight from range, first taking out all of the peon monsters so they couldn't interfere with Amaryllis and to cut down on casualties.

Exhaling, a single arrow launched itself from her bow, followed by several more. The first was aimed at Anabelle, both to let Amaryllis know she was there, as well as to perhaps throw the other girl off balance. The other arrows would hopefully make short work of the remaining mummies and creatures.

The next morning came swiftly, and Chloe was in an understandably good mood. One slept on the couch, and she had given the other Isana's mattress that she used to lounge on all day while playing video games. Ugh, just thinking of that Neet filled her with unholy amounts of rage. Urgh...she might have also missed her a bit, but that wasn't important.

Ah, it had been so long since she had a sleepover! With Isana off playing hero or something, here she was, all alone. The girls from the Archive though, were quite entertaining. Made for some fairly good roommates. Didn't act up, either! Huhu, she was starting to like them more and more. Moving swiftly through the apartments kitchen, Chloe began making breakfast. She'd probably wake them up, but that was fine. She had a busy agenda today so she needed to get moving and reach a reasonable agreement with these two.

Placing two hot pancakes on a plate, Chloe placed them on the table before quickly grabbing the Syrup and butter from the cabinets. This place might be automatically stocked with that cheap Ramen her former roommate was so fond of, but she would not subject her guests or herself to such garbage. Only the best for hers, after all. Oh right - one more thing. Swiftly poking her head out the door, she took her phone and texted Penny. The fact that this place didn't have cell reception was really, really, annoying.

"Hey! How's my adorable little Penny this morning? Wanna stop by later tonight? I miss your face already and I might have a new friend to introduce you too. Don't make me find ya and drag you back here! Gonna be busy most of the morning and afternoon so I may not text back, but see ya & love ya!"
Chloe's phone

No, the dragging bit was not a joke. First thing done for the day then. Now she just had to make a deal with the Archive girls and then find that hospital and the girl one of her spirits had been tracking and she could finally have some help. 'Terror Attack'. Hah! That Penrose Independent really was clueless. Smiling, Chloe grabbed some tea for herself, already having brewed some coffee and set a few other drinks aside in case they wanted something else.

"Delta! Xi! Pancakes as promised, and I made it so you can go ahead and tell me how great it is." Chloe shouted, hoping the two would hurry up and get ready as she took a seat. "Lets try to hurry this up a bit, yes? I'm a busy girl and I have things I need to do."

Lahzria, was utterly awestruck. She had no idea what to say here. What could she say? She stood before two of the most powerful beings in all of the entire world! Gods! The god of Knowledge and the God of Law. How could she even come up with anything to say? The human child could barely even come up with a response. In fact, the only thing she could think of to do, was laugh.

"Ahaha! Oh wow this is...really something." She brightly grinned. "If the Kadisht and Lloi's knew, their faces would be as red as their pompous clothing." Of course, her words went mostly unheard by the two gods - for they had far bigger and more important things to discuss.

"Oh..." Iva eyed Gammaton curiously, the form of the hag tilting her head to the side as she observed the God of Law's creation. "Ah, how curious." Gammaton certainly had a point. The god of Knowledge could feel it himself. After all, he was privy to such things even if he didn't entirely know what those things were. The burden of knowing everything, often meant sometimes you yourself didn't understand it. You just knew things - whether you knew how or why.

"Littla La-Zha. This is not a conversation for you. Not yet." The god replied, turning their white eyes towards the human. "Run along back to the village, but be quick! Return to the wall...make the journey. Find the Library by tomorrow morning."

"Uh..." Lahzria blinked at this request, unsure how to exactly respond at first. Tomorrow morning? That was asking quite a bit. Sure, she could do it but she couldn't exactly prepare herself very well for such a trek! She'd need something to write with, extra paper, maybe spend some time studying old materials. Even so, there was only really one thing to do when a God made a request. "Sure. I can do it. I'll be there by tomorrow morning!" Eagerly, she folded the map back into her thick furs and set off back for the village. "Nice to meet ya Gammaton! Try not to give Lord Iva too much of a headache!"

"Hee! Quite the entertaining one, that human." Turning back to his guest in a jovial tone, Iva made an exaggerated motion. "Follow me, Gammaton. I shall give you a brief respite at my Library where we can discuss things from prying ears and eyes. These creations you suggest would be very useful indeed." Beginning to walk towards the wall, Iva continued in a much less interested tone. "This Assembly...hahahah! Ah, that is a good one. I am busy. I care not for the affairs of my brothers or sisters. They leave me and my experiments alone, I shall leave them alone...but once I finish straightening these humans out I could be swayed." Pausing for a moment, he turned his head to Gammaton. "And your arrival was quite timely! I could perhaps use your help."
Ah, Hyperion.

Another god Iva isn't going to like.

I'm fairly certain Hyperion isn't going to like them either, once some of their more heinous experiments come to light. Humans make for great test subjects. Even more so when they're willing.
