Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Lahzria continued walking, deeper into the forest as the traveler replied. Honestly, she didn't see the need for Ragnagedon either, but the Traveler did perhaps have a point. She didn't spend more than a few seconds thinking about it though. She had to focus on getting through this forest without getting the both of them lost. Now that'd just make her look more inept than she already was. Pausing, she glanced up at an old, large, worn tree that seemed to have been purposefully split in two, right down the middle.

"Eh? A riddle?" The girl frowned, climbing the tree and positioning herself in between the two sections of it as she began gazing off into the distance. She hadn't been expecting to have to answer something like that. "You weren't sent by a god...but still have affiliation with one?" She frowned, folding her arms and leaning against one side of the tree. Well if he wasn't sent, yet still was allied or affiliated with one...

...no. He...he couldn't -

"Remember, Remember little La-Zha, what this Hag told you earlier." Lahzria gave a minor start at the familiar, shrill voice of the woman she had run into not so long ago. "What was it I said? When all else has been exhausted, the implausible is plausible? Bah, hard to remember." The cloaked woman appeared from the treeline, walking calmly with slow, but purposeful steps. The cloak dragging upon the snowy ground, bare feet making crunching noises on the ground. "Hee! I didn't expect to meet you twice in one day! Trust your mind more. You are correct!"

"L-lord Iva?" Lahzria nearly fell from her perch, but managed to recover in time to make it seem like she had simply gracefully stepped down.

"Ah, I must be quite the popular little god today! First Dirka visits and gives me this beautiful flower." Iva laughed, pointing to the white flower now adorning their head. "And now little Gammy. Here for a party?" Suddenly voice taking a less jovial tone, the god continued in an irritable manner. "No no, I don't think so. I didn't plan one with you. Here unannounced! Why does no one ever tell me they're coming? Always with the unannounced visits! I have things to do! Plots to plot! Holes to fill with cheese!...or was it clouds? Might have been clouds." Tone changing once more to their previous joviality, Iva giggled. "Ah, but you've caught me in a good mood so I will entertain you. What brings the Law to my experiment?"

Lahzria simply stayed quiet, observing the exchange between the two gods.

"...Item war?" Claire frowned. Urgh, well, she supposed she did hear something about not being able to use potions in a battle with a Gym leader. Or rather, if one side did then the other could as well. Maybe if she had an unreasonable amount, but with just two...Claire sighed, brushing back loose strands of her red hair as she smiled. "Alright well..." Reaching for another pokeball, Claire would simply wait it out. She couldn't risk letting the Liligant getting in a free hit when she switched. When Del inevitably fainted on her next turn, Claire recalled him.

"Alright, well...Zeal!" Tossing out her Monferno, Claire had a tentative plan in place. She just hoped she could pull it off. "TAUNT! And move your butt faster than it!" If he could just wait out the sleep powder, or at the very least, trade a hit here then she could easily win this! She just had to get lucky, hah.

"Ta-ta! We'll have ourselves some tea when you come next! Maybe I'll throw in a hat and a rabbit, too!" Giggling lightly, Iva then turned his attention back to Gammaton and his current encroachment. Hm...oh what could he be here for? The God of Law and Order, visiting him of all beings. Curious. So curious. Iva truly had nothing against the other god - but he tended to be a bit of a downer. Didn't know the meaning of the word 'entertainment'.

Walking back to where he had first encountered Dirka, he found the little slime ball sitting there, seemingly reading over a few of the materials already. How excellent! It already knew how to go about life, hee! Now then...she might as well go meet his guests, might't he? They had planned to let the week play out. Let little Lahzira experience what she needed too...but with the other god here, perhaps things could be sped along a little! Turning back to the entrance he had used to appear and taking the guise of the Hag once more, Iva left the library for the mortal realm...

Lahzria watched as the traveler gave the basket to another woman, a little upset. Ah, those things were so sweet. She'd have love to eat more of them. Oh well, if it could distract the rest of them then it was certainly a good thing. The woman who had been handed the basket seemed surprised before happily laughing in thanks, running off to share the bounty with the rest of the tribe. In a rather childish manner, Lahzria hopped upon a nearby pile of logs that had recently been cut, sticking her arms out and balancing on them.

"Other gods...?" She frowned as she balanced, still heading towards the treeline. "Only what the Kadisht and Lloi's tell us. They are the only ones who have access to the writings Lord Iva'Krorh gave us when he first arrived." She replied, shaking her head. "Though I may have sneaked in a time or two and saw a few of them myself." She laughed brightly, hopping down from the pile of logs and landing on the snowy ground, walking backwards so she could still look at the traveler.

"There's Lady Dirka! Lord Iva'Krorh speaks highly of the Goddess of Magic. There's this one called Sommler, too. Says he's uh...basically the enemy of understanding and knowledge, but is also necessary? I don't really get that one. Lady Anu'Varr as well." Still walking backwards, she smiled brightly at the traveler. "Doesn't mention much about her, but I think Lord Iva'Krorh says we should be cautious around her, and treat her with respect. I think 'Intriguingly beautiful' was the words the White Star used. Something about her hating humans, but sounds like she just needs a hug!" She giggled brightly, by now having reached the end of the village, arriving at the treeline to the Lyssian forest. "I think all of them are briefly mentioned, but Ragnagedon is just about the only one the Illuminator actively detests. He doesn't like needless destruction without creation."

She stopped walking, reaching into her furs for a few seconds and pulling out an old, worn scrap of paper. Upon it was a rough map of the forest they were in along with a few observational notes. The forest was tricky, but navigable if you knew what you were doing and paid attention to your surroundings. Just had to know what landmarks to look for.

"Why do you ask?" She gave the traveler a quizzical look. A few reasons anyone would ask something like that that she could think of, and all meant that this traveler in some way was related to another god. Ragnagedon could be ruled out. Sommler too, likely. Lady Anu'Varr, too. Which left Dirka and perhaps one of the others. Hayim? He bought something sweet, so possibly. "This way, come on. The wall isn't that far."

Meanwhile, Lena focused on her shield, hopefully reaching Xavier in time. She raised her shield above her head, hopefully blocking the Marchosias attack so Xavier could get a good hit.

"Okay...I think I've sat by and watched enough." Tania hovered in air, performing a rather comical seeming stretch as she had gone mostly unnoticed by now. Lena had been rather slow on the uptake, but it seemed Xavier was holding out pretty well on his own. Dusting her hands off, Tania grinned. "OKAY!~" She shouted, though as small as she was it was more like a normal level voice. In a puff of wind, she had grown to a more child-like size in an instant, her starlit blade appearing in her hand. While his opponent was busy focusing on Xavier, Lena wind-stepped behind their opponent.

"Didn't forget about little ol' me, did ya?" She drove her rapier into their opponents spine, going right through his ribcage and hopefully impaling him fully on her rapier, hopefully while he was distracted with the other two.

What should she do? Chieko frowned, watching the Elf that had arrived with another group of humans that were obviously from earth. kidnapped? Well, she supposed that was true. They were just kind of tossed here without any idea what they were supposed to do, and after what happened the first time she was pretty sure it'd be a bad idea to walk around without one of these supposed permits. There were a few options here, but none of them seemed particularly good. Irene and Vasilis saved their lives, right? So they were at least somewhat trustworthy. She found herself scooting a little closer to the two of them.

"Is the situation really that bad?" Chieko frowned. Well, she knew one thing. She was not cleaning houses. No way in hell was she wearing a maid uniform. Knowing fantasy tropes, that was probably going to be a thing. She didn't know a thing about medicine either so helping at a clinic was a bad idea. Going with Aer seemed like the legal thing to do. And if this miss Pacifica was an adventurer, couldn't she probably teach her how to as well? She seemed capable, almost as capable as Vasilis. Hm.

"Uhm..." Chieko walked over to Aer's group. If a permit was needed, it'd probably be a good idea to go ahead and get one, wouldn't it? This lady and her friend seemed like they knew what they were talking about at least. "I'll go with you."

@Lucius Cypher@Pyromania99

Livia frowned. Well that was fruitless. Well, she supposed it was useful regardless. If the more reasonable folk at least seemed like they liked the person, then realistically there was probably no threat. Just her being overly cautious and paranoid again. Ugh. She sighed, slumping back in her chair a bit. Well, no matter. She couldn't let Katherine do as she pleased anyways. If she caused problems she'd get blamed for it or have to clean up her messes.

"Well, at least he was far more polite than I expected." She grunted, straightening herself just in time to notice a familiar girl walk into the place. It...no. It couldn't. She seemed utterly normal. Livia narrowed her eyes at the girl. There was no sign of demonic influence on her at all. She seemed utterly normal. "...I'm going crazy. Yep, going crazy. That's what this is. I've snapped. Surprisingly less violent then I thought it'd be." Either someone was messing with her, or this kid was some sort of demon in disguise. Katherine mentioned a prank before, didn't she? If that was these kids idea of a prank...she held a hand to her head, just in time to have Katherine lean over and get her attention.

"Hm...?" Taking a look at the group that had gathered, Livia observed quietly as Katherine introduced herself. She hadn't thought much of them. Looked to be a rather disreputable bunch, so perhaps they could help with the Hashish problem. Not trusting them? That was rich coming from her sister who walked into someone's home, only to end up agreeing to spend the night after just a few minutes greeting. "Hello," Livia straightening her posture. "Livia Fiore. I apologize if my sister has bothered you. We're here looking for help with a request from Miss Maeda of the frontier town. We heard we could purchase some Snake Venom here?"

I was almost certain Iva was going to purge White Dawn for their stupidity.

Now now.

A purging doesn't mean you have to kill everyone. Just those you don't like.

Don't you worry. The fools will receive a harsh reminder of who they're meant to entertain...and Gammaton can help with that greatly I think. Just need to put someone else in charge, and purge the dissenters teh-heh.
Hmm, I'd be interested in seeing what it is. Iva's got a few more of their own plans to see to fruition for now, so I can't say Iva would be too interested in it for now though, but we'll see. First order of business is getting White Dawn stable and able to do science properly.

Then they shall take over the world with knowledge
@Duoya

Now if only Hayim knew what Iva is gonna do to those plants.

Once Iva finishes up with Dirka and Gammaton, I'll have him pay Hayim a visit~

"Such a soft little birdie, hee!" Iva giggled loudly as they were promptly bear hugged by Dirka. "I am thrilled you love it. Should you not, I might be angry." It truly was a marvel! He had stumbled upon its creation by accident. Here he had been, cutting apart various animals that he had bought here, simply to dissect and study. Somehow - and void only knows how - a sinew had ended up on one of his horns. Must have been quite the party, hee! Upon attempting to remove it, he pulled it tight and accidentally strummed it. After that, the rest is as they say, history! Quite recent too! Pulling himself from his own thoughts, he focused on Dirka.

"A gift? For me? Aw, you shouldn't have sister! What a curious little seed." His faceless visage studied it curiously. A gift for him? This small thing? Tsk, Dirka better hope it was quite useful! Of course, the gift that graced his ears next was certainly worth it. For the duration of Dirka's song, Iva simply listened, seemingly enraptured until she was done. When done, a single white flower grew from the floor. The grey aura emanating from it caused Iva to giggle.

"Oh my! How beautiful! Your voice is as soothing as ever, hee! A treasure that even our pathetic hot-headed brother would think twice about destroying!" The god took the flower gently. "Ah, this reminds me I need to have Hayim make me a garden! Plants and such need to be cataloged and studied as well. I'm sure he'd love to make me a beautiful field of these, but for now," The god joyfully stuck the flower right between his horns. "I shall wear it upon my crown, hee!" Twirling in place, Iva began walking, leaving the room with a mild sense of seeming purpose. "Keep it! I Have named it a 'Harp'. No idea why, but it feels right and I've already detailed its construction." Dirka was quick to notice Gammaton as well. Ah, she had to wonder if he should let the two of them meet? Would be quite the spectacle.

"Yes yes," Sighing in mild seeming irritation, Iva replied. "it seems little Gammy has decided to find his way here! I can only imagine what he wants." Shifting his moods once more, he laughed. "But don't worry your pretty little voice over it. I have am glad you arrived, sister. I have a request!" Suddenly spinning in place to face Dirka, Iva gave her a light poke on the forehead. "Teach one of my humans magic."

"Honey?...such a sweet word." She giggled. She didn't know who this stranger was, but she certainly liked him at the moment - at least until he mentioned the wall of Hlakth. Why would anyone be seeking that? Let alone a stranger. Were they seeking the Library? Even more curious was what he followed with. He drew the Emblem of Lord Iva on the snowy ground, before pointing to her hand. She immediately recoiled, swallowing hard.

Haha, of course this couldn't be simple.

"...you're not an ordinary traveler, are you?" She laughed uneasily. "I met Lord Iva'Khror in the forest. He told me not to tell anyone because of what they might do..." The young girl frowned, shaking her head. "I don't know what to do. Everything was fine, yesterday but its like everyone just suddenly decided to be hateful or something." Maybe...maybe though, this could be an opportunity? She was a little tired of always being treated like a child, just because she didn't study well or didn't take well to hunting lessons. She glanced at her hand. It finally stopped itching.

"...I can take you to the wall." She said, standing up. "I've been there before a few times, hah...it's really not as hard as the Kadisht makes it out to be. Quite simple! I've even made a small map! I've been a little scared of going further since I'd get into a lot of trouble, but if everyone's going to be mean to me anyways I might as well. We should go while the hunters are busy finishing skinning their recent hunts."
