I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
OH! Well, now I have to go with Klisa! She'd be offended if I went with anyone else!
And the long and short answer is: Hanging in there, life has defo been crazy for everyone and my had some wild circumstances that weren't going anywhere before the virus hit, but I'm rolling on and glad to be writing again.
With everything going on and the general ridiculousness of the world today, glad to hear you're doing alright.
I'd love nothing more to engage in adorableness with Ceri and Klisa again, so looking forward to it!
Ceri is a rather diminutive, unassuming girl. Standing roughly at 5'3". Most of her appearance is hidden under her robe, which she never seems to ever take off. What people can see, however, is locks of pure white hair, a pair of bright blue eyes and every so often a flash of pale skin. She seems to go out of her way to make sure she's almost always fully clothed to the point of concealing everything, even wearing gloves on her hands.
Name: Ceri Age: Appears somewhere between 16-18 Guild: Lunar Raven Guild Mark Location: Left cheek, pitch black in color. Magic Type: Intoxicating Smoke At first inspection, it appears to be a highly refined form of Smoke Magic.
Anyone with refined magical knowledge, will immediately recognize the magics true nature. Rather than magic, it is a curse. As an Etherious, Ceri possesses no magic, but a Curse. "Dukhan maskar" - or the 'Intoxicating Smoke' curse. A type of ability often considered by its practitioners to be more powerful than magic. In some cases this is true - Curses do not run off of magical power, rather than Negative Emotions, and as such they are unaffected by magic nullifying or canceling objects.
However, the curse is currently incomplete. Her pages left blank and the curse was never finished being put into practice, as such there's only so little she can do with it. The smoke is designed to confound and leave people who inhale into a drunken, high stupor unable to do anything, and due to the curses' incomplete nature it only has minor effects as such.
Spells:
Smoke Field: She releases smoke from her robe, covering the entire area in a thick smog. It serves little purpose, other than to obscure an enemies sight and make it difficult for them to do anything relying on visual cues alone. The smoke, is incredibly difficult to dissipate as long as she is conscious or in the area. For now, the field can only cover about half a mile radius. Those who inhale the smoke tend to suffer effects similar to drunkenness, though it is minor. Loss of motor control and slowed reaction times.
Smoke Clone: As the name suggests, she is able to create clones of herself with magic. They are perfect copies - though incredibly weak and can't actually do anything other than serve as a distraction.
Smoke Bomb: A spell with a two-fold purpose. Smoke blasts out from her robes with explosive force, enough to knock anyone away from her - it also covers the immediate area in a thick layer of smoke, that seems to refuse to leave. The smoke may have different properties, depending on what she needs. It is incredibly difficult to dissipate the smoke as long as she is conscious/in the area.
Barrage: A blast of small concentrated smoke balls barrage at the enemy, exploding with force on impact.
Smoke Pulse: Releases a stream of fast moving smoke in a direction. Used to move quickly and avoid things, though could be used to smack someone as an impromptu, low-damage attack.
Smoke Control: A passive ability that allows her to change the density, force, and other properties of the smoke. It normally comes in a smoky black form. She can change the density, weight, and otherwise the physical properties of it.
Smoke Form: A little spell she doesn't use much except to avoid unavoidable attacks. Basically, her entire body becomes smoke itself, including her robe. Sustaining the mode for too long causes a huge exhaust on magic, so it's best used sparingly.
Magic Rank: B
Equipment: A dagger stuffed somewhere in her robes. Its a macabre thing that possesses minor dispelling abilities - that is, it drains Etherano from things it hits, in order to deactivate whatever magic it interacts with. The effect however, is extremely weak.
Her robe, which has the properties of dulling her presence and making people 'forget' she's there and makes it easier to go unnoticed.
Strengths: Loyal Surprisingly ruthless and skilled fighter Somehow, always finds a way to be positive. -Adorable -Guilds mascot -huggable
Weaknesses: Cowardice, doesn't like fighting Trust Issues Lack of control on her magic
Personality: Ceri tries. She honestly does. Unfortunately, her timid nature and tendency to flee, and her massive amount of self-doubt really doesn't help. Running is first nature to her. Fighting hardly ever even crosses her mind, unless she absolutely must or is backed into a corner where she can not run. You know what they say. Never corner a frightened animal - she is quite adept at magic and will use it to her full advantage, if she must.
As far as others goes, she is about as friendly as they come, though her social anxiety can become somewhat detrimental to social interactions. She has had very little dealings with other people in the past, aside from her 'father' - who always taught her to be wary of others. Somewhere along the line, this turned into fear of others in general. Still, she tries to be friendly, and get along with others, and remain positive despite her shortcomings.
However, she does have a rather...darker side if pushed too far or if she becomes stressed. Often times, she internalizes a lot of sarcastic comments and snark and colorful language. Even she has a limit.
This is of course, somewhat of a front. Being an Etherious, Ceri harbors many dark thoughts and negative opinions. She is inherently an evil, but weak creature. She sees most people around her as annoyances, especially those who cause wanton chaos and who can't just sit still and be quiet. Yet, perhaps even a demon can learn to break such a nature. It certainly seems Ceri has developed conflicted feelings regarding this. She is an Etherious. She is better than these humans, yet the more time she spends with them...
History/Bio: Ceri never knew her parents, where she actually comes from, or the real identity of the man who raised her. Her earliest memories are simply of waking up in a bed in his lab. She was just a child then, barely over the age of five. He said he found her unconscious in the forest, and brought her here. Whatever happened there, she can't remember and if he had some part in it, he never told her. Instead, he took her in as his own and taught her magic - though it was mostly out of his own self interest. He needed someone to run to town and who was adept at magic other than him to make sure his research wasn't discovered.
Their relationship was cool at best. He treated her civilly and fairly, and raised her to the best of his abilities. Some might say he didn't care for her at all, and she was just a tool, a pawn. Whether it is true or not, doesn't matter. She worked hard, studied magic hard, and generally did as she was supposed too. It was difficult, since he was stoic and showed little emotions. It seemed almost as if whatever she did, it wasn't enough.
When his research into demons and other things was discovered by a group of mages - he let himself be arrested, and allowed Ceri to escape.
That was around a year and a half ago. Unsure where to go, and never having actually talked with or interacted much with other people, she was sorely out of her element. However, she did work up the courage to become a part of Lunar Raven. In the few months of the journeying she had before coming here, she realized she really wasn't strong, and that she knew actually very little about the world. Books can only teach so much, after all.
Which is her main goal for being here. She wants to learn, experience the world, and maybe make a friend or two on the way.
This of course, is somewhat of a lie. The overall story is true, but the relationship she had with this 'father' figure is a complete lie. A unique bond is formed between book and creator, and they are driven to kill them, almost always. Not that her creator had any qualms about this, so long as she did as she was supposed to.
Ceri was created, not born, by a dark mage fueled by revenge by the callousness of the magic council. A shell of a man filled with hate after losing his daughter and wife in an incident involved dark guilds. Pouring everything into dark research, Ceri, was eventually created some scant number of years ago.
Ceri, was to be his tool of revenge. A perfect, emotionless, killing machine, even if she was never officially completed before he was arrested and done away with. Perhaps that incompleteness is why she is as she is. Conflicted and always second guessing herself when it comes to dealing with others.
The only one who would know this secret of hers, would be the Guild Master or any demon-slayer, or, perhaps, another Etherious. She doesn't like people knowing.
Extra: Loves reading, will smack a hoe if they hurt a book Likes bright lights
Righto, well, here she is in full for everyone else to see.

After some thinking, I've reached the conclusion that this RP just isn't exactly something I'm super into. Can't write shit, don't like anything I do write, and I'm not really into forcing something. Consider this my official resignation, everyone.
Just have Estelle disappear into the Digital Ether, I suppose.
"Fweh?" The spider blinked in mild surprise. Kaori hadn't expected this girl to cling to her quite so ah, fervently. Icyness aside, this was quite nice. Having a cute girl cling to her like this...ah, no no, she needed to behave.
"Spirit Invocation...hm." She let Mugi get comfortable as she listened idly to Tomoko. "Are we looking for anything in particular, Tomo-chan? I could ask around the area and see if any of my friends saw anything suspicious." She turned her attention back to Mugi, who seemed quite distressed at the idea of possibly getting involved with ghosts. Why a Youkai was terrified of ghosts, she didn't know, but she wasn't going to say that to this adorable thing clinging to her.
"Fufu, don't worry." Kaori placed a hand on top of Mugi's head, gently ruffling her hair. "I won't lay a fuzzy-ahem-I won't let any evil spirit lay a fuzzy hand on you." She didn't seem to mind the coldness as she wrapped her arms around the Yuki-Onna.
"Lol, I'll tell ya later fam. We gonna blow this joint-" Before Beni-Sensei recovered enough to try and make a new fur coat out of her tail. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't going to get very far. Barely three steps towards the door, the rice paddle hit the top of Suzuka's head with a resounding thwack.
"Geh...!"
The foxgirl fell backwards onto Mana, the back of her head landing on her Masters vast tracts of land.
...
...
...
"OMG!" After a few seconds of being completely unresponsive, the fox regained consciousness. "Like, I legit almost died Beni-Sensei! Like jeez!" She totally knew she was at least, somewhat at fault here, but what else was she supposed to do to help her ever so pitiful and totally sad and friendless master? "Yanno, you could've been a bit easier not like-" She managed to stop herself from saying anything else incriminating. "...tch."
She was technically in the wrong here, wasn't she?
"...like, I guess I could've asked her...but she would've said no." If nothing else, Suzuka did seem to think she was legitimately helping. "Ugh, this is mega super embarrassing..."
"...for someone who was physically dragging me out of the house earlier, you're suddenly eager to leave." Charlotte mused. That suited her just fine. Seemed like the woman decided to end her small talk, too. Well, that was fine too. She wasn't very interested in that in the first place. It was around then, the womans servant apparently named 'Jack' returned, carrying some clothing herself. She was certainly not expecting...that, but she supposed there were all sorts of heroic spirits, weren't there?
"Seems she didn't wander far. Good." That probably came out as a little insincere. "Well...thank you for your time, and apologies for bothering you for my curiosity...uh..." Charlotte hesitated for a moment, internally debating whether or not she should make an effort to introduce herself. Her face shifted from her usual stern visage to one of mild uncertainty. Wasn't like she'd ever meet this woman again, but considering her lack of knowing other people in Fusang, perhaps...hm.
"...I, uhm, don't think I quite got your name?"
And well, maybe having someone she could make an excuse to go visit would help Momo ease off the nagging.
The spider watched Mugi skate around the room, all the naive innocence of the world on her shoulders. Gods, she was adorable. Big bad wolf? That was some fairy tale or something from the west, wasn't it? Oh this adorable child. It was a good thing she was a good little spider that had some self restraint. Not to mention, the thought of someone kidnapping cute girls off the street infuriated her.
"Fuuu..." Kaori frowned, sliding her seat away from the table slightly. "Missing children, hm? Who would be so cruel?" The irony of that statement was not lost on her - but she never laid a fuzzy little leg on her girls. Well. Maybe some fuzzy legs. Maybe some other parts - ahem. Point was, there was a good chance some other Youkai was physically harming them. She was all for a little rough play, but it was all in good fun on her part. A Yamauba was a good suggestion in this case, but it was difficult to speculate without further information. It might be some odd one that wasn't quite run of the mill. "Perhaps an Aobozu? Though, I don't think they are known to take children in towns."
She hadn't really been keeping up with such cases on her own, and unfortunately for Tomoko, she was a bit distracted by the cute snow woman at the moment or she might of offered something more insightful. A small hand motion and a thread of silk had been latched onto the wall from between Kaori and where Mugi was skating.
The Yuki-Onna would suddenly find herself tripping, and falling onto Kaori, the girl's face meeting Kaori's chest.
"You should be careful. Skating indoors might get you hurt, especially in such a crowded room. I'd be quite distressed if you got hurt, so its a good thing you had something nice to land on, but next time you might not be so lucky, heheh."
Suzuka could say nothing as Beni-Sensei started her lecture. This was it. She was going to get sent back to the throne before her JK debut could be made. The prepared herself, ready to receive the full brunt of Beni-Sensei's lecture. Ready to be dragged back into Hell's Kitchen and made to undergo a hellish training that would make even gods fear the small bird.
"Ah...!? Nice one Master!" Before she could be dragged back into such a hellscape, Mana had somehow managed to restrain Beni-Sensei. "Yanno, Like, it's not my fault my dunce of a master doesn't get how good she looks!" Suzuka finally said, halfway in reply to Kaguya-hime with a mild bit of irritation. "So like, obvs I gotta get everyone else to agree first!"
The fox flashed a rather bored look over to Hakuno who suggested they go take a seat.
"...but like, anyways, we're totes bored of this place, and Master and I got a lit AF girl date at the salon." She flashed a grin towards Mana. "Yoink!" Before Mana could try and protest, Suzuka had grabbed her master by the arm and started pulling her towards the door, intending to make a swift escape and completely forgetting their to go order.
