Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Ugh why are all the animals here talking? Are we in a Disney movie or something..." Colleen frowned, eyes focusing on the Raven, only to stare blankly as the bird then, somehow presumably using magic, decided to start looking like a human. Still, she was helping so she should try to summarize then. "So, in short...the shrines bad, and we'll probably die if we go there. The forest is big, we'll probably get lost and whisked away to neverland if we go out without you."

Colleen pouted slightly.

"Tch, why do I gotta be babysat by a girl who doesn't even look old enough to be left at home by herself..." Geh, she wanted to exercise or go to a gym, maybe take some annoyance out on a punching bag. Greenie and the kid didn't look like they'd be a good sparring partner. She wanted to do something to clear her head for a bit. Training and physical work always did that. Shadow boxing? hmng, maybe there was a barrel or old log around here she could use...

"...hey waiiit, actually, if you're a witch you can do magic stuff right? Like that barrier thing?" She had never held much interest in that kinda thing, mostly because it never existed, but it was obvious it existed right here. "D'ya think I could learn?"
Lady Norinthall

Really, she had just spoke the truth! The librarian was an old hag that couldn't tell a gnome from a dwarf! Not to mention she offered to buy the books she had...ahem, misplaced! What, did the Librarian think she couldn't just throw around money? Well, she could! Raella trudged, in quite an annoyed fashion along the road as they made their way to Tir Na Ong. Really, should she complain to dad? Have that place raided? Audited? Tch, just thinking about it made her want to shove that silly Librarian in their place even more.

Geh, it was a good thing she was a good little girl and didn't cause trouble or that Librarian would so totally get it!

"And what is with this fog!?" Raella shouted, just a little irritated still. "Ugh, Arndell, carry me." She should really work on getting a levitation spell so she could just float and swim through air like she could water. "...and what are with these weirdos here?" Her eyes scanned the groups present. Three distinct ones. Some armored meatheads, some funky looking druids, and some unarmored meatheads. What, did she miss a memo about some physical fitness competition being held all the way out here? Actually, come to think of it weren't those armored guys members of the Doom Guard? And those martial arts uniforms were part of the Transcendent order? She didn't recognize the others, but why were they out here? She at least, did not need a reason to be anywhere so of course she was always where she was supposed to be.

"Actually, scratch that, touch me and you'll give me half your next paycheck." Raella responded, humming lightly as she observed the going ons. Well, if nothing else, the annoyance at getting kicked out of the library was slowly being replaced with curiosity. Raella would first, approach one of the troubled looking Druids, preferably one that is by itself if she was so lucky as to find one and casually, strike up a totally non intrusive fishing for information conversation. "So what are the Doomguard and Transcendant Order doing here that's got you country bumpkins all in a tizzy? Gond the wonderbringer get arrested for something or are we just having a party here? "
Yeah, right when I get back from vacay and a wedding

Now I have three days to think of how to best have Raella mess everything up in a fashionable manner

“Alright, Verdue. Munchlax! Show them how we greet those who interrupt our tea-time!” The plan was simple, really. Laurel recalled her Sprigatito, switching in her Munchlax. The gluttonous pokemon in question hopped onto the battlefield, curiously looking at Pawniard and Sneasel both. “Keep that Pawniard off Luna!”

“Too slow. Sneasel, Rocksmash!” Sneasel dashed, running full speed ahead towards the Snivvy. Luna would barely have time to get off a vine whip, let alone a wrap as the pokemons claws glowed white, slamming into the Snivvy’s body and sending the other pokemon stumbling back. Bea’s Sneasel cackled aggressively - just as it would find a vine whipping into its arms, the vine wrapping around the Poison types arms and body, earning aggressive, annoyed cries as the pokemon was wrapped up.

“Not bad, kiddo, Pawniard…another Fury Cutter. That Munchlax wants to tango, we can dance all you want, miss.” Pawniard sharpened its blades again, making a beeline right for the Munchlax. Montgomery had nothing but confidence, it seemed as the Pawniard struck Munchalx’s stomach, earning a somewhat confused, but pained grunt from the pokemon.

Not that the damage amounted to a whole lot, though, as a good portion would be healed from the Leech Seed on Sneasel.

Stellar Toy Factory
@Crusader Lord

“H-hey. What do you think you’re doing? I’m a valuable and expensive piece of equipment!” The mini Camphor would complain as Clarissa held out the pokedex. “This is my home, you little brat. You think I want uninvited guests?! Well, on the other hand it’d be a unique opportunity to study a Rotom up close…mmngh…” The AI didn’t seem to be too opposed to the idea, but she didn’t seem on board, either.

“Ro?” The Rotom itself, though, did seem intrigued by the device in front of it. As Clarissa continued to talk, its eyes seemed to slowly look around the room, out the window, slowly circling back to Clarissa and the device. She could tell it was at least curious? Intrigued? It didn’t seem like it was opposed to the idea of leaving.

But it also seemed wary and cautious.

“Bzzt-Ro.” It seemed content here, certainly. It had a whole factory, it had its own little fun messing with the pokemon here, and it had whatever it wanted, really.

“I’d have to put up some fire walls, maybe partition some of the device…since the pokedex doesn’t have the functionality of a Rotom dex, it’d basically just be a glorified pokeball…” Camphor continued to mutter audibly, ignoring both Clarissa and the Rotom now, as she’d pace back and forth across the screen, a few pixelated equations floating around her head as she’d stop in front of a whiteboard, and start scribbling out some highly complex looking diagrams.

“...Ro!”

“Weh-!”

Having made up its mind, suddenly the entire facility started powering down. Well, more like every switch was flipped off, and every conveyor belt was slowed to a halt as the Rotom zapped itself from the TV Monitor to the Pokedex.

“Oi-you pest-stop that!”

The pokedex vibrated violently in Clarissa’s hand. The screen blinked and buzzed, the audio.

briefly becoming distorted as the pokedex suddenly shut off completely.

Well, it was probably fine. The magnetic locks on the doors disengaged, allowing Clarissa to leave. It’d be easy enough to take the closer stairs down to the warehouse floor and meet up with the others, now.

Notably, she hadn’t technically caught the Rotom yet. It was just living in her pokedex for the moment.

Ancient Grove

“You guys wanted to look at the shrine, not me! Coming here is always asking for trouble!” Yasu shouted back. She was already quite a distance away now, slowly disappearing into the forest behind the trees and foliage. Seemed like she was well and truly done with this place for now. She only stopped long enough to reply to Isla’s question. “Exactly like this! What do you expect? Just less destroyed. Tsk, when my parents find out they’re going to have words for that hag…”

Swiper, though, would find something a bit interesting. Scurrying across the roughed up ground, following his nose as he’d scamper across the grass and earth, eventually it would lead him to the Shrine itself. One of the doors was open, just slightly. Normally it’d be closed and locked, but it looked like either the woman or someone else had broken it some time ago, leaving one of the doors open.

Inside, was an old scrap of paper it looked like…with an old, photo of a family in a glass frame. It was weathered with age, but remarkably well preserved, save for part of the drawing being cut off over a little girl's face. A wooden tablet with a prayer for safety was sitting nearby along with a little hand drawn carving of Celebi.

Didn’t seem like much else was here, though. The woman, Leah, didn’t seem to have dropped anything.

Assuming the two left, following after Yasu relatively quickly they’d make their way back to Pines End without trouble. Yasu gruffly would return to the temple, unaware of Isla finding anything in the shrine unless told. Maybe it’d be a good idea to check on her. Otherwise, there was still the Hotel that Isla now had a VIP card too, but there wasn’t any more immediate pressing matters to tend to, now.

Numako Yamamizu
Cafeteria
@Nyahahameha

Immediately after getting back from the mission and the post-mission checkups she always had, Numako found herself in the cafeteria. Why? Well, so she could conveniently not be dragged into something if she was in the offices or somewhere else. Indeed, the Cafeteria was her own little palace. A safe space where she could laze about, eat snacks, and generally just not be bothered. It was also, all things considered, relatively quiet.

Just her, a plethora of snacks, the murmur of a few coworkers as background noise and s l e e p....

"Mngh...?" She couldn't help, but to pull her head up from where it had been buried in her arms as the background noise got louder, and she could pick out a few distinct words. New transfer, huh? Well, she wasn't sleeping now anyways, not with the new noise. Not to mention, the fact that she couldn't pass up the chance to mess with fresh blood, as one might say. She rested her chin on the palm of her hand, the other hand delivering the salty taste of potato chip to her mouth.

Might as well mix things up a bit, heh. Messing with the coffee machine twice in a row was just bad form.

Elvira would feel a cold breath on her neck as one of the nameless spirits would grab the folder that she had been holding, giving it a little yank, and sending it to the floor.
Colleen
Shrine
@Pyromania99@Rin@VitaVitaAR

Garden of false recollections? What kinda nerdy ass name was that? Colleen frowned, but didn't say much else. There were no words she could find appropriate to this situation, really even. Only mild annoyance as the sparkling...lights? A swarm of sparkling lights? Rather, small humanoids? It was becoming increasingly clear, they were definitely not in Kansas and more.

"You know what I'm not going to ask questions." Colleen mumbled, sighing as her serpentine hair hissed and threateningly glared at any sparkling light that came close. Collen just contented herself to follow into the house. Eyes forward, taking note of anything useful or maybe dangerous. Flowers, primarily. Cauldron, stairs, fireplace and -

"Gah, the turtle talked!" Colleen pointed a finger at the talking tortoise. "...I shouldn't be surprised any more, eh...OK, OK, Colleen, just think rationally." Her gaze turned towards Ilsa. "Alright, miss 'Substitute witch'" She'd walk over to the reading chair, making herself quite at home as she spoke and turning the chair to face Ilsa. "Thanks for helping us, pretty sure I could've handled it, but thanks. I dunno where this Forest of Lorkay is or what this place of false reflections is or whatever," Colleen crossed her arms. "But I think we should be honest with ya since you helped. Me and greenie aren't from around here. Last thing I remember we were in an accident then woke up in that shrine. Dunno how, or why."

Best she could do, and as much as she didn't want to admit it, they were going to need help or at least some information about where they were before she could do anything.
