I just love having a job where the general population treats me like a used napkin.

As a holy paladin, I can't say for certain PrinceAlexus is going to be smighted, but don't be surprised if you find him with a mace in his face.

There really was nowhere in this new city she desired to go. She wasn't much of an outside person, so fuck the beach and the park. Also, if she had to be around any more of these worthless and pathetic mortals, then most certainly she would unleash a gorefest to rival even the bloodiest of horror films she's watched, even Rob Zombie's and Eli Roth's. So...why not just go to a place she would expect less of either. The sunlight was already burning through her flesh, even under the thick black leather of her jacket with a hood she pulled over her head, concealing her face in a sea of black, save for the two glowing red eyes that pierced through the thick mist obscuring her and possibly into the souls of whoever dared to gaze upon her.

Into the library she skulked, the dim light, the sparse population of human filth, much needed. A monotonous sigh passed her lips, ushering with it a thin mist of white smoke from the crumpled cigarette precariously hanging in her mouth. Like she gave a shit if smoking wasn't allowed here. Straight to the literature section she went, already picking out her favorite, The Telltale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe.
@WhitewindPsh! Like Evelyn has any time for dat. XD

Evelyn: "Call me." >.>;

@Otaku95

A tad unexpected it was for the girl to take her hand so quickly, caressing it with a fond pressure. Her cheeks reddened slightly, not a full-on blush, yet evident enough as she looked towards Ryuko, her eyes dim and vacant. ~"Indeed...Chizuru-chan's death was not honorable at all. She deserved better."~ Mournful the redhead sighed, but smiled all the more generous. ~"But let's not entertain the past. I think it's best we hurry before we are caught outside, don't you?"~ Her hand....I...I can't believe this. Usually when a girl had taken my hand, it was so frail, so...timid, but she...she grabbed mine with such force. I don't understand what's happening to me.

@Framing A Moose @Bryn @sassy1085

Understandable she didn't. Tohru would just have to brush up on her English then. At least it was nice to see a new face at Claymore, even a foreigner's. So instead of speaking to this girl, a cheerful smile she gave and a respectful bow.
@Whitewind I think they would get along too. ^___^ Ev can be sociable at times, but only if she's in a good mood. Also I feel like Neva kinda has the same wit and sarcasm as she.
@sassy1085

Emm...Just so we're clear, Claymore is somewhere in Japan, right? O___o
@Ryouko

XD Evelyn's an old OC of mine. I've just spruced up her CS so many times till I had this. Oh and if our characters do end up fighting, a word of warning, Evelyn's a fucking psycho who won't stop until her enemies are ripped to pieces.

The mood was tense, silence all around, save for the whirring and whizzing of the machine at work, the master of their fates. Nary a sound from the audience, neither student nor adult as their eyes remained affixed to the stage, affixed to the storm of emotions that was boiling over behind Marcella's charming young face. But then, another sound, a loud chime of a bell, followed by several gasps, including Daniella's.

She couldn't believe it, but there it was in bold green lettering upon the black, fuzzy screen: DOCTOR

Congratulations Marcella! Her mind was aflutter with such cheerful emotions, applauding with all in the auditorium. What a wonderful career it would be for the Italian, to use her hands and her mind to help those in dire need. And surely, a kind soul as Marcella's would never discriminate between aristocrat and metalheart. She grinned ear to ear, her hands clapping as she looked to her upon the stage. Daniella couldn't help but feel happy for her, yet....she would be next of course. Here's to hoping the gods are not cruel to me. Mother, father...I know what you want, but all I ask for...is your love, not your approval.

Still, even if she was plagued by such uncertainty in her thoughts, she kept applauding and cheering for Marcella, until the applause died and the next name was called, Cooper's. Well, this one should be easy to determine, but a surprise it would be if the girl was chosen for something other than the toiling, tedious work of a metalheart.
If we die in a dream, we wake up in reality. So...if we die in reality...do we wake up in a dream?

Slumped into the uncomfortable seat of a rickety town bus, packed to the brim with people she was about to slaughter if they stepped on her feet again, a dark haired girl with ghostly white complexion and eyes crimsoned sat in a dismal, empty gaze out the window at the passing countryside. Job For a Cowboy blaring through the black and red skullcandies in her ears, the city, dirty and dangerous, had faded from her sight a sparse few moments ago, the cracked, filthy pavement spattered with dry blood, the back alleys littered with trash and sordid deeds, the skyscrapers that played witness to many a gruesome and horrid spectacle, they were all but distant memories now to her, Evelyn Nazareth Thorne.

"The fuck are you looking at, grandma?" She hissed at an old lady giving her a glare that pretty much said burn in Hell. Merely she ignored the other scrutinizing, condescending glances she received from the bus passenger, pushing past the crowds and shoulder checking a few people carelessly, on her way towards the front and out onto the sidewalk, clutching in her hand her prized guitar, The Hymn of Thanatos nestled safely in a black hardcase crudely plastered with stickers from every band, from Anthrax to Butcher Babies to Dethklok, slung over her left shoulder a drab, olive green military duffel bag also adorned with several other stickers and patches from metal bands.

She was here, a new city, a new life....well...at least Evelyn hoped it would go that way.
@Letmehaveone2 Sweeeet! ^o^ I'll have a post up short...ish.
@Otaku95

A shy disappointed was she, slightly frowning, but nevertheless accepting. ~"Perhaps you are right."~ She sighed. Her reputation? As what? A spoiled rich brat from a family that measured the weight of her worth in her victories on the battlefield? A spiteful, arrogant wretch who most girls approached as if she were a flame of Hell waiting to devour their souls? And let's not forget....someone who couldn't even protect their own sister from the black, skeletal hand of death... ~"Although..."~ Her tone a bit proud of herself, rather haughty as she crossed her arms grimacing. ~"I could care less of their opinions. I am my own woman who shapes the very path I shall follow. Hanazono Asuka listens to no one....no one..."~ But empty again was her voice, for even if she did believe it....twas merely a lie.

@Bryn @sassy1085 @Framing A Moose

Well, at least Higuchi-senpai knew a little english, though flawed a bit. Still, it made the situation a little less awkward for Tohru.
