She warned her not to look at them, but even so it didn't matter. Kaname and Yuki knew they were there. Tohru could feel their eyes upon her, like two glinting, insidious daggers to stabilize into her back. Surely they wouldn't be so foolish to attack now, not when far too many eyes and ears were present to bear witness, but the glimmer in the eyes of the white haired third year said otherwise, casting a glare and a smirk akin to a hungry serpent ready to devour her hapless prey.
Then, much to Tohru's dismay...they moved closer.
"Ah, good morning to you, honorable Prince." Kaname purred taking the seat beside her and scooting closer, Yuki doing the same with Rin. "I see your wounds have healed quite nicely. That's good. It would be shameful to kill you in your weak state."
Tohru, it was clear Kaname was digging into her flesh with her false sincerity, what a pitiful ruse when she knew all along this girl intended to kill her. How uncomfortable it felt, the two terrors leering over her. "You're luckyI don't report you to Higuchi-Senpai, especially after what you did." She hissed back at them, both only scoffing at her heated threat. "And what, dear Prince?" Yuki added snickering. "Have Higuchi-Senpai give us detention, get us expelled? Like that will stop me and Kaname-Sama from slitting your throat." Then she grabbed Rin by her hair, a twisted, childish grin. "Yours too you little brat."
"You leave her out of this dammit! Tohru suddenly growled slapping Yuki's hand away from Rin, gaining her a mocking sneer from the creepy pink haired girl. "Your fight is with me, understand? I won't have you dragging Rin-San into this!"
"If that is your wish, Tohru-san. Kaname sighed stretching and yawning. "Then by all means, we won't harm the girl. You..on the other hand...will be dead before sundown. Enjoy the rest of your day, honorable Prince, because your last breath here...will be your first in Hell."

Heavens... she must have been in some sort of trance, some euphoric state induced by her constant languid eyes upon Ryuko-chan. Though she indeed hung onto every word spoken by the girl, her mind seemed to drift, escape to a world of her own design where she felt safe...and above all things...happy. Twas as if experiencing a visual representation of what she explained.
~"Huh? Wha..?"~ She shook herself out of it, nervously fumbling her speech. ~"W-Why yes, Ryuko-chan. I'm sorry. I must not be feeling well. I wouldn't want you to think I was ignoring you."~ She said sincerely. ~"But you are right. Combat is indeed different. I...I guess you could say I've dealt with almost the same."~ She sighed, her lip lowering into a frown. ~"Akuma no Hime isn't the best title for garnering friends. In fact, just spoken it instills nothing...nothing but fear, disdain, and ostracism. At times, I too needed an escape from this world and its cruelty. Maybe that's why I enjoy the art of the sword and the rush of combat, because it makes me feel something....powerful."~

She is just so innocent... What better word could describe her, her actions, her emotions, just all too endearing to Asuka. She giggled lightly, her sapphire eyes shimmering in the gilded glow of the early sun. ~"You're such a darling, Ryuko-chan, but yes, I'm perfectly fine my dear. It's quite amusing how entranced you become in your music."~ The song of which she knew, such irony. Was it even possible for any to give sympathy to such a vile, loathsome creature as she? Someone who was born to instill fear into her enemies, to crush and to dominate with her sword clenched in her bloody hand? Was it possible to show compassion for such. Asuka...she didn't believe so. I can't take it... Ryuko-chan, she's just so beautiful, so adorable, I can't wait to hold her in my arms, but...in my heart...I know... When she discovers the real me, the true Akuma no Hime...I know she will run from me. Ryuko-chan...I don't deserve you.

"Eh...?" She had to tilt her head at the mention of such. Why, in all her duels, never had she heard of such outrageous terms, and dare she say quite humiliating as well. A dumbfounded face she wore for the duration, unable to comprehend such, until she shook herself out of it giving a reply, "Well..umm...that's definitely outlandish, Rin-san, but at least you did the honorable thing and spared her further humiliation. I respect you for that." She smiled giving Rin a friendly wink. "Still, I find it strange that Yuuko-San would make such bizarre terms, even going so far as to deface herself should she had lost the battle." Tohru guessed they would never know why. Leaning back in her chair she stifled a yawn and looked around the classroom, suddenly her eyes going wide with the color draining from her face. They were here...in the room....the both of them. "Rin-san...whatever you do, don't look back." Hoarse was her whisper, her eyes so full of fear.
They may not have had their masks or their blades, but still, the two deadly assassins intimidated Tohru...just by their presence alone. She was praying to Amaterasu above they didn't spot her and Rin, when in fact...they did.
