So your saying that even though it's stated in the lore that is quite easy to start a settlement in the Eastern Forest, and even though 15 years have passed since that became the case, there's nowhere nearby where I can sell a weapon?

Backstory: While on an expedition in the North a group of mages discovered a large man frozen inside of a glacier. Using magic, they thawed the man out of the ice to study him. The mages assumed they would be dealing with little more than a centuries old corpse protected from the ravages of time by its icy tomb. But upon being freed from the ice, the man sprung to life and began yelling at the mages in an unknown language. After managing to calm the man down, they spent the next few weeks teaching and learning many things from the man they would come to know as Fahall. Though he did not remember much of his past, it was theorized by the mages that Fahall that he was born in a time before Khoyee had been shrouded in storms. And from what Fahall could remember, the mages determined that Fahall had been a high ranking soldier in the armies of a kingdom that had made its home in the north before it was destroyed by the storms. Once the mages had learned all they could from Fahall, they began parading him about the land and showing him off to gain notability from their academic peers. Not content with being used as a common show pony, Fahall parted ways with the mages and began wandering the land in search of fortune, glory, and a decent drink.

A shot way above the palisade, an aarakocra could be seen flying overhead from 1 side of the area to the other. Like all other aarakocra, Tekdek did not enjoy confined spaces but very much enjoyed being in the air. And so it was that Tekdek found himself about 20 above the palisade, picking out people from the crowd that wore the same yellow arm sash as he did. With his avian perception, Tekdek spotted the others who shared his sash color with relative ease. So far he had spotted a high elf ranger, a forest gnome druid, a human barbarian, a human warlock, and a hill dwarf cleric. Tekdek was fairly certain there were more yellow sash bearers, but he had become to distracted to properly locate them. The source of his distraction was the kobold standing standing on the stage deep in conversation with those around her. She probably didn't remember him, but Tekdek remembered her all too well. Were it not for her timely intervention 2 years ago, Tekdek would have met his death at the hands of an orc raiding party just 2 months after coming of age. Now he had the chance to repay that kindness by serving under his saviour. Tekdek was joining the Hero Guard, no matter what it took to do so.
