Story

You have been invited to Hope's Peak Academy, a school for extremely talented high schoolers. That talent doesn't necessarily have to be academic, but there is something that you're exceptional at. Shocked, surprised, and excited you prepare to leave for school there. Upon arrival, you take a few steps in and suddenly everything goes black. You awake to find yourself in one of the classrooms in the academy. The windows are bolted closed and cameras are everywhere. "What kind of school is this?"

Rules

• No powerplay, godmodding, metagaming, etc
• No 18+ stuff please
• My word is law, but feel free to point out my flaws.
• Your character almost definitely WILL die, so no being upset when and if it happens.
• In addition to the above rule, any player inactive for longer than a week may be subject to having their character killed by Monokuma due to rules violation.

Unique RP Mechanics

• Killings, attempted killings, and private meetings will take place in PM, with me as a third wheel.
• "Class Trials" will determine who the class thinks is responsible for the killings, the one chosen will be punished, and if the wrong culprit is chosen, all innocent characters will be punished. All evidence will be given to you, through one means or another.

Personality:
Shay is EXTREMELY friendly and outgoing. She loves to meet new people, sometimes foolishly so. She also loves the outdoors and traveling, as her family often goes on vacation to Hoen. Although she is outgoing, Shay tends to shy away in the face of danger, having lived in Hoen while Team Magma and Team Aqua were running wild. Also, if sombody asks about her family or past, she will instantly withdraw from the conversation.

History:
Born in the Hoen Region, Shay lived a peaceful life on an island north of Mossdeep City.

When she turned 8, her and her family moved to Kalos. She instantly made new friends in Kalos, but never looked back at Hoen except when she was on vacation there. She always said "This is now, and I need to focus on it or I might get lost."

When she was 14 her mother gave her an egg as her birthday present. Her mother told her that that it would be a little piece of Hoen. when it hatched, Shay was delighted to see the baby skitty that was all hers. Having Skitty Inspired her to want to become a Pokemon Breeder.

Somewhere on the coast of the Kalos region, 12:05 AM
Two mysterious figures walked along the beach, both appear to be female. The one closer to the sea has a long lab coat on and the one further has a sort of strange uniform on. The first woman looks at the second and mumbles something about stones and pokemon, then he reaches into his pocket and retrieves a stone that has an odd rainbow pattern.

The second woman turns to face the first, "Excellent..." he chuckled, clearly pleased, "Have you sabotaged the documents that were submitted to the Professor on this subject?"

"Yessir!" said the first woman said, raising one arm in a salute.

Lumiose City Pokemon Lab, The day before, 12:39 PM
Professor Sycamore leaned over the desk where a pile of paperwork sat. Most of it was for the next day's event but deeply shuffled in was a report on Mega Evolution that one of his apprentices had done. The event tomorrow was the talk of the city, Sycamore would give away pokemon to any aspiring trainers in the area. The sanctuary attached to the back of the lab had long held many species of pokemon, but by the afternoon the giant glass dome was bound to be nearly empty. Sycamore looked up to see his assistant standing nearby. "Hey, could you help me out with something...."

The day of the event has arrived. You are in Lumiose city, you got here somehow, wether you live here, moved here, or traveled here, and you're excited to get your first pokemon so you can start your journey. Not long until it starts, better get going, but be aware, not everything in Kalos is nice and happy....
