Personality:Jordan would describe herself as a Happy go-lucky kind of gal. She rarely judges people and prefers to try and get along with everyone. Despite this attitude, there is a mean- sadistic part of her that comes out when she is provoked or heavily intoxicated, which given her love for alcohol should be pretty often. She also secretly enjoys a fight, and loves nothing more than going out for a night out and having a few drinks before pummelling someone. No-one ever suspects the innocent girl to pack a heavy punch.
History/Bio: Born in Nashville to two Magi parents, Jordan lived a fairly quiet and normal life in the south. Her parents made her aware of magic at a young age and her responsibility in protecting it's secrets. It wasn't until her teenage years did she start to rebel and lash out from her 'perfect' upbringing. Things finally came to a head with her family and at the age of 18 she was kicked out of her family home, her parents having enough of her rebellious ways. While they cared about her, she needed to make her own mistakes.

While her family thought she wouldn't be able to cope, Jordan took to it like a fish to water. She crashed at friends places and it was at this point in her life that she finally met her dearest friend of all: Alcohol. While her friends all betrayed her, Alcohol never did. In the end she started stealing from friends to feed her habit. It didn't take long for her to be ran out of town with her 'issue'.

Since then she has been making her way up the east coast, drinking, smooching and stealing where needed. He happy demeanour got her invited to more parties, which involved more alcohol. Eventually she ended up in NYC and this was where she met the Salem and discovered the Guild. She was eventually recruited and made her way to Member, despite turning up to only half the classes, and arriving to the ones upon which she did attend, full on plastered.

In terms of the power it is something that we are willing to go for, however the only thing I would ask is for some detail on its upper limit. Otherwise we could just say that Lex can go super saiyan halfwayy through the RP xD

Thanks for your character submission. I have just finished glancing over it and I won't sugar coat it: m This time around the character sheet is declined.

Let me make it clear that it isn't anything wrong with your writing ability. That is perfectly fine, however this time it is the power that I don't approve of. We have already had to decline one person for spirit powers, so I would feel slightly. Hypocritical if I allowed another one through.

Obviously as a GM the idea of poessing people is an red flag right away. The amount of abuse and power play that could bring in is disasterific. I am not saying you would, but in the previous two iterations of this RP things have broken down over powers and people potentially using them to meta, even if they never did use them. So this time I am trying to avoid this outright.

Spirits don't really exist in this universe. When you die, you die. There are a few things related to soul magic (But that would be spoilers if I revealed more) but even that gets close to necromancy.

I hope you understand and are not angry by my decision. If you were willing to change the power then there is no reason why we couldn't accept you.

Here are my more refined ideas, in order of how excited I am to play them.

Hider

Hallucinations - As title. Alters peoples perceptions of sensory input. In order for this to work, something more or less has to be there in the first place. The user can make a sound feel louder, a touch feel like it burns, or a park bench grow teeth and start viciously snapping, but can't make them perceive something that has no basis in reality. No physical change is made to the object, only the subject's perception of it. Note that harm cannot be done through making hot sand on a beach look and feel like lava, though making lava look like honey will obviously cause harm to the one hallucinating if they decide to go eat some. Direct mind control is NOT achievable through this, the subject is still free to react in a characteristic manner.

Trance - The ability to gain supernatural effects through meditation. Different trance effects can be gained through performing different trances. Each trance must last at least an hour before any effects are gained and may only be cast upon the user, but can provide potent effects. Stuff like granting super-focus, super-speed, additional charisma. No additional abilities may be gained through this, as in one may not gain pyrokenisis through trance, only enhancements of natural abilities (excepting the ability to use trance).

Concrete - Think less of telekinetic control of concrete, more of a touch based control. While in physical contact with concrete, it can be crumbled, thrown, swung, or otherwise manipulated without reverting it to liquid, reshaping it while maintaining mass, or otherwise causing it to behave differently from how concrete actually behaves.
That being said, kenesis isn't impossible with this ability, but the nature of concrete makes it quite difficult unless it's been broken up. I've put this here as a safe option, but I'm vastly more excited for the other two.

He has also started to learn the basics of creating wards, able to protect himself from incoming damage, since his engagements with Salem have become significantly more difficult.

Personality: Devilish, Overconfident and conniving would be the three best words to describe Aloysius as he got older. Proud of his heritage and snobbish to anyone who isn't, his evil streak has gotten worse over the past few years. He has developed a sadistic streak, enjoying mental torture and torment. Almost always bearing a grin or a smirk, Aloysius has convinced himself of his superiority over others and while this can be true in most cases, it has caused him to get into some perilous situations in the past. There is however a much more sheepish side of Aloysius that breaks through at times, despite how hard the sadistic, egotistical part of Aloysius tries to suppress it.

History/Bio: Aloysius had the privilege of being born into one of the four great magical lineages in the world. And while the de Silva's had ruled for longer than Aloysius had been born, his status did bring about a certain kind of upbringing. Born to a British Mother and a Japanese Father and growing up in upper class England, Aloysius was bought up with a sense of entitlement and superiority over others.

His mother was the one who had the magic powers, his father being a non-magi who had no idea the kind of power that coursed through his sons veins. So instead his father focused on his business, an armaments business that he inherited from Aloysius's grandfather. When Aloysius was around 10 Years old the family moved over the United States. Unfortunately, his father died two months later under especially suspicious circumstances. Rather conveniently his mother stood to gain the family fortune. In a cruel twist of fate for the egotistical women, when the will was revealed the fortune was split in half between his mother and Aloysius.

So aged 11, Aloysius was set for life and stuck in a country where he had no friends and most certainly did not fit in. It was around this time that he began to discover the magic power inside him. Given his heritage, Aloysius was going to need special training to contain and hone his powers. Standard Guild training was not going to be enough, so he was enrolled into special classes with the Guild Senior leadership.

It was at this time that he met Salem for the first time, the prestigious daughter of the Guild Leader and heir to the Guild. Many expected them to become rivals, just like the families of the past. But while they didn't become best of friends, they most certainly got along. Some of them even expected them to get together. His mother could saw Salem as a threat, an attempt by the de Silva's to weaken and eliminate the Legihton's the history books. She began to manipulate Aloysius, convincing him that Salem was going to backstab him when he came of age and that he needed to strike first.

Once he turned 18 he stormed away from the Guild, rather than joining up and started his own little rebellion. Salem's father decided to take a rather pacifist approach to Alysious's rebellion and paid the ultimate price when just after his 19th birthday, him and his Dark Shadow "Misfits" attacked the Guild and killed him.

Salem was shortly confirmed into power and suddenly everything changed. The Guild went from pacifist to all out war overnight. Salem wagered an overnight war over the Dark Shadow, wiping them off the map and forcing them underground. It took a whole 3 years for him to come out of hiding and starting to rebuild, and hopefully this time, he would get to Salem before she got to him.
