Jason chortled as he drew his sword. Pointing it at the beast, as his free hand unclasped his messenger bag. The Kopis felt natural in his hand. Weight for him, it was nice, but it wasn't really his style. At least this fight would get them to fight as a team. Spinning the sword in his hand, began to take charge of the situation. The natural leadership of his parentage coming through. "Split into three teams. We don't have to win, just buy some time." Jason called to the assembled group. He moved around to the left of the creature, lightning beginning to crackle around his blade. "Those with environmental powers create a barrier. A ravine, a wall of fire, anything." He swung his sword at the Drakon, discharging the built up lightning. "You'll be playing defence, keeping it away from Tony." Jason leapt back to narrowly avoid a spurt of the corrosive venom. "Those with offensive powers, move around, and attack from the sides. You'll be less at risk of the acid spurts." Jason began swirling a disc of air in the palm of his left hand. "Those without combat powers, or weapons, stay out of the way, and help any of us who fall." He flicked out his left arm, letting the air disc to launch out and ricochet harmlessly off the scales. "Oh, and you two..." He pointed at the two who had bows and arrows. "It should go without saying, but use us as a distraction, and hit those eyes." He said pointing at the creature's eyes. This momentary break in concentration got Jason smacked across the field. Skidding to a halt about fifty metres away, face down in the dirt.
Hi, y'all can call me Sanity. I'm on Australian Eastern Standard time (AEST).

Name: Numair al-Din, Member of the Order of the Raven
Age: 23
Gender: male
Race: human
Personality: Numair is slow to anger but can be merciless and relentless once a situation has escalated to violence. He'd rather eat his armour than admit when he's wrong. Numair fights for those who cannot fight for themselves. Taking great pride in pride in protecting the downtrodden. He works by a work hard play hard attitude. Seeing that he must earn his rest, he often works very hard when given a task, so that he may rest, knowing he has done a good job.
Appearance: Numair al-Din is about 5'11 with an athletic build, from a childhood of combat training. He keeps his blonde hair short. He is often seen wearing the junior uniform of the Order of the Raven. A mix of leather, mail and plate armours. Designed for maximum protection of vital areas, while retaining good mobility. On his hip, he carries a rapier and a shortsword. With an additional dagger sheathed on the small of his back, and in his boot.
Class: Eldritch Knight
The archetypal Eldritch Knight combines the martial mastery common to all fighters with a careful study of magic. Eldritch Knights use magical techniques similar to those practised by wizards. They focus their study on two of the eight schools of magic: abjuration and evocation. Abjuration spells grant an Eldritch Knight additional protection in battle, and evocation spells to deal damage to many foes at once, extending the fighter's reach in combat. These knights learn a comparatively small number of spells, committing them to memory instead of keeping them in a spellbook.

Story:

Motive: A member of the Order of the Raven must prove themselves before they can be knighted. Defending the kingdom is one of the simpler ways of doing this.
Approved.

Bio: Quincy was born in L.A. California to very superstitious parents they had always been about healing crystals and such and for a while Quincy thought they were crazy. So once he was old enough to move out he flew the coop as fast as humanly possible and moved to Brooklyn . He passed by Brokmarts multiple times never knowing it's secret. He had always been a reader so every once in a while he would think of going into the little bookstore but never acted on it. That was until he got a epilogue in one of his books telling him to go to the little bookstore. Figuring why not as he enjoyed reading anyways he walked to the bookstore and was surprised when it turned out to be a school for people with magical aptitude and after taking the tests found out his discipline turned out to be Knowledge.

Here is my dude

The Guardians nodded at the replacement. Humans had traditionally had a good track record within the Corps, so having one on the team shouldn't hurt, even if he was a bit green. "As far as we can tell, that armour seems to possess a similar output as your rings." A Guardian spoke. "However, instead of forming constructs, it seems to be geared towards doing the opposite." Ona rubbed his chin. This plan surely sounded like it wasn't going to work. The security footage they just saw showed that their construcs weren't going to be enough. Then they were told that the armour of their enemy seemingly countered their only weapons. "They might be immune to your rings, but the scans look like they may be vulnerable to conventional weaponry. The defensive capabilities seem aligned to defending against the green light of willpower." Ona clued onto what they were hinting at. "You will learn to not rely on your rings. At least not on this specific opponent." The Guardian elaborated. "Go now. Strids, is a weapon dealer. We have offered him a reduced sentence if he supplied you with alternative munitions for this mission. He can get just about anything short of a power ring."

Ona was sceptical. He had grown used to using his ring, and now he had to incorporate a new weapon into his arsenal. One that wouldn't feel as natural as a construct. He turned to see an alien entering the hall. He nodded, recognising the being as the Weapon Dealer the Guardian's spoke of.

An explosion racked the sector house.
A figure stepped through the new hole in the side of the structure. "You can't be here." The Lantern Inside said, pointing their fist at the intruder. "Who is going to stop me?" The intruder said calmly. "You?" He asked before chuckling to himself. A green blast flashed across the room. The lantern lowered his arm, after the blast. Thinking the threat passed. However, the chucking started up again. "You think that can stop me." The Lantern shocked, whipped their arm back up, forming chains around the intruder. "No, you can't." The intruder shrugged off the chains. Shattering them like they weren't even there. "I know your Guardians will hear this. The intruder spoke, referring to the security recording that the Guardians were showing the four lanterns. "Gaurdians of the Universe." The intruder spoke, ignoring the lantern before him, as they tried to rain construct attacks onto the intruder. "We, the Risen Demons are coming for you, and your Corps.

With that, the security hologram ended. The Guardians looking down on the four Green Lanterns they had summoned. "As you can see, Ben, Elderayne, Ona, Dorg, this threat is grave." One of the Guardians spoke. "Such a threat cannot go unanswered." Another spoke. "You four have been selected to investigate these, Risen Demons." The stakes were high. Should the four lanterns fail to stop the Risen Demons, an attack on Oa would be imminent. Something the Guardians were not willing to risk. "You four will go to Sector 3595. Investigate what has happened there. Find out how to stop these new threats. Your sectors will be protected, and the lethal force limiters on your rings removed. These Risen Demons must be stopped at all costs."

Alrighty, the first post is up, it may not be much, but I chose to leave it open to you lot to see how your new characters will react to their new assignment. It'll get better once we start getting a feel for how each writes these characters.

Yeah, still need a few people.
All good. Dan is approved. You can move him over at your leisure.
I guess four is enough to start. So, I guess I'll start work on getting an opening post up, hopefully by tonight or tomorrow.
I was wondering what sort of technology is available to Vigil, and by extension the Hunters?
Would something like this be feasible?
