So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Who also happens to be gay.

Finnnnneeeee. It doesn't really bother me anyway, I just never saw the point to when they made him gay.

I was really thinking 'Deadpool' Colossus.

That one works. Stoic Gentleman Hero Colossus :P
As a Colossus fan can we not just have Stoic father figure Piotr?
@Dedonus @Fallenreaper told me to ask if there is a company I can use. Needs to be space based but I don't want to use one someone else is using because shit's not going to go well for it, and if I choose a company that someone else is using that means super-hero team up against my villain which would detract from your arc.
@SepI'm sorry. Arguing that Batman needs to be set up at this point is like arguing we need to explain how spaceships work in order to have a sci-fi movie.

I'm not asking him to be set up, or an origin story or anything like that. He needs introduced to the Cinematic Universe so we know where he stands. Instead of just BAM, BvS.

Ditto with Spider-Man

Dat. But at least Spider-man is one of two being introduced, and Marvel already has a Cinematic Universe. They aren't just throwing names into a hat.
Why does everyone forget about the lovely @Hillan? :P

How do you figure that? Batman's been on the big screen for years.

Cinematic appearance in the DC Cinematic Universe.

I don't think I agree nor does WB.

Iron Man 3 got $174,144,585 on the opening weekend alone. That proves that Solo Films can do it on their own, okay sure that was post-Avengers but if we go with IM1 it made $98,618,668 and it started the Cinematic Universe. Which is still more than a lot of the other Marvel Movies. Then add on top of that there's a bigger desire now for comic book movies than there was a couple of years ago, throw DC into the ring who have had barely any movies and you got a lot of money.

I just think it would work better, flow smoother, if they ran up to it. Instead we have Batman V.S. Superman co-starring Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Doomsday, Lex Luthor, Aquaman (all on screen) and at least a mention of a Robin and/or a Joker. Avengers had these characters all set up, hell I didn't know who Flash was till a couple of years ago and only found out who Doomsday was once I googled him a couple of Months back. New fans are going to have no clue what the fuck is going on, and that's not a good thing. As lets also remember, while Batman doesn't really need an origin, that this is Batmans first cinematic appearance.

if I appear ranty it's just how I phrase things. I'm actually enjoying this.

While yes, they would have but they cannot allow the market be unchallenged. They need to define competition so they can make more money than they would if they took their time.

Hell, if the first JLA movie had happened it would've been right around the first Avengers movie's time (maybe before) if I recall correctly... but Nolan wasn't playing ball and other factors made the project die out.

DC don't need the Justice League to compete. Characters like Superman (Through an unfiltered lens preferably), Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman and I suppoooose Aquaman could have made money on their own. Even if they released the films within a year or so (Which is possible for big studio films such as WB) to bring the Justice League about faster, it would have been better than shoehorning as many people in to one movie as possible without any explanation.

We went into the first Avengers, and comic background or no. You knew exactly who Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk were. If you were paying attention you even knew Widow and Hawkeye.
<Snipped quote>

No duh?

What I mean is, yes that's a good goal. Though did they need to rush it? They would still have made money if they took their time.
