Skills/Abilities:

• Skilled in Form IV, trained in Soresu and Jar'kai.
• Force Speed - Sometimes moving fast works better than being able to hit hard. It's also useful for getting past opponents.
• Force Revitalize - Sometimes you don't have enough time to rest, as such Rad has trained in using the Force to help replenish his body.
• Force Psychometry - By no means an expert through extensive training he can gain impressions and feelings from an object from when it was last held or from a extremely emotional event.
• Detective - He's an investigator for the Jedi because he's good at it. With a keen eye for detail, and a knack for following clues.
• Stealthy - Using a lightsaber doesn't always work, he's used to also having to sneak himself in or out of places. This includes rudimentary slicing skills.
• Blaster trained - He's occasionally had to work undercover, with a lightsaber being a dead giveaway he's had to learn how to use less sophisticated weapons.
• Pilot - He's no ace, but he can fly.

• A blue bladed Interlocking hilt lightsaber. He tends to wield only one in combat, and carry them detatched however if the situation requires he will dual wield or connect them together.

• While he typically wears a suit in combat like the one in the picture he is also known to often don a more rouge like appearance

Personality:

Rad doesn't believe in the Black and White philosphy of most Jedi, believing that an entire spectrum exists inbetween. Like most Revanchists he exists in that spectrum. He has a need for speed, and a need for adventure which is one of the reasons while it's difficult living a double life that he enjoys it so much. Loyal to a fault, and while sometimes he does perform questionable deeds such as killing a criminal or smuggling in order to gain information he is at heart a good person.

Despite his difference in opinion with the Jedi on Alaris Prime and the High Council on Coruscant he is firmly loyal to the order and believes that what they are doing is good and necessary, feeling that their refusal to join the war and serve with the Republic Military under the senate is a good thing. Though believes they should never have stopped those willing to do so from joining.

History:

Rad was born to a pretty standard family, his parents were couriers and as such he spent a lot of time traveling from planet to planet in his early years. It was in one of these planets, a desert world with two suns, where his parents were attacked by a band of thieves intending to steal his parents ship. His parents livelihood. If not for the timely intervention of a Jedi Twi'lek his parents would have surely lost the vessel to the band of rogues. That was when the Force Potential of young Rad was discovered.

The Jedi convinced Rads parents that the boy should be trained in order to become a Jedi, telling them that it would be best if they said their goodbyes as they were unlikely to see him again. Rad didn't fully understand the reason for the sad send off but it was the last time he saw his parents, he never found out what happened to them. Taken to the temple of Alaris Prime he entered his training to one day become a Jedi Knight. Throughout his training he was restless, finding more calm in the training with a lightsaber than the utilization of the Force. Largely because he hated being still, however despite this he still managed to be at an acceptable level of training at eleven years old to go through the initiate trials. He was inquisitve always looking for answers, able to spot the small details.

Which is why when he passed the Initiate Trials a Jedi Investigator by the name of Rorwoor took him in to train him. For the first couple of years most of their training didn't involve anything more than peacekeeping, due to the fact Rad had difficulty understanding Rorwoor at first. However as their training progressed Rad gained a reasonable understanding of the language and they began working on cases. This is where Rads independence came from, quite often Rad and Rorwoor couldn't enter a situation at the same time and especially not following the Master and Apprentice roles they were given while trying to go incognito as that just screamed that they were Jedi. Sometimes they split up, sometimes they acted like Rad was the master and Rorwoor his slave.

By the time Rad was eighteen he had built his skills in a very specific direction, his lightsaber combat style and the Force practices all geared towards the element of speed. Giving him the ability to run and move far faster than anyone else who didn't have training. His theory being that speed was one of the most important aspects of the job, whereas Rorwoor insisted that it was all about patience in order to get the job done right. This was the start of the divide between the Master and Apprentice. Two years later however despite Rorwoor not wholly agreeing with how Rad did things couldn't dispute the skill of the young Jedi and put him forward for the trial into Knighthood. Rad Zann became a Jedi Knight.

Following the footsteps of his master Rad became a Jedi Investigator, focusing on hunting down the scum and villainy of the Galaxy that no-one else dared to chase. His first real case was against a pirate by the name of Three-Arms. A ruthless Besalisk pirate, and so he did what any good investigator would do and went undercover. Unskilled in the use of mind tricks Rad had to genuinely work his way into the organisation, joining a pirate crew he assisted in their raids keeping his true identity secret though working hard to never actually kill a target.

While he had known about the Jedi ability of Psychometry he had never given it much thought until these days, where after picking up a sabaac deck dropped by someone who died as a result of his work undercover he gained a flash of images showing the beings last moments. Rad made the decision that he wasn't going to bring Three-Arms back in alive. It took him another year to be trusted enough to be on the same ship as Three-Arms. When he claimed to kill a Jedi he took the lightsabers personally to Three-Arms to give him his prize.

Igniting the blades he hadn't held for so long a short fight ensued and he killed the Pirate Warlord. When the unexpected happened and they offered to make him the Captain. He promptly refused and told them to change their career paths, or he'd be back for them. He took on the persona of a smuggler, Kit Duraan, after he gained a ship shortly afterwards. Deciding to live two lives, using Kit Duraan he built up an extensive list of contacts by performing jobs that he felt weren't overly illegal such as the running of spice and occasionally weapons. He knew that the Jedi wouldn't approve but for the little damage he was doing he was given so much more information. Even the ability to run jobs for a target let him know of their location, obviously not to give himself away he would wait several weeks after visiting someone as Kit Duraan before taking them down as Rad Zann.

This became his life. The double life wasn't simple but it got the job done, on one particular occasion he ended up (begrudgingly) working with another Jedi, Aadras Zoth. Aadras was chasing an infamous pirate group that had plagued an archaeological dig . Hunting them down he just so happened to chase down the smuggler Kit Duuran. On discovering his true identity he insisted that he tagged along to take down the pirates.

As the Mandalorian War broke out Rad saw the change in the politics of the Galaxy, as war spread so did lawlessness as the Republic had to divert it's attention to the impending threat. When hearing of what transpired at Cathar Rad didn't hesitate in joining the Revanchist cause.

Relationships and Acquaintances:

• Rorwoorr Longshadow - The Jedi Knight that trained him, while they do not see eye to eye on the level of involvement needed for the war.
• Aadras Zoth - One of the few Jedi who knows about his alter ego. Rad hasn't had much contact with this Jedi and doesn't even know his Padawan is the wookie he helped off Kashyyk.
• Grozbecca - Rad has never met the young Wookie himself. Though his former Master got in touch with him years ago to use what few contacts he had at the time to smuggle the young force sensitive off world.

Kal is a human of average height, standing 155 centimeters tall. His frame is lean and athletic. His brown hair is buzzed short and he is clean shaven. His skin is fair in color and his eyes are brown. A distinguishing feature that he possesses is the scar on his lower left cheek, the reminder of a childhood accident.

Skills/Abilities:

• Long Range Specialist - With his sniper rifle in hands, Kal is deadly from a distance. He's able to pick off targets with pure precision. His training has made him able to adapt to different distances and other variables.
• Stealth Training - Kal is also a danger at closer ranges, when stealthier tactics are needed. He has training with his stealth field generator, which bends light around him to create near invisibility. A favored tactic of his is to use the generator, plant a grenade, retreat, then activate the explosive.
• Agility - Kal's variant of armor is lighter, which allows for greater movement. Already not the largest of people, he uses his size and speed to get around the battlefield quickly, often climbing obstacles with his grappling hook to create places to snipe from.
• Scouting - Kal has received training for reconnaissance, he can identify enemies from a distance and is capable of scouting ahead of the rest of the team.
• Hand to Hand Combat - Kal was given the same martial arts training that other Troopers in the Republic Army received. While close range combat is not his specialty, he knows how to fight when its too close to use his rifle.

Equipment:

• Sniper blaster rifle - A variant of the standard Trooper's blaster rifle, its rate of fire is slower, but the individual shots are more powerful. A single headshot is enough to put down a target. The rifle itself is longer and harder to wield on the move. The sniper rifle has a capacity of 10 shots, it comes equipped with a bipod and a targeting scope.
• Standard blaster pistol
• Republic Trooper armor - A more lightweight varient of the standard Trooper's armor. Less protection for more movement.
• Vibrodagger
• Grappling hook with a wrist mounted launcher
• Macrobinoculars
• Commlink
• Ion grenades
• Fragmentation grenades
• Water canteen

Personality:
Kal is a sarcastic, positive man that like to look on the bright side of life. He's a friendly person that cares about his fellow soldiers and men. In bleak situations he likes to crack jokes to try to kill the tension. On the battlefield he's cautious and careful, his role as a long range marksman means he often only has one opportunity to succeed, he tries to never waste it. He doesn't have the greatest opinion of the Jedi, their insistence to fight over internal politics while the Mandalorians rampaged through the galaxy was not something he liked. But he knows they can be useful in combat and will try to his best to work with them.

He has an anger inside of him over the death of his parents, both were killed by Mandalorians in a raid of Corsin. That was the reason he joined up so willingly, he wanted to make sure no more families were torn apart by their savagery and a part of him wants revenge, though he's not that open about this opinion.

History:
Kal Vonden was born on the beautiful world of Corsin which is located in the Greater Plooriod sector in the Expansion Region of the galaxy. Kal was born a few days after the Plooriod 940, a major swoop race on Corsin. His father Gil Vonden was a famous swoop racer who won the latest edition of the race. He was an only child, who lived in the tropical islands of the gorgeous world. His family was well off and he lived in relative luxury for much of his childhood.

Kal's mother made sure that he focused on school, she did not want him following in his father's footsteps as a swoop racer, a thrilling but dangerous sport. She made sure Kal kept his grades up and he did, he was a good student. After finishing schooling on Corsin, Kal decided to move offworld to attend the University of Coruscant. While he was hesitant to leave his homeworld and travel such a distance, both his parents encouraged it.

The move to the jewel of the Republic was a strange one to the young Kal, the hustle and bustle of Coruscant was a far different from the peacefulness of Corsin. He enjoyed his life there, he had to admit there was much more to do on the world than on Corsin. He had been studying when first word of the Mandalorians spread, after hearing of Corsin's raid he was striken by emotion. Both of his parents were killed, grief striken and wanting revenge, Kal enlisted in the Republic Army shortly after they began engaging the Mandalorians.

Training was difficult, unlike anything he'd ever done before. But he was driven to succeed. He'd already dropped out of school and made the decision to enlist. His parents would have supported his enlistment, they would have scolded him deeply if he quit. Kal fought through training, impressing his superiors particularly in firearms training. Shortly after completing his training, Kal was sent into battle. The Mandalorians were unlike any other force he'd seen. Avoiding death and taking out some enemies, Kal survived first combat.

He's impressed in the combat missions he's taken a part of, and has since joined IRSOG. Kal keeps telling himself he's prepared and it will go swimmingly, but he's nervous, though he'll never let that show.
