Roles have been generated; PM goes out later today.

Looks we're at five players, which means the setup changes to Dethy.

In this setup, each player gets assigned one of the roles in the list below. Each protagonist can investigate another player at night, and they get a free investigation before the first day phase. A character's alignment gets revealed upon death (pro or antagonist), but not their sanity. I'll send out the roles in PM; keep them secret until the game ends for everyone, and do not share the result of your investigation.

  • Antagonist
    • Killer - Secretly kills one person at night
  • Protagonist - Sanity is hidden and not revealed until the game ends
    • Sane - Investigation reveals the true alignment of target
    • Insane - Investigation reveals the opposite alignment of target
    • Paranoid - Investigation always reveals antagonist
    • Naive - Investigation always reveals protagonist

Any questions before we begin?
@Peik @carla6677 @baraquiel, last day before the game starts.

I see you, @Skelm.
I'm good with whatever. Maybe by the time a first game finishes, it'll present enough draw to get a bigger second game

Yeah, I bet some people are hesitant on joining because they haven't seen a mafia game being played on the guild before. Hopefully we can get more people interested.
Lovers mafia also looks interesting, but that requires the GM to play a character, right?

Nah, we'd only do Lovers Mafia if we end up with six players. It won't be fair for me to play and GM the same time.
Alright, here's the plan.

We'll start as soon as we get two more characters in. If we can't reach seven players before this weekend, we'll switch to a five or six-player setup instead. So far, I'm planning on using one of these alternate setups:
