Stuff's happening. If you were on the Discord you'd know. Some matches are finished besides commentary.

Starring: Gib-Gab and Rif-Raf
Location: Math class.
Time: 11:50 am
Featuring: @Silent Observer

Gabriela Garcia, despite appearances, was smart. She was sitting in math, leaning back in her chair, finished with today's work, and she had also finished her homework too. It was ten minutes until the bell, and she wasn't allowed to leave. 'Somebody shoot me now,' she thought to herself. She really ought to have paced herself with the math questions, but she got carried away. When she started math, she couldn't stop. It was addictive, like a drug. Man, she really was a nerd! Didn't hurt that trigonometry was one of the easier fields, or at least easiest to power through very fast.

Still, this gave her time to think, and on the topic of drugs, last night's meetup for tacos was very fun! She still couldn't quite believe that she dolled herself up solely for the sake of Raf's reaction, but she'd never had a guy tell her she was pretty before. How do all the other girls in this school handle that kind of power without letting it go to their head? Maybe they didn't. Maybe that's why so many of them were vapid preps, and Gabby would have to be more careful from now on to avoid becoming one of them. She was a nerd and she had loyalties to her nerd brethren!

Besides, she didn't want to be too forward. That's not who she was. She was chill. She was looking for friendship and laughs together and hanging out. She was not ready for a relationship yet, and she doubted that Raf was either. Or if he thought he was, he was mistaken. A big part of why he liked him was that he was endearing and the most chilled guy she knew, and a geek to the core. He might ruin that by growing up or sorting his life out. Would he even be Raf anymore?

She couldn't forget about everyone else either. Rose seemed like an incredibly fun and kooky person to be around, and wanted to hang with her a lot more. Q was the slightly more level-headed one and A Dubs was a typical stoner. He didn't seem as fun as the rest of them, but he was definitely chill, and it's better to be no fun than have no chill. The ideal meetup would definitely need Wyatt and A dubs to balance out Rose and herself, and Q to give the meetup it's structure and backbone. Up until now she hadn't thought of Wyatt. She didn't know him very well. She didn't know any of them that well, admittedly. Not even Raf.

At that moment, in a moment of perfect timing that proved that the universe wasn't totally random, Gab's phone buzzed. She discreetly checked it under her desk. It was from Raf!

"hey, we're gonna grab wings and tato wedges from the place down the street for lunch, wanna come?"

She discreetly texted back.

"Sure! Sounds like fun! I'll wait for you at the entrance! :D"

She pocketed her phone and smiled to herself. Her school life was really starting to look up this week! Things were kicking off!
In celebration of reaching 200 IC posts, I decided to make a post of every single header used in the first 200 posts (excluding pics, gifs, character names, group names I.E. ‘The X Siblings’, and 'The Party'), because why not? It's worthy of celebration!

Mako: "I'm a fun teacher!...Right?"

Duncan's just happy to be in the same group as Sonia, so he can finally hit on her talk to her.

Kasuke Mina

The slam to the ground sent a shockwave of pain through Mina's body, and she lay there for an unnaturraly long time, breathing in controlled yet deep gasps. Very suddenly, she flipped back to her feet, though the moment she was upright again, staggered, and massaged her neck. She gritted her teeth, and her eyes were tearing up. Even without using her quirk, she should able to beat most of her classmates in combat. It was her injuries. They'd more or less recovered but they still ached and pulled and her back and shoulders were stiff. Every morning was complete agony until she'd done some stretches to loosen herself up. It was because she felt so weak right now that she was so desperate to prove her strength, and the reason she chose Dulga was that Dulga was not the type to pity her. They could fight fair, and Dulga wouldn't hold back. Of course, Mina didn't know that Dulga was holding back, and Mina was in denial that she herself was holding back as to not injure herself again. Even so, she knew that something had to change. But if Dulga was using her quirk's advantage, maybe Mina should use hers too.

"Hey, Dulga. You don't mind if I use my quirk a little, do you?"

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi made a gesture for Tomoe to be patient and pipe down, while she listened to what Asahi was saying. What caught Hitomi by surprise is that people from her old class missed her. A few of her old friends had acted rather cold towards her ever since she'd received the letter. "Of course I'll come along! I'll try and get some friends to come too! See you later, Goroshi-san!"

As he walked away, Hitomi turned to Tomoe. "Now we can go and get coffee. By the way, would you like to meet up with the Support class tonight too?"

All I'd be missing is economics with Duncan, and teaching Lumen and Trey some rituals. I actually vote to skip

Personality

Rags does not had a good grasp on the language, or talking as a concept. Despite this, she is very intelligent. She may have feral tendencies such as hissing and growling when feeling threatened (like bath time), and several habits from living in the wild, but behind all that, she's no different than any other girl her age. Sweet and caring, and likes to laugh.

Background

Rags' parents were an impoverished couple living on the mainland. Her father was a farmer and her mother a cook, to a very cruel and rich baron. They fell in love and frequently met in secret. She got pregnant, but the Baron didn't discover until after the child was born, with the help of the other maids. The Baron was furious, and wished the child's death, so the mother fled with baby in her arms, into the mountains. After days of fleeing, the mother got herself lost. She tried to survive in this unfamiliar environment and her child, intelligent and eager to learn, watched her mother and took in every lesson.

One winter, when Rags was three, her mother couldn't find shelter, so sheltered Rags with her own body for the night. In the process, she caught hypothermia and never truly recovered. She died weeks later, leaving Rags all alone in the mountains. The toddler, however, had been taught enough to survive where other children would certainly have died in the same situation. And she had a new teacher in the form of the other animals she shared the mountain with. She grew feral, forgot how to speak over time, and thrives for many years, until one year ago. She was found, naked and aggressively guarding a semi-eaten eagle carcass, by Delvers who were taking a shortcut through a valley to get from the town they had been trading at, back to the port town that would ferry them to the island of the Abyss. About a week later, they presented the Orphanage with a girl dressed haphazardly in rags. The apprentice whistles playing in the garden stopped to examing their strange visitor, and she looked with equal fascination at her new home.

Talents
Rags' life has given her excellent survival instincts. She is a skilled and intelligent hunter, and is also adept at climbing with her bare hands and feet. She is as fearless as any animal when it comes to performing dangerous feats out of necessity.

Kasuke Mina

Mina knew that Dulga had the advantage on the ground. But Dulga had the advantage in any close combat situation. It was simple mathematics. At least on the ground, Mina could use her grappling knowledge against Dulga, who had no formal grappling training that Mina knew of. While Dulga was grabbing Mina in multiple places at once, Mina only had one free arm. But she only needed one. She pressed it against Dulga's neck in a way that didn't restrict her air flow, yet pressure was still being applied. If Dulga knew any MMA theory, she'd know that Mina was attempting a blood choke. However, Mina's eyes were tearing up and she was gritting her teeth. Dulga's hold on her weakened neck was putting strain on her too.

In her still not fully recovered state, Mina relented before Dulga passed out, removing the blood choke and reaching up to try to free Dulga's powerful hands from her neck. All the while, the pain in her face was becoming more pronounced.

Mako Akane

That comment actually game Mako pause, and her smile disappeared as she put her hand to her chin and her forehead wrinkled. "That's actually a good point. I didn't think about that. Guess you aren't coming after all." Then her smile gave a re-emergence and she shrugged. "Oh, well. Looks like your detentions will be serving a double purpose. Though I do wonder why you want to be a Hero so much. You're not the typical wannabe Hero type."

After a few seconds of silence. "Oh, well. I'm sure you'll open up eventually. For now, I'll get out of your hair and let you work." With one last sly grin, a cock of her head, and a quiet chuckle, she walked away and left him alone.
