My Very Brief Bio

Male, 33 years old. (I'm even more dead than before.)

Likes (other than writing and roleplaying): I'm into all genres of music. I love to cook. I love the outdoors, and walking through the park near my house. (Yes, really.) I read a lot of thriller/mystery novels. And I usually watch seasonal anime. (Or cooking shows. Because Western Media provides even fewer things that are worth watching.)

But as for my many other neglected hobbies, I've played basically every sport. (Soccer and Bowling being my favorite of the bunch.) And I'm trying to play more video games. (Going through my never-ending Steam library.) Plus, I've dabbled in making electronic & metal music, and I used to play a number of instruments. (Guitar, French Horn, etc.)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Before getting any further, the necklace started emitting a pale green light, drawing raised eyebrows from Bastian. It was quiet. Too quiet. Not a sound could be heard. Not a scent could be smelled. Feeling betrayed by his own senses. “That’s never happened before…” Bastian thought, nearly muttering it aloud. Allowing both the pleasure of staring at dull and decrepit gray walls and the many steps beneath. Bastian’s ears twitched, noticing a small rock resting upon the adjoining step. Blinking and lifting his foot slightly into the air, casually kicking the rock, watching it tumbling down the stairs noiselessly. Bastian promptly slammed his foot into the wall beside him, again hearing nothing. He shifted Elizabeth's position slightly, grip remaining firm, keeping her close.

“Could you hear that Elizabeth?” Bastian asked curiously, promptly returning to walk casually down the steps. Like madness, the further their descent, the atmosphere grew colder and darker, giving them chills down their spines. Carefully carrying her one step at a time, which he would’ve eventually lost count, even if he had been keeping track. Until-there wasn’t anymore steps, his feet finally met soft dirt, opening up into a wider tunnel. The tunnels were illuminated with torches hanging against the walls, showing that was a large barricaded metal gate entrance only a couple meters away from them. However, someone was even closer than that. Wearing black robes obscuring their presence and leaning against the wall, dwelling there long enough for the small dagger held between their bare toes to create the shape of an intricate skull into the dirt. Suddenly moving enough to show her face, long red hair flowing out of her hood and covering the left side of her face, along with a sharp grin.

“Ya heer fa tha wagan and whoresis?” She spoke in hardly understandable dialectic, like they were hardly literate or were used to speaking an entirely different language.

“I’ll assume she’s asking about the horses and wagon…” Bastian thought giving her a nod in response. She let out a sudden cackle, before walking off.

“Falla me.” She called out. Bastian reluctantly started following behind the peculiar woman, as they approached the gate.
@KatherinWinter I've put pointing out particular typo's by the wayside, because I usually get the intended point and figure you'll go through it eventually and fix them if you find them. I'll only point them out in future, if I don't get the intention. Hopefully that's okay and beneficial to us both?

"She swallowed nervously when Bastian chose to Dad and them."

What was that sentence supposed to be? (Dead end? Defend? Assuming maybe it was done through text to speech or something.)

I'm starting on my reply, just as I type this, so you should be able to read that by the end of tonight. ^-^

@Grim Seriously, answer me this one. Why let it go when people keep doing it and never learning from their mistakes or trying to improve as people? Do I gain respect of anyone, let alone anyone worthwhile? Is anyone fooled by people that have already been punished and previously banned into which person is the offending party here?

Besides, I find it equally/ironically amusing as they probably do, for thinking getting my response at all equates to anything. Would ignoring stupidity stop it? Clearly not. And if I'm annoying them, more than they are me, even better that they get a taste of their own medicine. It's not like this thread hasn't been shit stirred by everyone else already...

Also that's still some fine double standard along with Odin's. Because this conversation was actually started by Odin, not me. Bias can't even get you to admit this is at least a two way road. But it's not just a single time mind, it's literally every interaction I've ever had or seen in months and years spanning time.

I'll admit. Maybe it's less fair to you personally, because at least you're possibly doing it from an understandable perspective. So for what it's worth I'll refrain from doing it toward you unwarranted again and apologize for that. (Though to you alone.) Everyone else apart of it is just obnoxious and not worth feigning respectable treatment.

(And yes I'm aware of the ages, I was being facetious.)

Stretching his body up and raising his weapons. Bitter resentment thrashed against wood, only attacking a fabricated opponent to release seething anger, from what he saw as sheep refusing to be slaughtered. Claws carving, digging, dragging intensely through impenetrable oak. Tirelessly performing yet leaving no impact upon the large tree. Dropping his paws to the ground, scoffing behind that tree where he was secluded.

“I’m not going to just wait around here, with these detestable souls. Who do they think I am?” Lyros growled with nobody around to hear him, his ears and tail twitched about hearing the ghostly voice. Sauntering low to the ground, getting closer to the center of the courtyard and peering at the demonic figure appearing above the fountain, before hiding himself and listening in.

Lydrim had hardly budged an inch since the figure’s arrival, retaining a distant expression. Slightly tilting his head and glancing toward the others for their reactions, only waiting for the others to fall silent, before getting quickly interrupted by Vashti still perched on his shoulder fluttering her wings.

“Those answers are fairly nebulous-” Her squawk trailed off when Lydrim exhaled and rubbed the side of his nostril, before folding his arms and leaning slightly forward. The normal length of his patience seemed to be draining like a turned over and cracked hourglass.

“How exactly do I benefit becoming a Sage, subsequently associating myself with everyone here? Or-perhaps the better question, is how are you benefiting from an outcast, slave or anyone else here?” Lydrim questioned, his calm voice was antithetical to his presumptions. Before briefly shutting his eyes and stepping away from the fountain in the direction Lyros had stormed off. “Frankly, I’m getting sick of the smell coming from the flowers. I’m afraid we’ve both made a mistake. Mine was coming here.” His tone closely reflected his cold shoulder, looking around to find the direction of his wolf, noticing Lyros approaching him instead.

“I don’t want to leave until they answer your question.” Lyros stated, walking up to Lydrim. Lydrim slightly smiled, before turning to face the rest of the group. Lyros stared forward, not reacting to Vashti’s quick descent, landing on his head.
link me the post and allow me to prove otherwise

also, i know my sentence was incorrect, the difference is i dont complain about people not spellchecking

Link me the post and allow me to prove otherwise.

Also, I know my sentence was incorrect, the difference is I don't complain about people not spellchecking.

-D (See teacher.)

How about being less lazy?

You literally just did. Also, further proving me correct. (You also can't be selectively sarcastic, without just looking stupid. The 'not using any punctuation' is consistent sure, but you aren't being consistent in screwing up capitalization or using abbreviation apostrophes correctly. So while acting like an idiot will amuse other idiots. It doesn't make you look like you're intelligent enough to properly satire someone purposefully screwing up. (And you just look like you're screwing up...)

Edit: I'm also not responding to whatever few shitty sentences, that make you sound like you're a 14 year old girl using an old phone without a keyboard, in response to me. (Damn, I called that.)
@Odin Except my post had no spelling errors and your very posts criticizing me had plenty of errors. (and the idea anyone has never messed up in their writing before, is pants on head retarded.) Stop being so full of it and yourself.

it's because your posts are all riddled with grammatical and spelling errors where as theirs aren't

inb4 'i don't care this isn't the ic'

You also didn't make that sentence correct either, so learn to write before telling me I can't. Thanks.
@Odin Just making sure before I wasted my time, reeling in the bait.

Gee. Wonder why of all people. You'd say such a defensive thing in the first place...

Yeah, let's stop being so disingenuous shall we?

My post you cried about said...

Spellcheck your work.

Then you said...

You really gonna put forward this argument again and am I really gonna have to point out your hypocrisy again?

And just many comments later or before...

Spellcheck is literally a matter of looking at the red squiggly lines that pop up when using a remotely competent browser.

I find it more annoying when people don't spellcheck.

Yes, I accept typing on a phone almost universally erodes post quality for a myriad of reasons, but if you are still incapable of spelling every few words correctly and always getting a character's name wrong in it, you are either doing it on purpose to spite the other members or you just do not care.

You'd be surprised how many I could find making the same statements in my posts that were said in others or your very own, without you (or anyone else) being a complete shithead in response to them. (or anything else I said that you cried about, for that matter. :D)
does it look fucking absurd or do you think it looks fucking absurd? i've never seen anyone make the same point either and the fact that you consider there to be an opposition infers that there are 'sides' to this story when there clearly are not

Do you even have the slightest clue of what the statement referred to? If you don't, you wasted my time and yours writing that.

Edit: Phone's autocorrect. The bane of writers everywhere.
<Snipped quote by Silver Carrot>

Putting a warning at the start of your post that your bitch is a problem with yourself doesn't make you exempt from criticism.

But it does look fucking absurd, when it only selectively happens when dozens upon dozens make the same point, without a peep from any opposition. Even worse when the ones pretending to care enough that they have an issue, complain about the exact same things. (and honestly, the thread isn't for, bitching out certain individuals, or to snidely yell at others frustrations.) Not saying you're doing so in this case, just for clarity sake.

@Silver Carrot

Though in your particular case, everyone you responded to didn't make it a personal attack (or even a criticism) against you directly. (I guess unless you include the last sentence from @Stormfly which is a fairly tame statement. That could be encouragement, depending on tone.) @Stormfly just disagreed, and said it would be beneficial to catch up and that it's important to read. As did @Inkarnate. You shared your personal thoughts, but so did they. It wouldn't have mattered if that was a general statement or a personal one. They both just have a more strict opinion when it comes to reading the entire section/thread.

And though I understand your struggle, I also agree that reading everything (should) be important for someone that is participating in the roleplay in almost every circumstance. If it's too much and you still feel like joining more RP's, start some 1x1's or something. (I hope you feel like my response also isn't an attack.) :3
