Just found out my left kidney wasn't done and decided I needed to deal with a second stone before I even passed the first one.

Kidney stone blocking the ureter...yay...thankfully only 4mm so it don't need surgery, just some meds. But that pain I felt is certainly not an ideal way to wake up.

Major Lynette

@Raven_Operative
Lynette listened to the driver as he told her of the failure. She'd understand Lukas's anger if it had only remained that. He should have stopped the tank when the noises happened and reported it. But she sighed when he finished. "Next time, do report this. This tank isn't like the standard tanks you are used to driving. Her engine isn't the standard, its custom. And the problem with custom engines is that they need to be tested over and over again. So when they make noises that don't sound right, it means just that. Something isn't right." She took a step back. "Remember that next time."

Lynette turned to Lukas. "First off. Are you calmed down?" She waited for his response.

Sergeant Celeste Stichler

@Raven_Operative
Celeste just blankly stared at a tree while the CO of the imperial squad was brought up to her. Lost in thought, worried about how many would die under her. Sure everyone in the squad was smart enough not to get themselves killed. Or at least she hoped no one was that dumb. She was concerned with her ability to command. Because if anyone died, it would be her fault. I'm not cut for this. I'm just some idiot with bad luck. Celeste actually felt the desire to break down and cry. It didn't matter to her now. Let them see me cry. Let them know I'm not cut for this. That I never wanted this.

But her worry, and self berating were cut short by the sounds of people approaching. Celeste quickly collected herself and turned to the Imp Sergeant. Who had said the first words, though his words didn't make her feel any better. And his gesture felt more of an insult than a compliment. Though she still took the sheath, with intents on sending it to Harald. "I cannot accept the compliment, as I have only just stepped up into the commanding position." She looked him in the eyes. "I'm still only a Corporal, even though the rest of the squad wants to call me Sergeant. I haven't proven myself for anything, and have given orders a store manager could give with ease. But, I will make sure this does get to the Sergeant who did defeat you, along with the blade that belongs in it."

But she decided to test something. To see if someone could see how unfit she was for this. Sure this Imp didn't know her outside of being an enemy. But it doesn't take personal knowledge on someone to see what she knew. "You look seasoned. You have to have seen at least two dozen battles." She took a step towards him. "So I'd like to know your thoughts on me. Because your facial expressions changed when you saw me." Celeste wanted some outside confirmation.
@SleepingSilence
Ok

And where the self-centered thing came from was I had gotten into a political argument with someone. And they had said something similar to what you had said. Though they were using it as an attack on the Independent party. So I wasn't sure if you were doing the same.
@Vilageidiotx
Though the party system could be argued to literally be a cancer destroying politics. And labels aren't always going to mean all individuals under that banner are the same. But I don't think the opposite ever means that they know any more...usually it means they don't follow politics so they simply are ignorant to it's effects to the world and their every day life. Basically what I'm saying, call yourself a democrat or conservative. You at least know what you are in general. (though you could argue people DON'T even know that. And you'd be right.) But my main point is, being politically active and voting and being under a political label is still more legit than being proud of your eye color. Or you being 1/16 wiccan. When you likely know absolutely nothing of that culture or have ever been there or experience any of it. (I am sort of a hypocrite in that regard, as I say I'm Irish/Polish and never actually been there either.) But I say it non-seriously, some people take their culture they know very little of, a little too seriously. imo. :/

Are you stating that Independents are ignorant, stupid, and/or self-centered? That they have no interest in politics and only care for themselves?
No one says you have to write twelve paragraphs to get a good point across

I know several teachers who would like to disagree.

I'll start working on a post soon.
My post ain't much, and probably doesn't look the best. But I didn't want to stay out anymore since I pushed past my case of writers block.
Valeryia Ilyushin

Dammit! I was just starting to relax! She exclaimed mentally. Craig had just been shot in front of everyone. Was a damn shocker for everyone. And the acting squad lead was already giving orders. At least she's on point. Though Valeryia wasn't the biggest fan of the order she had been given. Defend the second story, by herself. This wouldn't be a problem if she had knowledge on how to handle something bigger than a sub-machine gun. A partner would've helped too. But she didn't argue. In a moment like this, arguing would be pointless, and probably get more people killed.

She quickly ran over to the opened case that the others were either eyeballing, or nearly drooling into and grabbed a familiar weapon. A P-90. Her usual weapon of choice when being a hired driver. Along with snatching some magazines for it. No telling how many bots would come up her way. She just hoped it wouldn't be all of them.

After she did a few quick checks of the gun, Valeryia ran to her objective. It seemed she'd be doing a bit of a patrol of the second floor. Though it would look out of place, someone patrolling while the sounds of a firefight went on nearby. But nothing would distract her from a thought that entered her mind. I hope nothing happens to my baby. Valeryia seemingly more concerned with her car than the lives of the others.

Gods no
@Zarkun
Seems like a wasteful use of a Katana.

Also, I'm dealing with a sinus headache. So no posting can get done.
