I am a 26 years old woman from Belgium, Europe. You can always send me a message to chat or about a roleplay. Even though I can be pretty busy at times, I always inform my partners when I lost interest or when I want to stop a roleplay for a different reason. This means that if I haven't replied to a roleplay yet, I didn't have time yet. I didn't ghost you. Since I regularly check the site on my phone, my replies OOC would be fairly fast (if you keep my timezone in mind).
I can play as both male and female characters with a preference towards FxM and MxM pairings. Additionally, I can play multiple characters at the same time. I prefer to double (as in both playing a male and a female character), but this is absolutely not a requirement. I absolutely love romance in roleplays, but I tend to not include smut as it easily takes over the plot and that is quite boring to say the least.
I prefer my roleplays to be situated in either modern times or the future, since I am not interested in researching a time period in order to write about it in the roleplay. Also, I mostly use fictional locations. The reason for this is that I haven't been outside of Europe (except for two vacations in Egypt when I was a child that I hardly remember) and I am not willing to do a lot of research those countries in order to write about them in the roleplay.
Romance, drama, horror/thriller and slice of life are the genres that I have the most experience with, since there is a lot of describing the situation and a lot of dialogue. I have the least experience with fighting scenes, so please don't judge my fighting scenes as I am trying and learning. Since I mentioned horror/thriller, let me tell you that I have absolutely no limits with dark themes. If you have any, tell me BEFORE we make our characters. Do not be angry at me if you didn't even tell me about the topics that are sensitive for you and I happen to use them unknowingly. If you tell me about sensitive topics, I will ALWAYS avoid using them, no matter what they are.
I can work with long, short and no character sheets. My preference goes towards sharing a picture, name and age before starting the roleplay. I am most comfortable with using anime pictures, but I can also use pictures of real people if it's my partner's preference.
If you aren't sure that our writing styles are compatible, please ask me for a writing sample beforehand. Don't ghost me or reject me right after I wrote an intro post to our roleplay. That's just a huge waste of time for both of us. Of course if you find out during the roleplay that it's not for you anyways, you can always tell me (please do instead of ghosting).
Topics that I am ALWAYS willing to write about: - the Fairy Tail universe - Demons and/or angels coming to Earth - the Apocalypse concept - the Big Brother concept - a Jumanji inspired story (either old or reboot) - an adult version of Miraculous or Precure
She tried to concentrate on following the conversation between the people she had just met. Thinking how she would like to participate in the conversation, but not knowing how she should do it, she stayed silent. Then when she heard Ivy mentioning what we would do that day, she thought back to the happy days with her and her brother. With a quiet voice, growing more and more louder with each word, she said: "What do you think we are going to do today? It makes me think back to the days my brother and I played the cat and mouse game almost every day with the other kids in the neighbourhood on the streets.""Did I say something weird? They didn't ask about something from my childhood..." she thought to herself.
@King Cosmos About the first comment: I had in mind that the three groups would all do missions and the like as in the EAT class split into three groups. The dividing would be based on the abilities.
Your idea sounds very good to me! I like it a lot!
I get what you mean. There might indeed be a bad balance between weapons and meisters if everyone just does one of them. The idea of everyone having one character for both sounds better if no one pairs up with their own character as that misses the bond between the meister and the weapon in my opinion, but maybe other people think differently about that. If there are enough people that can double, then we can make that a rule.
With your idea, people can make their own villain that is a part of the organisation.
@Reflection with vague ideas I mean like a characteristic (example: energetic), it's more like I have three groups in mind for the students in the academy: the first above all consists of the most powerful student pairs of weapon-meister, then you have the second group that has gained already some kind of power and bond with their partner and last you have the newbies.
One by one the pairs of the most powerful group are disappearing. There are rumours that they are on an important, secret mission, rumours that they are kidnapper and so on. After some time, the students from the second group are also disappearing one pair by one.
One month later the newbies get an explanation. The fact is that a big threat exists somewhere far away. A lot of powerful pairs were send there, but they didn't survive, didn't send an answer back, just didn't come back or asked for more help.
The newbies get three days of preparation before they have to leave too, but they are not alone: some pairs of the second group have yet to leave (the amount of pairs from the second group can be discussed, in my mind it's only one, but it depends on the amount of newbies), but this time they are going together.
They travel from city to city to stop the small threats, get information and to rest. Their destination is a big field where the monster is supposed to be hiding. This is what I had in mind, what do you think?
@Spriggs27 If you would like to know: I already have a storyline in mind, I just waited with posting it to know if someone has an idea or character that can inspire something to add
In the storyline I have in mind are already vague characters dividend, if everyone thinks it easier then I can post the storyline and everyone choose a character in the story to build their character
@Spriggs27 I didn't put up the rules, because I expect that people already know them as everyone writes up the same ones. I didn't write out a story yet as I wanted to discuss with everyone what they think would fit into the world of Soul Ester, what kind of story. If no one has suggestions, but some have already made a character, then I can think of a story around the characters they want to make. I don't want to make a premade story and half of the people become uninterested. It's not like I won't make a storyline, I just waited with it, so I can make suggestions of a storyline after people put up what they think or a character or something so everyone is satisfied with the storyline.
@percius388 I think it's what you prefer actually, if you prefer posting longer or more frequent then it's the easiest way to be both weapon and meister, but if you prefer the bond between the meister and the weapon I think it's better to be one of them I myself am bad at writing battle scènes and like how two characters bond, so I prefer being only the weapon ;)
