I'll be going on a two week vacation starting tomorrow and don't know how often I'll have Internet access. Thank you for your patience. I'll try to be more regular when I get back.

Let me know if my description about the fast-travel and collecting mail are erroneous and factually incorrect.

Ochre's proximity helped Tessa to calm down a bit. Yet as Rael and Graves, and even Redsky spoke up, Tessa's mind started going a hundred miles per minute as her clumsy thoughts tripped over themselves. If anything, she much preferred the other option Graves had put out; to entrench themselves here, fortify up, and wait for a solution.

"Alright everybody. Back in formation, we're moving. Orchid!" Graves shot a serious look at the man. "You and 2Chainz watch our midsection. Keep your eyes peeled for any ambushes from above or below, got it this time?"

"WAIT!..." Tessa said louder, and with more assertiveness than she expected, "This is suicide. We should stay here, by this gate. At least we'll have our backs to the wall. We can create a chokepoint and wait for the GM's to get their shit together. Sure, they can't log us out right now, but surely they'll think of other solutions to get us all to the safety of the town. Like, they could send us all teleport scrolls or something. It might be coming in a few minutes..." This last part she said with very little confidence. Pariah was a game that went for immersion, so quick-travel options were little to none. And one did not simply access their mail from a menu, needing instead to physically go to an in-game posthouse to collect things such as log-in rewards or special event items. yet surely these services were implemented, just never used. Surely the GMs would be willing to break the rules of immersion to provide them with just such a solution to get out of danger. After all, the GM announcer had broken character pretty hard. She could feel her mana slowly draining as she maintained her defensive auras. She was nowhere near having spent even an tenth of her mana, yet she was fingering a mana potion apprehensively, prepared to chug it down before she hit empty. Her eyes darted around at the other party members looking for validation. She also looked for signs of hostility, in case anyone decided to go ape-shit on them. In fact, she was certain she could see some signs...
I'd like to get a post up before the party officially moves. Please give me a bit.

Rael thinks Elian is the weakest link, but I've got the chains to prove otherwise...

"It's fine," Catherine said, smiling sympathetically, "We're both ladies here." Catherine made to go in for a hug, hoping that Kanako would accept. Catherine wondered if she had been cruel to not point it out earlier, or for using it as a way to test Kanako's ability to remain calm. Taking off her jacket, Catherine offered it to Kanako, "Here, you can wrap this around your hips to cover yourself."

I should really do a post as a nurse or something to come get Felix off the floor..

Is there anything else I'm supposed to be doing. Besides plotting the time-skip to about.. maybe like a month? two? Let everyone start getting used to their elements

I think ShiZhen might need a response from Kano.

ShiZhen would get so nervous and flustered during sex ed that she'd drown everyone in moisture.
Yuan cleared his thoughts so he could respond. "Forgive me for staring but, from the moment I saw the young lady it was unmistakable that she has received the blessings of the gods. It is my first time witnessing an aura as pure as yours but for you to appear here surely must be a sign of great importance?" Yuan tried his best not to cower as his senses tingled from the aura, but his training kept his will firm.

Lexus Dominiel

"...gods...?!" Lexus Dominiel asked with notable disdain in its voice. However, remembering it's directive to remain discrete, Lexus Dominiel did not pursue the subject. "Yes, well...I am Lexus Dominiel, and this is Akena. Her arrival does in fact signal the portent of something great. She is the harbinger of enlightenment and salvation. Divinity as you have never known walks among you. But before I speak more, I wish to learn of your teachings, for Akena has seen holiness within you. Tell me of your...gods...as well as the gods of others." Lexus Dominiel loomed in towards Yuan oppressively. Though its physical form was much smaller due to the illusion, the dominating presence of the Angel of Weights was not so easily hidden. Hopefully, Lexus Dominiel could learn about this world, since to talk about religion was to talk about the people who practiced it, as well the institutions that they had erected. Tribes, nations, wars, art, and society revolved around religions.
Hey all, sorry for the delay. Catching up with stuff after a two-week absence took longer than I thought. But I'm back.

Real life...SUCKS.

Being unable to reverse your decisions...SUCKS.

Dying...SUCKS.

Eileen played games more to escape than to have fun. In the past, when she had stuck to console games, she was a regular save-scummer. She needed to be in control. She needed everything to go her way in the most optimal manner. In a way, she's grown away from that, after all, you couldn't exactly hit the reset button in an MMO. But one thing that she never did was play in any "Nightmare" or "Hardcore" mode, never anything where permadeath was a thing. The thought of all her time and effort going to waste because of one, tiny mistake was unthinkable. So maybe the truth of the GM's announcement hadn't fully sunk in yet; Eileen didn't truly feel 'threatened' or that her actual life was in mortal danger, but the thought of losing everything she had worked so hard to achieve, prompted her to preemptively down a mana potion and send out her chains again, activating them for their area of effect spells. She wasn't going to let an ambush get the better of her. And although she did this mainly to protect herself, any party members inside the area were equally as protected. She watched in anticipation as Landon attempted to blast a hole in the door barring their retreat from the dungeon. Eileen kept her mind on the spell that made her other spells discriminate between friend and foe, ready to drop the enchantment should anyone in this party suddenly wish to experiment with player-killing AKA murder. She also kept a close 'eye' on her remaining mana, which was draining at a slow pace as long as she kept up her spells, although instead of a bar, how much remaining mana she had was more of a 'sensation'.

"Ochre?" she said calmly, surprising even herself, "Come here." She didn't know why, but she would feel safer if the people she was familiar with were closer.
