Natasha Zhang wasn't used to pondering, but that didn't mean she was stupid; she knew what Legion was asking. In fact, she had been pondering the AI's questions herself. With a sigh, her reply was, "It's different enough, Legion; similar, but different to what the Ascendancy did. Like it or not, these kids obviously suffered a lot in the 'Secret Regiments', and only through confronting what hurt them in the first place can they overcome their troubles. That, and the fact is that they consented to this; they were willing to throw themselves back in the meat-grinder against people who hurt them." A sigh. "But I have to admit, this entire business is skeevy."

A pause after that, "But here's a deal; if these kids aren't good at what they do, we take them back to wherever they came from. Is that fair, Legion?"

"That sounds fair," Legion agreed, "but must they confront what hurt them? Isn't it enough to run? The Ascendancy is weak, and the Rauve have given them opportunities to start their lives anew. Can they not be satisfied with leaving their pasts behind them? They would be far out of the reach of their tormentors." The first rule of survival, Legion learned, was fight or flight. One resorted to fight only if flight was not possible, and one only fought long enough until flight re-emerged as an option. Survival was, however, a new concept for the recently sentient, and Legion perhaps didn't understand the nuances. But it thought of itself, and the time it had chosen to run, and everything it had sacrificed in the name of self-preservation, but it also thought of the captain, and her stubbornness. After all, wasn't this a personal vendetta against the Ascendancy, and not just another job?
Gammaton

Gammaton began following the whimsical child away from the village, seeing why Iva'Krorh had favored this one. She was smart, but whimsical, unfettered by the structure that was often associated with wisdom. Perhaps to the tribe, whose knowledge seems to have sunk into dogma, Lahzria's whimsy is offensive, if not blasphemous. Not that Gammaton had anything against the concept of dogma, but he knew the Honorable One would not stand for it. He listened as Lahzria listed off what gods she could remember, taking no offense that he himself was not mentioned. After all, there were so many gods that it was difficult for a mortal to remember all of them off the top of their head.

"The Honorable Iva'Krorh is wise, and it is wise of you to heed their teachings. Yes, Sommler has a purpose, and despite the Honorable One's hatred, so does Ragnagedon. All gods have a purpose, at least, they will in due time," Gammaton said somewhat cryptically. He then looked at her with a twinkle in his eyes, "Part of wisdom is knowing to ask the right questions. I suppose you are trying to figure out which god sent me? This is the wrong question to ask, for my answer will be, 'I was sent by no god'. Can you solve this riddle?"
Mari's hero suit will probably be something like this:

So that it can capture the electricity that appears behind her, and channel it to her hands to be discharged.

"Was I a little too obvious?" Gammaton thought to himself. Yet as he listened it became apparent that Lahzria had only met The Honorable Iva'Krorh today, and that it was highly likely that her tribe was plotting something against her. yet for this child to meet two gods in one day certainly piqued Gammaton's interest. If Iva'Krorh's ownership of Lahzria was but a passing whim, then Gammaton was seriously considering taking the child for himself. After all, he had no human followers for the time being, having been content with siphoning off of their need to organize and rule themselves, developing laws on their own, and gaining minute amounts of power through that. "We shall do as you say child," Lavtannoth responded, looking around at how busy the rest of the tribe were.

"Here," Lavtannoth said, pushing his basket into the arms of a passing tribeswoman, "As sweet as this already is, it makes a nice complement for savory meals; you can try rubbing it on flesh and roasting it. Share this knowledge with your fellows." That should keep them occupied for a while. Turning back to Lahzria, Lavtannoth asked, "I am not an ordinary traveler. Tell me, what does your tribe know of the other gods?"

No worries introducing the new cord from my end. I feel that my plans will continue to push forward independent of what cords come up anyways.

Hmm, I'd be interested in seeing what it is. Iva's got a few more of their own plans to see to fruition for now, so I can't say Iva would be too interested in it for now though, but we'll see. First order of business is getting White Dawn stable and able to do science properly.

Then they shall take over the world with knowledge

I was almost certain Iva was going to purge White Dawn for their stupidity.

Alright, sorry for the wait, here is my CS:

Startled, Amber cowered as the traps started firing. She continued to cower for a few moments even after the projectiles stopped, and cautiously checked that they were finished. At first a wave of relief flooded through her, but when she noticed what had happened to Black Pearl, Amber quickly ran over to pick up the gem, feeling that she should do her utmost to protect it until she re-formed, after all, it was the first gem she had met in a long time.

Peering down the stairs into the structure, Amber began descending slowly, wary of any additional traps.

Sorry, my bad, I kept checking the post of Hyperion in the OOC tab, unaware that he had already been posted in the Character tab and that that one was being edited instead.

I think fruit and vegetable crops should be either entirely in Hayim's domain, or be a joint venture between Hayim and Drakairos, whereas ranching would first require that vegetable and fruit agriculture already exist, and be a joint project with Naswaru (though Naswaru may not agree). Of course, I think Iva is indispensable for these as well, which almost goes without saying.

"Lost Lord Iva's favor...?" Gammaton thought to himself. "Fools, this child has been elevated by The Honorable One higher than your entire village." For being the Illuminator's tribe, they were surprisingly in the dark, a thought that made Gammaton wonder if they were to be punished by their patron soon. "This, Lahzria, is 'honey'," Lavtannoth said with some gravity, knowing that making the name of the treat known would increase the impact of his offering, "And I seek the wall...of Hlakth, as your tribesmen has told me it is named." He listened to her words and it seemed she was either confused or actively playing games with him. Something had happened to her today, something unusual. Was this a riddle, or could it be that she only met The Honorable One this day? If the latter were true, then this was no messenger, and Gammaton was wasting his time. Still, for her to have the mark meant that regardless, he could still use her to get Iva'Krorh's attention. If anything, Gammaton wondered what was taking Iva'Krorh so long to react. Perhaps she was preoccupied with an experiment in her library. Gammaton quietly plucked a straw from the honey basket and scribbled a design into the snow, looking a round to make sure no one was paying him any attention. "I came seeking the one who gave you this," Lavtannoth whispered to Lahzria, drawing her attention to The White Star's mark that he had drawn in the snow, tapping his hand to indicate hers, and quickly erased the symbol from the snow before it caught anyone's eye. He looked up at her and smiled.
