honestly the nautical theme ISN'T a requirement, just a fun bonus. If you can justify why the Count of Monte Cristo is somehow related to water/boats/rivers/whatever, hell yeah!

uhhhhhhhh basically i want players to post enough so that I can make a GM post every week or every other week, if that makes sense.

like I said, I don’t have an expected post size. if getting a GM post out a week for what the PCs do means y’all gotta post some one liners, i don’t mind

essentially, posts can be somewhat low quality for the sake of posting (i value activity a LOT), and i’d like to have enough shit “happen” every two weeks or so to justify a GM post.

it’s okay to be gone for a week or two, too, your character will likely just be doing school things/on vacation cuz they rich/other jazz. just give a heads up n all that.

so uh, i guess the answer is 1-2 times every couple of weeks? but they can be shorter, lower effort posts if needed. just say “hey gonna make a small one for the sake of moving the plot” n i’ll give u the go-ahead

If you're doing dialogue, you can totally just drop a one-liner response, or maybe attach an action tag. I don't mind at all

If you haven't posted during a 1-2 week period, I'll probably just DM you and ask for a quick "hey what would ur character do" and then mention them in passing in the GM post while time/plot/convo/combat moves onward.
