Why so many 18+ marked roleplayings?

I mean I could honestly try posting interest checks in every single catagory of interest-check forums and such.

I wouldn't suggest that. If you're specifically just searching for 1x1's, then try only posting in the 1x1 section.

Some people tend to get mad if they find inappropriate checks in the wrong section.

My Chemical Romance is finally back together after six years.

It's real this time. Tickets are going on sale in three hours and 33 minutes. The event is being held in California. Tickets are $150. I hate that it's so far away and on such short notice.

My gut tells me that they're going to do more than just a once concert thing. They made a whole new Instagram account. Posted what looks like a potential new logo and everything.

I have been listening to MCR non stop, making references to their songs, sharing nothing but MCR memes on Facebook and it's basically all I can talk about.

To say I'm excited is an absolute understatement.

The happy thing is that I have found partners here already. So it's a slow start for me. I feel your pain just as I do.

@NesyExecutive As someone who joined the forum right after I turned 14, I feel your pain.

I was used to forummotion and proboards sites, which from my experience were set up for writing pretty much only 1x1's.

I'm not sure if you've tried writing your own interest check, but I would recommended that as well as the earlier recommendations of checking out the group RP's.

While the majority of the forum does appear to be adults, there are quite a few underage people as well. And no, not everyone is looking for smut. Some people just aren't comfy writing with someone so young - which is neither parties fault.

The reason I'm recommending group RP's so much is because that's where I got my start. You have a really new account. Not many people know you yet. We don't know you personally, your writing style, your characters... nothing. Groups are a nice place to try and make a name for yourself. After you've done a group or two and people can look at your profile and see what sort of writer you are for themselves, this may help you get a few partners.

If I microwave something and there's still time left on the clock thing, I have to clear off the time. Otherwise it'll bug the living crap out of me and be all I can think about until I'm able to clear it off or someone microwaves something else.

Why so many 18+ marked roleplayings?

I'm trying to search for a roleplay partner, everything seems marked in 18+. I'm just 14! This causes me to make my own RP-intrest check and that's not marked 18+ either.

Oh well, does anybody have an answer to why there are so much mature+ themes?

Most people on the Guild use 18+ for smut, gore, and 'dark' themes. Of course some of these are on a case by case basis, meaning what some people may find dark and twisty, others will not. Sadly, mostly anyone looks for in the 1x1 sections (from my experience) is smut. Don't know about you, but at that age, I was in no way trying to write porn. xD Regardless, it appears that most people in the 1x1 section are looking to write with partners close to their age. I know it sucks. I was there. People with 18+ tags didn't want to write with me within just weeks of my birthday - but that's understandable. I was still underage.

Regardless of the 1x1 section RPG still has a lot to offer from group RP's. From what I read in your intro, you said you can write 2-3 paragraphs, right? Maybe try poking your head around casual and see what you can find.
