MIA for another week, pharmacy once again doesn't have my meds ready and without them I can barely function so from tomorrow onwards I'm gonna be away while I try and get it sorted

Though Eelpond wasn’t so sure he believed the other tom, either, the attempt at reassurance was appreciated all the same, and he couldn’t help but perk his ears up ever so slightly and twitch his whiskers at him in thanks. “Yeah. We can only try, right?” he agreed, trying to remain optimistic. He didn’t have the heart to try and argue against Shadestar’s point, in fact if anything he needed that sort of blind optimism now more than ever, so he took it on the chin, purring softly as the other tom’s nose touched his forehead. “I will, you know that. I’m always careful. Tinypaw and I will be fine.” he closed his eyes for a brief moment, desperately wishing he could stay there with Shadestar for a little while longer, curl up beside him for a moment or two and just forget any of this bad stuff was ever happening. But he knew he couldn’t, so however reluctantly, he drew back from the dark-furred tom, pushing his head under his chin briefly in thanks before he turned back towards the den entrance. “I have to go, it’ll take us most of the day to get there and I want to leave Tinypaw enough time to not feel so rushed. We’ll be back as soon as we can.”
Not wanting to delay the trip too much longer, he leapt back down and slid across the camp to re-join his apprentice in their den once more. “Oh. Did you drag that here all by yourself?” he asked, his ears coming forward in surprise. “Nice job, Tinypaw. Let’s eat up, we’ll have to get going soon, it’s a long way to walk. We should have plenty of time to make some stops to rest if you get too tired, though.” he promised, tail swishing absently from side to side. “You’ll get used to the trip eventually and we’ll be able to cover the ground faster then, but don’t feel too bad if you need to take it slowly for now, I can keep pace with you and I won’t be angry if you ask me to wait for you for a bit. Okay?”

Spidernose perked her ears forward, waiting to see what Fernstar thought about the kittypet’s name. It was rather odd, wasn’t it, she was realising as she thought about it more. When it was mentioned that Maplestream had gone missing, the fur along the brown-and-cream she-cat’s spine rose in worry. She’d been on hunting patrol with Maplestream earlier that day. Had she not come back to camp with them? This was not good, not good at all…
As much as she wanted to help look for their lost Clanmate, however, Spidernose knew they couldn’t leave the camp undefended whilst Fernstar and Blackpelt were away at the Moonpool, so instead she dipped her head to the Clan leader and assured her. “I think it would be best if I stayed to guard the camp, we don’t want all our warriors out on patrol, do we? Just...just in case that fox comes back or brings a friend, or something. I do hope Maplestream is alright though and we can find her...”
