Where are all of the Xmen games? Deadpool just came out on video and Xmen Apocalypse is about to come out. I was expecting more hype.

@DoomFlavoredI'm just not sure what to post. Bad case of writer's block.

If I post tomorrow, it will likely be a short post.
@Reflectionyeah, the Dratini line is about it for gen 1 and 2, though the Charmander line an Gyrados could fit too.

As the premise is that the King brought together people who had worked for him, the Queen, and his council, I'm not sure how well a mercenary would work. A "Royal Dragon Knight" would fit much better thematically, as he would like to send a Royal bodyguard with his son.
@Regitnuisure. We'll put in an explainer. Maybe Kanto created a colony there and brought Pokemon with them, which became the variants?
@Regitnuicool.

I figure I'll play as Prince Teal, next in line for the throne, who was sent on this mission to prove himself both to his people and council, but to their allies, the three Legendary Lord Pokemon, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.

I'll have a Ditto servant named Peach, a Jolteon named Fugi and maybe a Ponyta named Barley.
Basic premise:

In the Pokemon world's feudal age, the nation of Johto launched an attack on the kingdom of Kanto, landing on the south shore. Normally sea invasions bring few pokemon with them, as they have to carry the food and water for those pokemon as well. This invasion seemed to bring hundreds or thousands with them, as the soldiers needed merely to throw what appeared to be an Apricorn at the ground to bring a captured pokemon into battle. The Johto soldiers quickly managed to secure a literal beachhead, and even capture a few villages.

The King sent out messengers to every village under his control, ordering the Lords that weren't in battle to assemble their armies at his Castle Town of Pewter. The messengers also delivered secret messages to certain people who had worked as agents for the King's court before (the players), ordering them to assemble in the tavern of the village of Palegh, near the enemy's captured territory, and meet his agent there.

We would have a few pokemon with us each, though pokeballs don't exist, just "Apriballs" which only Johto people have, so we have to take them with us like pets, and provide food (and maybe water) for them. Humans are generally Normal type, but we can learn pokemon moves as well. If a human can't do it in the real world, though, we may need equipment (including magical equipment) to use pokemon moves. For example, you would need a metal weapon/shield to use Steel type moves, or a fire stone to use fire moves.

I have only beaten the first and second generation games, and only their regions are involved, so only their pokemon are allowed.

I'll definitely need a Co-GM for this, as I have to many RPs going already, and need the help to keep the story going at a good pace.

(Pokemon are from "the stars" and are generally of roughly human level intelligence, but most lack much of our creativity, leading to us being better strategists and having better tech. They are called "pocket monsters" because when they first arrived they were hostile to humans. The only way we could befriend them is to carry their eggs with us, generally in pockets, and raise them among humans. Eventually they formed a peace agreement with humans around the world.

They communicate mostly through body language, with their speech only being needed for verbal cues, like tone. Anyone can learn to understand them with enough study, and they all learn human language as children.)
Stark and Tyr

As Iron Man neared the center of the Dragon's assault Jarvis spoke up. I'm picking up errant light emissions from beneath us. No thermal, radioactive, or electromagnetic signatures, though. Apparently they are using extremely advanced technology."

"Interesting," said stark, then activated his radio. "Get ready. I'm going to leave you down on the street. Someone needs to try and coordinate our attacks and keep civilians out of our way."

"That's assuming that any of these other combatants will listen to me." He said, as Stark landed on the street just long enough to let go of him, then flew off after the Dragon. "Against an opponent this large, I would suggest looking for vulnerabilities." Tyr said over the radio, cutting it off long enough to tell gawkers that if they stayed behind he wouldn't protect them. In most cases fear overtook their curiosity and they ran. The few that were to stupid to save themselves, and were unable or unwilling to fight would at least be removed from the gene pool.

"Right," said Stark, pulling up roughly beside the dragon. "Jarvis, set hand blasters to fire mode." With that, he aimed one hand at its left eye and fired.

Inuyasha

Upon approaching the building, Inuyasha was stopped by several guards carrying some sort of black weapon, judging by how they reached for them it response to his approach. He stopped before getting close enough for them to draw their weapons, and addressed them. "I need to speak with your Shogun, or one of his representatives. I am from your past, and will need the help of someone skilled in magic to return home."

One of the men muttered something about "cosplayer", tapped his ear, and began talking as if to a superior. It could be a prayer, though. Inuyasha was used to humans praying out of fear upon seeing a Yokai for the first time.

@TheFake@Crusader Lord@KoL
either's fine. This is basically supposed to happen in our world, but as long as we know what you look like, it's fine.@RumikoOhara
@Burning KittyAjax was putting on a pair of workout gloves, mostly so that he wouldn't bust his knuckles if he hit a tooth, as they rolled a young woman in. "Interesting." he said, looking her over. "Certainly has the superhero physique already." Angel smirked and Ajax motioned to her. She wrapped a belt around the bottom of the hospital gown to keep it from falling down and then unstrapped the woman and restrapped her ankles to a chain. A few pulls on the other end of the chain and the woman's head was upside down, five feet from the floor.

Ajax stretched a few times, then, with a quick sideways punch hit her in the forehead. Within a few punches he had gotten a rhythm down, always hitting somewhere on her face, even when she tried to dodge. "Oh, you're a feisty one." he said, then, continued for several more minutes, until the "patient" was too dazed to fight back. "Now, there's a good girl." he said and, as if to punctuate his sentence, let out a quick sideways punch, knocking her out.

@Dark EternityThe next woman certainly wasn't as chiseled as the first one, but they were here as test subjects, not eye candy, so that didn't matter. Besides, the customers paid for mutants, not whores, not that they didn't use them for that. Ajax had had his workout already, so he simply had them chain her hands above her head as one of the guards, who had left most of his gear outside, stepped over, then addressed the new woman. "Ricky here has issues with women. Some kind of mother issues. But you look like you can help him out with some of those issues." Ajax nodded to Ricky, and Ricky began taking out his Oedipal issues on the new woman via a series of punches reminiscent of the last Heavyweight championship.

When the two of them awoke they found themselves in a poorly lit corner of the building, the nearest patient and slightly overweight man who looked like he had gotten as much as they had, if not more. He was still unconscious, though.
@jynmi88Offline and online personalities don't really have to be anything alike, but it would make more sense if they were similar, as it would be easier to keep up appearances. If I was writing the character (but I'm not, so feel free to ignore this) I would decide what kind of videos they made on YouTube and base them off of a youtuber that did that. Maybe even combine a few.

I was thinking of making an indie developer, so maybe he could be going to the convention too.
@mattmanganonso you're the one that messed up the site?
