Wildest thing I learned was that the Mistborn series is loosely tied with the Stormlight Archive in this incredible novel universe Sanderson is making.

I think The Long Night was amazing. The Battle of Helm's Deep for GoT, and it pulled it off wonderfully.

This is a bit late, but 2019 has officially been blessed by Tom Brady. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Bio

Yo! I'm Torack, you can call me Jay!

I've been RPing for a long, long time. I blame it on my overactive imagination, but it's a wonderful medium to put all these creative ideas into some sorta use. My favourite genre is fantasy. Straight up fantasy. It can be high fantasy, low fantasy, dark, modern. I love fantasy, grew up with it. I also like sci-fi, dystopian settings, etc.. Characterization and character driven stories are my favourite type of RPs, I like seeing them grow and change and the way characters react to completely shit and horrible situations. It's always a fun time.

Personally, my hobbies include reading, although recently the only types of reading I've been doing is from text books ffs. I like sports, any type of sport really, except soccer. My legs are way too clumsy for that sport. Music is something I love, R&B mostly, although I'll listen to mostly anything.

I also love pie. Pie is life, especially pecan pie. It's damn near traumatizing knowing that I haven't eaten any in like five years. Sad times.

Ultimate One Universe: Season Two Application

Doctor Fate | Kent Nelson

Powers And Abilities:
While a capable practitioner of mystical arts himself, with the helmet, those powers become something more. He can feel when magic is being used around him, sense it's presence and can tune himself with the cosmos. Along with that are a list of powers that are only limited by his imagination, ranging from mental abilities like telepathy, hypnosis, and others to mystical powers like necromancy, divination, eldritch blast, and astral projection.

Without his helmet however, his powers are severely limited. His magical capabilities giving him telekinetic strength enough to move a car whereas with the helmet he can potentially move an entire planet. He's also invulnerable to normal and most explosive weapons and can fly and use his mystical powers to enhance his strength.

His abilities include medical knowledge, basic hand-to-hand combat, and occultism.

Origin And Backstory (In A Maximum Of Four Paragraphs):
Kent was born to the archaeologist Sven Nelson, and a medical doctor Tracy Nelson. His early childhood was uneventful, living a life that would be considered average to most, save that his parents put a heavy focus on his studies and always made sure that he was on the honour roll every week. Then there was the added sublayer of both parents subtly trying to sway the young Kent to take their individual professions, as if trying to sell them on the merits of either becoming a doctor or an archaeologist. However, because his father often had to go overseas to some newly discovered dig site, his mother eventually managed to convince him to go into a medical field in his senior year of high school.

After four years, he went to Cornell Medical School where he got his medical degree and eventually specialized in cardiothoracic surgery. During those incredibly harsh years of trying to become a doctor, then becoming one and facing the rigorous internship and residency that came afterwards, he had lost most of the social graces that he had learned in high school and became somewhat awkward, sometimes even delving curiously into the occult out of curiosity. Things changed a little for him when he met Dr. Inza, one of the board members of his hospital, at a charity event. The two hit it off quickly, becoming fast friends and eventually got into a relationship with each other, the occult curiosities he had all but forgotten.

Then his father called, adamant that he fly over to Mesopotamia to help him uncover an ancient tomb that he'd discovered. Reluctantly, he booked a ticket and within a week he was deep in the desert with his father, who explained to him that many tombs like those were filled with dangerous traps and they needed a doctor around in case things went bad. Within several more hours, and after a few drawbacks, they reached the pyramid and delved deep into it, using the map that his father had acquired to traverse the maze. They eventually reached the main chamber with a large golden sarcophagus in the centre surrounded by gold coins and trinkets covered in a thick layer of dust and webs. And while his father was looking through one of the gold pieces on the floor, Kent's curiosity got the better of him and he pushed part of the sarcophagus's lid off releasing a cloud of dust.

When Kent came through he found himself in the hospital, his father next to him who gently broke the news to him that whatever toxins were in the sarcophagus were now rapidly killing him and after telling him that his mother would be visiting him in the next couple of days, he left behind a helmet that was found within sarcophagus and told him that he was sorry. Once alone, the helmet spoke to him, the eyepieces glowing with a bright light as a voice rang in his head and told him to put it on. Thinking himself crazy, he threw the helmet across the room but watched it float back to him telling him once more to put it on. Seeing no other choice, he grabbed it and placed it on his head.

What Makes This Character 'Ultimate'?:
This character is different in many ways than the original concept of Doctor Fate. For one, the poison from the sarcophagus didn't kill his father, but rather affected Kent, poisoning him with an unknown agent that is constantly threatening to kill him without his helmet. Another difference is that he's self aware when he wears the helmet, he remembers everything that he does and it's himself that controls his actions instead of Fate. And of course, he's much younger than the current Kent Nelson, being somewhere around thirty-eight.

Once again we fell for his tricks and gave him attention.

Damnit guys.

Do not feed the Sep.

I was hyping it. I feel partially responsible.

Still. It's been 24 hrs, can I post my dude in the CHAR tab?
Oh snap! It's happening!
I honestly don't know how to feel about Venom after watching it.

I was really hoping that movie would kill it. I mean, how you squander Tom Hardy like that?
Everything looks awesome... except for Mamoa. Every one of his joke lines are kinda cringey, and there's alot of that "dudebro" aspect left over from Snyder's vision.

He looks pretty dope in the suit, though. And the suit looks good. Which in itself is an achievement.

It could be that they're showing his worst one-liners in the trailer. I mean, a couple had me grinning, but I'm really hoping that that's the case you know. Showing off the iffy ones and saving the better ones for the actual movie.

Lucivar DeLuxor
Tavern in Askavi

Lucivar looked up at the barkeep and regarded him for a moment as he leaned forward, elbows resting on the surface of the table. His eyes were on the other’s and although he tried not to show it on his face, he was apprehensive about the sudden question. Who was this stranger that suddenly came asking about his business? In any other time, he would have been open to oblige, thinking of it as nothing more than an over-curious barkeep. Recent events however, and the shock that came with it, kept his guard up.

Anyone could be a spy. Anything he said could put him and Andressa in danger and it was an incredible fortune for the barkeep that Lucivar was intent on being civil. It seemed the place had gone through a rough time, and blood on the floor could mean anything. Still, he wanted to give the man the benefit of the doubt. “I’m sure you’re mistaken,” he said, “I said no such thing. Hard to hear from behind the bar, after all.”

The old Eyrien nodded absently in agreement thought his yellow eyes said he didn't believe the Warlord Prince. "Well I might be mistaken. Though if I were not..." He shrugged well muscled shoulders, "Don't think it's worth my skin to be pushing a Warlord Prince who looks like he's been walking the killing edge." It was common knowledge of how to notice a Warlord Prince on the killing field and Lucivar still had some of that psychic scent about him that a trained warrior would pick up. It was part of protocol that the Blood were taught throughout their childhood. The part that helped them survive. "I know a good knife, but it depends on what you want to cut and why." He noted absently, deciding to take the leap and be direct. Whatever had brought this one in, he had come with a Dena Nehele witch who was shaken up. The Saroth boys had mentioned that land in particular was perhaps the last chance for the Blood in Terreille.

He gave a curt nod, then turned back to his drink. "I'm sure you do."

Lucivar DeLuxor
Tavern in Askavi

Lucivar walked into the tavern, eyeing the blood with some suspicion. When the barkeep told him not to worry about it however, he shrugged and walked over to a fallen chair, righted it, and took a seat, leaning back as Andressa took the chair across from him.

This was not the way things was supposed to go. Somehow, while he was flying across the Ways, he had a strong feeling of deja vu but no matter how hard he tried to wrack his brain, he couldn’t recall where he remembered a flight like that. Still, it mattered little now. What life he had was now torn apart and he had to get back at the bitch who destroyed everything. Killed his Queen, and damn near killed Andressa too.

“Get me your strongest drink,” he called out to the bark keep.

After a few moments of silence he looked up to see Andressa shifting uncomfortably on her chair. “What do you plan to do now?” She asked.

A few more seconds of silence. “I honestly have no idea,” he said. “But I do know Sonya has to die. How we’re going to go about that is a different thing, however. Don’t you have any contacts that could point us in the right direction?”

“At this time, I doubt it’d be wise trying to contact them,” she said, hugging herself, “their shady at best and I have no idea if they turned or not. Any one of them could’ve told Sonya that we were looking into her. I’m sorry, Lucivar.”

“It’s fine. Let’s just take a day and sleep on it, figure something out when this shock is over with, yeah?”
Tayronus Dale
An Old Priory

Tayronus's knees ached as lay crouching near the rear of the group, his monochrome red eyes narrowing on the old priory. His heart hammering in his chest, and a small sheen of sweat beginning to form on the front of his head. As an inquisitor, he was trained to handle situations like these, in fact he was trained to handle situations of sorcerous nature which sometimes tended to be even more troublesome than the problem that currently faced them. And yet, he was still nervous. There were people inside, innocents and he didn't know what the goblins wanted with them. Ransom perhaps? It made the most sense, but who knew with those savages? Any potential mistake they made could come with a heavy cost and he didn’t want that on his conscious.

A black raven landed on his shoulder moments later. A shrill, hiss-like voice rang in his head. "I can't see much beyond those two guards out front," the raven said in Infernal.

"That’s not very good," he responded aloud in the same tongue. Tayronus then moved up, keeping himself low and stopped beside Captain Harrad, a hand going to his forehead to wipe the sweat as he reverted back to Common. “My familiar has the ability to go invisible. I can let it go inside and scout around before we do anything, give us a possible fighting chance to save these people.”
