Salem turned to look at the mage, addressing both her and lady sinnonedel together "I would ask you not to disrespect someone so blatantly." he turned back towards Varis "I agree that enthrallment would become an issue, and I feel that the council and mages could work together to create some form of safety for the new addition to the council, the mages. As for you" Salem looked pointedly at Aaron, nearly dis attached and disappointed in the boy hed met earlier, as he leaned forward"You view the mages life span as an issue, yet I view it as a boon. The fact of the matter is, while consistancy is all well and good, change is what's needed in the world in order to progress to better future. Each generation of mage will have grown in the lasts, seeing its faults and being able to attempt to work together to fix them." Salem reclined back into his chair, "But I wouldnt fully expect someone like you to understand, its is not yours, nor anyone fault, but you are not at a point in life where you can view my perspective. I know that Princess Ryners prestigious school will allow you the opportunity to see many world view points."

The Foglands are a series of Islands who's climate tends to be a tropical paradise. Just as days may turn to night so too does the weather here change from the tropic beauty to horrendous downpours with crackling lightning. The main island houses the town of Reliquia on its northern shores and is divided only by a river delta whose waters spread throughout the island and that the natives use for fishing. It is said that the main island is divided into three areas; the first is the outer rim of the island, a vast white sand beach touching elegant sea foam green waters and vibrant lush greenery, this area is known as Tutum and houses many of the herbivorous wild life. Further in you have the second area known as Caute. The lush greenery that was found in Tutum now becomes a forest though still fairly spread out and easily managed through, Caute houses the Omnivorous creatures of The Foglands. Finally there is the islands center Periculum. This area is a dense forest whose canopy yields medium amounts of lighting throughout. It is said that in some sections of Periculum one can smell the scent of death and decay and often times corpses of fell beast lie there, this is where the carnivores live.

Dungeon:
There are two dungeons located in The Foglands. One is "Hell's Lid" located on the northern most island which is also the second largest island, and the other is located on the southern most point of the main island and is Known as "Sea Glass Cove."
Hell's Lid is a massive volcanic cavern system on the island of Mons Igneus. The island's nature and seclusion has caused the monsters there to mutate from the ones found on the main island and have special properties to them. The cave system is full of areas to explore but around every corner may lurk grave danger as aggressive monsters inhabit the inside and attack all who enter.

Sea Glass Cove is an underwater system that was formed beneath the island. It is comprised entirely of sea glass and thus one can view the aquatic life in the ocean through the walls and floors of the dungeon. Though vast and breath taking this dungeon is not without its dangers and is only ventured by the bravest of warrior natives when precious stones and other items are needed.

A new area means new gathering nodes! A variety of new leathers, fish, plants, minerals, ores and more are scattered throught out the islands and can be utilized towards crafting better weapons, clothing, and jewelry.

New materials can also be used for new food recipes as well as colors and dyes for painting and clothing.
Help the locals with their missions to attain Renn, new items and weapons as well as new friends.
Brave the wilds and tame new monsters like you've never seen! Any creature here is sure to be a great new companion for trainers.

River clutched the bloodied fabric that was handed to him, waiting for the commander to finish speaking. Finally she said "and any other questions, I know I presented you with a lot of information over these past few hours,” River began to walk around the room I search of something. "Yes, only one for now. Where in blasted do you keep your bowls!" he began to move around the room, standing on chairs and stools, searching cupboards until he found something that had some form of indent and decide it was as good as any. "This will have to do. Something large enough for all of us to see. Please, remove the items from the table as I bring this all over." he placed the large looking dish onto the chair he stood on and dragged it over to the table. Climbing the chair and then placing the item on the center of the table and filling it with water, creating a shallow, still, pool of water. He took the fabric and used his magic to weave the blood out of it and drop it into the pool, the red rippled through the water and a scene began to form.

Qe look through the eyes of one of the soldiers. A mass of elves could be seen, but none were moving. Each one seemed to be stilled, eyes dancing around back and forth, filled with fear and dread. You could hear some commotion happening nearby, yet try as our eyescould, they were incapable of looking towards the beast causing the damage. All at once, a symphony of sound began to erupt as you hear threats being slashed, the gurgling of blood, and then silence, one by one. A sense of fear and aguinsh begins to fill the scene as you see a porcelain mask atop an impossible body walk before our elves eyes. His throat is slit and you hear the gurgling of blood once more as our sight begins to dim, all that remains is the flicker that is the monsters eyes, like candlelight set in front of a dark abyss, before our soldier falls and all visual is lost.

"That's our enemy it seems. Whatever that beast is...we are far from the great libraries of my kingdom, tell me, what would you say is the greatest collection of knowledge above land? I can only wish it contains the answers we seek."

(2050/3950)

River looked around nervously, he didnt want to expend so much mana this quickly. They needed it for the boss. Suddenly two familiar blues whipped past him and began to barrage the goblins before them. "Kven, Sven, we gotta stop meeting like this." he let out a slight chuckle and then a sigh of relief. Alright, time to try to fry these goblins. "Lightning Bolt!" Rivers wand crackled once more as a bolt of Lightning shot out and struck Goblin Brute 2 right in the chest. A burning hole ripped straight through the abdomen, leaving a tape just before the pixelation took place and the brute disintegrated. Hopefully the rest would fall as easily. Using his enhanced speed, River blasted Brutes 1,3,4,5 with a Plasma burst dealing low amounts of damage and hoping to finish off in a high note. He arc'd his wand once more and used Chain Lightning, dealing double damage to the brutes but still not enough to finish them off.
"This...may be a problem. Ubi, go for brute one! Pepper, Spray them down!"

”Your discussion suggested a mage's opinion should count for more in their treatment. How much weight should a mage's opinion have in your opinion?”

Salem didnt even pause to think of his answer, no, he knew exactly how much weight he believed a mage's opinion should have. "I believe they should have equal amount your majesty. That is to say, I feel that among the current council, there should be an equal number of mages present to have equal say in the matters discussed. I do not doubt the councils decisions, but I feel it rather odd to have a council of non mages weighing in on mage matters, thus a council of both mages and vampires should be created to better discuss these ideas." Salem went to go grab his drink but was unfortunately too late and it was removed and replaced with the next course. A bit upset that he hadn't the chance to try it, but that was the least of his worries.

Salem went to turn to Aaron but found himself unable to. He began to feel a sort of hand, creep around his neck from behind him, and grab hold of his chin. The spectre was cold and hard against Salems smooth face, holding his gaze forward until a new feeling began to wash over him.

It felt as though he was back at the Orientaion room, seeing Aaron and Lilie for the first time...but not the first time. Salem was filled with joy as he watched his meeting with them again from the outside. His body slowly began to creep closer and closer until he was looking through his own eyes again, Aaron and Lilie slowly sliding away as the room darkened and an under lighting lit their faces. Their voices could be heard from the distance saying

”What a loser, why does he think he can come and speak to us?”
”I dont know. I have an idea, let's just say we'll meet back up with him and leave him when our matches finish. We'll never have to see that pathetic face again.”

Salem got closer and closer until the two turned to face him, faces under lit and grins of treachery across their faces as they spoke in unison

“Wait Right here ok? We'll come back, promise.”
“Wait Right here ok? We'll come back, promise.”

They're maniacal laughter could be heard as they slowly faded away and the sounds of their laughter were replaced with his father's stern, but loud, voice.

"Those people down there, they only use you, your kindness. Instead you're out there gallivanting in the slums letting them abuse you and your talents..”

As his father spoke he began to grow taller and taller until he was looking over Salem, casting a dark shadows across him. The shadow grew and grew as the voice became more thunderous, fading into the background as rain began to deluge on top his clinics tent. Loud drops of rain banging against the tarp as Salem desperately worked to heal a patient on the table. The sounds began to meld together, turning into a rhythmic beep on a monitor. The only sound pounding in Salems ears. A flat line. The patient was lost and anguish filled him like the sea consuming a capsized ship. His stare was blank as he looked on ahead and attempted to close his eyes and look away from the body.

There it was again, that cold hand, gripping at his chin, forcing him to relive his past and look head on. A warmth began to hot his skin, welcoming, beautiful warmth. Salem blinked a few times, adjusting his eyes as he saw fields of flowers, a bright blue sky, tall green trees and his boyfriend Troy. His eyes were lavender, against his fair skin and tuft of raven black hair. Troy's smile was as warm as the suns embrace and everything seemed perfect. The flowers in the distance began to wilt and rot, sweeping ever nearer towards the pair until everything was decayed around them. Troy's voice could be heard from behind Salem, distorted, the scent of a crackling fire emanating from him.

”What's the matter Salem?” Salemn turned to face Troy, who was now engulfed in flames, face rotting off, the scent of a campfire and rotted flowers permeating the air. Salem began to slowly move further back, away from Troy until he hit a wooden wall.

He slid down the wall slowly, shaking, muttering like a fool, as his eyes were peeled open and the sounds of his family could be heard outside arguing, as the scene became his room.

”The poor boys been drugged! Who knows how long that weasels been tainting his mind!” “His mind wouldnt be so easily tainted if he wasnt so weak!” ” When I get my hands on the Blossoms! I'll-” ” Now all of you stop it. This isnt going to help him. He needs us right now.” “What he needs is discipline!”

All the while Salem had fully fallen to the floor, the cold hard wood pressed against his skin, soothing the burning feeling on his biceps from his nails digging into his skin. He shivered, mouth muttering uncontrollably, his stare fixated on the light from under the door as his family's shadows danced around and argued.

The door slowly opened, light pouring in, blinding him as he felt a cool, wet, towel pressed against his forehead. Was she always so tall? His face now nuzzled a pillow as he ran a fever, a large snake coiled against his chest, the smooth, chill, scales helping to cool him down. ” Now now child, you'll be alright. I've got you.” Salems bed seemed larger somehow, he moved his hand to place it on the snake and noticed it was the hand of a child. His as a child. His eyes wearily looked around the room and noticed the ingredients for an anti venom. That's right...he was invited to play at a competitors house while they were entertained as guests. The fever must've made him forget...the tea...they poisoned him, his mother, to take done her empire. He reached out once more to touch his grandmother, but when he did she shattered.

” That was an antique! Do you know how hard it is to acquire those!” The shattered pieces were on the floor, his father screaming at him as he banged his cane against the ground. A burning mark on his back quickly stung to remind him it was there. A welt from the cane. ” You do NOT run in this house hold you understand?! What a pathetic child. Cant follow the simplest of directions! Clean this mess.” Young Salem began to cry as his shoulder stung with every sweep of the broom, picking the shattered glass and placing into the dustpan. He moved to dump it into a wooden box for repairs, as the pieces fell, his eyes became transfixed, the box now vertical as the pieces formed back into his grandmother, the wooden lid closing. ” Dont go! Dont leave me!” he yelled through thick tears. The cries fell on deaf ears as the lid finally closed, a loud thud resonating throughout the room as the box shifted further and further out of reach. The room stretched and warbled as the sound resonated and was finally collapsed under the sound of his head hitting the back of the wooden chair. His foot stung as though someones sharp heel stomped on it. He turned to face the source of the pain and noticed Princess Ryner next to him, he was at dinner again, and no one seemed the wiser of the turmoil within.

Everything seemed to be happening so fast around him, Max barely had time to process it all, barely. He quickly grabbed his cane with his right hand and reached out and grabbed James hand with his left, pulling him up with him as he stood. "Looks like we have to go, C'mon. Sunshine let's get a move on." Max looked at the comic he was skimming before as well as a Dungeons and Dragons book on the shelf, if he was going to be on the run he may as well add theft to the list. He quickly snagged the two books and shoved the D&D one into his messenger bag. Max began to bolt towards the door, hoping the cops from before wouldnt show up, bit making sure not to leave the two behind.

As he ran Max looked that the shopkeeper, his new allies, and then paused for a moment as he looked at the cover of the book. "Sorry about this! Aus Atnemitsev Ogniffe!" The swirls of purples, blues, and pinks began to form once more, cosmic dust fleeing the cover of the comic book and towards the shopkeep. The energy began to surround her entire head as the shape began to take form, creating an overly sized top-hat to engulf her head. "You really should be nicer to people! Sorry again!" he began to run once more towards the door, hoping this would serve as enough of a distraction to her to have her chase after them with the bat.

Very few times in Max's life did time seem to slow down to a halt, twice now it has seemed to happen this day. Once when the police walked by while he was showcasing his powers, another when he watched the lights leave Sunshines eyes as the sound of wood cracked against her skull, causing her to go careening into a bookshelf and then the floor. His eyes grew wide in panic as he saw the shops keep standing there, bat in hand, but relaxed when he heard her say
"I don't mind mutants, as long as ya keep to yourself and don't hurt people," Max set his cane down and quickly rushed to the aid of Sunshine. "please be alright please be alright please be alright." he looked towards the store clerk, voice shaking "I'm so sorry about her, I dont know what got into her." He sat with his legs underneath his thighs then placed Sunshines head on his lap , elevating her head as he applied pressure to the wound.

Attempting to calm down Max began to take deep breaths, slowing his heart and entering a meditative trance while he continued to aid her. "Guide me, show me a way to track mutants and their abilities. I need someone with healing factor." His mind raced through the cosmos, swirling passed stars and other heavenly bodies, searching for the answer, the spell to help him help her. But the universe does not give gifts too kindly and what he sought was not ready to be revealed. At once his attention broke and went back to the wounded girl on him and the store clerk to his side. "Please, I dont know what to do. I cant take her to a clinic and I have no money. All I have to offer is what i can conjure myself, clothing from an image i can see, any you want. Please...she needs help."
