Max waved hi to Pixie as she finally saw him, nodding to her and waiting patiently as she continued her work for a moment before fluttering down towards him. It was always amazing watching others use magic. Seeing as the beams hammered themselves into place while she made her way down. When she'd finally made it to him, he gave an appreciative whistle to her before holding one hand out palm facing up while the other passed over it. His magic began to swirl into the palm of his hand as it began to take shape and turned into a glass of Penderyn Whiskey. "You have got to teach me how to do that. Thirsty?" he asked, offering the glass towards her.

Max looked up at the structure, watching all the work that was being done. "Definitely don't know the first thing about construction. But I'm sure with a bit of direction I could just…make whatevers needed." His eyes shifted from the Akademos back towards Pixie, smiling as he remembered why he was here. "Oh, right. Um I had a few questions for you by the way. Top secret, and you're the only other magical mutant I can trust with this sort of information. So…mind helping me?" Max tried to give his best smile, mixed with a pair of gleaming eyes to hopefully help to sway her into saying yes, though he didn't see a reason for her to fully refuse.

The more that David spoke, the more questions Harry had. If the others could take over for David, what did that mean for them two? Would he be able to get back from the Astral Plane without issue? Would Harry? More questions began to race throughout his mind when David pressed his nose against his and then all those thoughts and concerns melted away. It was back to just the two of them, at that moment, as Harry couldn't help but chuckle. "Is that so? And how many other souls have you seen?" he asked teasingly. He didn't dare to pull away, though David broke off first as he tilted his head in confusion.

Harry wasn't sure exactly how to answer him. Trying to find the words but seemingly unable to. "No reasons in particular. I just…I get nervous about these sorts of things." When was it a good time to mention past relationships? The Astral Plane seemed as good a place as any, but the moment certainly didn't feel right. How could he explain the hardships Veil has had to go through? Explain how she might be apprehensive or cautious about this sort of a move? Harry always wondered if the X-Gene had some bearing on the mutant's personality. Was Valery a guarded individual because her powers allowed her to be? Or was it merely due to her circumstances with the Underground? "Val means a lot to me. But she can be a bit guarded. So I wonder what she'll think."

As the manticore went to send out another spike, Demetri felt the familiar tugging once again, his hand reflexively tightening into a firm grip as all the tendrils grew taught and pulled the beast down to its knees. The damage had been done however, the manticore having gotten a spike off. Demi heard a loud thud behind him as the projectile embedded itself into a nearby tree. He took one step, having not felt the graze on his arm yet as he snapped his finger with his free hand causing his dagger to spring to life and fly into his hand. "You asked for it." he said, his voice shaky and gravely with a roil of emotions.

Demetri flung his dagger towards the manticore's tail, focusing on trying to separate it from the beast so that it couldn't attack with it anymore. His dagger flew past, grazing the creature slightly but doing no more than that. As it went past the tail the dagger curved around and flew back into Demis hand. He silently cursed to himself at his attempted and went in for another large arcing throw. This time it hit square in the center of the tail, catching it ablaze with blue flames to burn away at it. However as his arm released the dagger, Demetri felt a sharp pain in his arm. Suddenly he was aware of the blood dripping down his arm.

He took one step forward, the world suddenly pulsing. No. His vision seemed to be playing tricks on him as his eyes went in and out of focus from the immense pain now riddling his body. Demetri glanced around, seeing the tree he'd originally been by, slowly walking towards it as blood dripped down his arm and pooled at his sweater's sleeve, dagger in hand. Once he reached the trunk he pressed his back against the tree, placing it between himself and the manticore for a bit of safety hopefully. A hot tear streamed down his cheek as he whimpered to himself. "Zeke…please…help."

Cassian kicked at the ground beneath him. Trying to think of what to do next. He walked over towards one of the archery displays, lifting his retainer bow and feeling its weight. It wasn't the kind he was used to using, but he'd left his personal one back at Dionysus Cabin so it would have to do. He notched and arrow, pulling it back to his cheek as he took aim for the center of the target. Cassin took a deep breath, held it, and released it along with the arrow. The shot flew wide, hitting above the target into the hay placed behind them to catch the arrows. He sighed to himself, grabbing another arrow as he readjusted his stance. Another breath, another shot followed by a second rapid fire shot directly behind it.

Both arrows whizzed through the air, hitting the target dead center and clustering the pair. He was about to go for another shot when Dean appeared behind him. The arrow fell out of his hand as the string panged with the empty shot. "Don't you know not to sneak up on people in the range? Well, not like these arrows do any real damage anyways." Cassian slung the quiver off his back, placing it and the bow against a nearby post. He cocked an eyebrow at what Dean was saying. Chiron wanted to see him? (And others). "What's it all about? Oh, and how'd the meeting go? Pick a liason already?" Cassian asked as he began heading back towards The Big House, gesturing for Dean to walk and talk with him.

Maddie could feel the guards still tailing them. The small hairs on the back of his neck stood on edge as the guards eyes were upon their group. He'd hardly noticed the gesture Chesire made as two of the cats currently surrounding Colby had leapt off and vanished into the crowd like smoke. They were lucky to have such stealthy creatures though Maddie wasn't quite sure what all they could do against the guards. If anything it made him feel like they were more guilty in whatever it was these guards seemed to think they were doing. Maddie held onto the strap of his bag, feeling the leather squeak under his grip as he recalled the spell he'd learned for the fireball. It wasn't the best spell to use, especially given the crowd that surrounded him, but it was what immediately came to mind even as just a distraction.

Before long had passed, the two cats re-emerged from atop the roofline, slicing away at lines that held together lattice panels. There was a crash behind him, causing Maddie to flinch his shoulders slightly as he continued to move through the crowd and then finally into the store once more. "That was crazy, and sooo cool." He turned to see everyone and then realized what Colby had just insinuated. "Oh…r-right. It's fine, we just have to find more avenues for ourselves." Maddie made his way over towards a counter, clearing a small spot as he rested Merlin's spell book onto the table and opened it.

Thumbing through the pages there was a plethora of knowledge. Each new spell accented with an illuminated letter to mark the beginning of a new idea. "Ok, we have smoke screens, fog, Short bursts of Teleportation, Colby's a bit better at this magic stuff than I am but together I think we should be fine. We just have to try and learn these spells as quickly as possible." Maddie pulled one of the three satin cords of the book and placed it between two sets of pages. One for the short bursts, the other for the smoke screen. They'd have to work together if they had any chance at countering Jafars men.

Ermes made it only a couple steps further before realizing that his new companion had stopped dead in her tracks. He lazily turned around to face her, trying to judge the tone of her voice. He blinked twice as he let the question sink in. You aren't aware of your type of magic?. She began to walk again, moving past him and leaving him stunned for just a moment. His gaze followed her until he'd turned his head and body and began to walk behind her. She seemed to be in thought, as if what he'd said was something unthinkable. But her question still ran through his mind. Somehow she knew more about his magic than he did, the idea alone bringing a bit of frown to his face as he followed behind her.

His steps were silent and light, the traces in the path hardly visible. Ermes was about to speak, asking what she meant by his type of magic, and to know what other forms there were. Did she have magic? What type was she? Questions swam around his mind, his mouth partially open to speak when finally she did instead. He slowly closed his mouth, listening intently as she explained what Genesian magic was. Apparently there were others with his type that could control objects as opposed to create them. It seemed a bit limited and frankly useless but then again it could just be because he already knew of uses for his kind.

Ermes rolled his eyes as she made notice of the wheel tracks and large footprints. Granted he hadn't thought of an orc, thought the possibility was certainly there. Of course he'd already know the other tracks were simply that of a wagons, which made him wonder just how stupid she thought he was. Then the most insulting thing she could've done happened. She bent down in front of him to match his eye level. Ermes had a very unimpressed look in his eyes as he stared straight at her with his dark and baggy eyes. "Tch. Who says I don't just reanimate the dead? It's not hard to find an animal carcass around here. Easy enough to store and carry for when it's needed. As far as i'm concerned people aren't the real monsters. There are worse things out there.``

As the stranger straightened up and began to introduce herself, Ermes began to walk again, moving past her. "That's rather a mouthful. Can I just call you Eila? E would be shorter but I doubt you'd care for that name. Oh, names Ermes I guess. Ermes De Luca. So, what form of magic do you have? Or do you just study it." As he rounded the second bend, there stood an impressively large orc. Cuts littered her arm and she seemed to be sighing in…disappointment? "Well what do you know Eil, you were right about those tracks after all." It was difficult to ascertain a tone from Ermes, as he spoke in nearly flat low tone with hardly any emotion thrust into his words save for when he pressed on keywords to accentuate what he was saying.

Ermes couldn't help but notice the woman's starring. He matched her gaze with a deadpan stare, waiting for whatever marvel she was looking at to wear off. Given the choices he figured it was either his hair, his height, or his age. All of which had been centerholds for conversations whenever he first met someone. That is if they didn't just avoid him entirely. A part of him wanted to roll his eyes at her, it wasn't her fault by any means, after all she just met him, but he'd met dozens of her before. Ermes was waiting for all the usual questions to come in, but to his surprise there were none. Or at the very least none that were common.

His eyes widened slightly as she mentioned his current state of being alone, before following up with strange statements. "Uh…" His mouth went agape trying to think of how to answer her, when she walked past him and continued on the way without him. Ermes quickly turned around, doubling his steps just to catch up with her before finally keeping pace alongside. "I didn't know that there was something out here. I woke up and the ground around me was clawed up quite deep. There was the feeling of a dreadful presence though…I don't feel it anymore. But the marks on this path are relatively fresh so I figure it's still out there. Besides, it's not like it could just vanish." He punctuated the ending with a sarcastic tone, shrugging his shoulders as if to say he had no further explanation for the events.

He continued to look at her for a moment as they walked. Clearly in thought as to something she had said. "You mentioned Genesians. What is that? And why do you study them?" Ermes asked as his deadpan expression turned into one more for curiosity. He'd heard the word before, heard it whispered around Wilree or mention of it in talks he eavesdropped on, but never learned its actual meaning. Till now, he had assumed it was some form of slur. His dark eyes fixated on the strange cloaked woman, trying to peer through the hood and see what it was she was hiding.

As Max passed by Jack, he kept the mutant in his periphery, still unsure of the trustworthiness of him. The real Jack…the old Jack, had had his mind manipulated by his father and later kidnapped Sunshine. Most likely it happened when they'd spoken back at the Cherry Bomb. Luckily they'd removed that control, now only to have them all thrown into a new dilemma. A clone made by his father. Even with a skilled telepath, they likely wouldn't detect something abnormal. Chances were that Sinister would've made a new failsafe. Something biological given his field of study and expertise. Max shifted his eyes ahead of himself, pressing forward at a faster pace as he shoved the thoughts aside and tried to focus on the task at hand, finding Pixie.

He ran through the logical locations. Deciding that the highest chance of seeing her would be at the Akademos. He kept her drink of choice in mind at the back of his head. No sense in conjuring it too early, and chances were Pixie would enjoy seeing him do his magic. She was interesting that way. He never helped but notice how her large black eyes would seemingly glance his way when casting, though she seemed more curious at the magic itself than anything. Just as he was approaching the building, Pixie flew up towards the top levels, barely missing Max and he barely missed her. Had this been a sitcom, he surely would've opened one door as she fled through another. He sighed, placing his hands on his hips as he looked around the grounds. The Akademos was huge, and the island even larger. If he kept this up it'd take all day just to find her.

So Max did what any reasonable mutant would do. Scry. Or he would, had he not wanted to seem creepy, instead he asked the nearest student by him if they'd seen Pixie and where'd she'd gone. The student replied with a bit of a chuckle, only for Max to realize why as he pointed up towards the sky. Max, hero of Genosha, student to the Sorcerer Supreme, and acquaintance of Wanda Maximoff, had somehow missed something that was directly in front of him. Or in this case something right above him. He smiled and thanked the student, before looking up and giving his best shot at a New York cab whistle to try and grab Pixies attention. "Hey! Pixie! Down here!"

Echo watched as David's hair sprung back into place. It was amazing to him how someone so powerful, with so many personalities and people inside of his own mind, could still remain so childlike. Or was it because of all these other personalities that he retained his childlike wonder? He decided not to ask. He stared at him lovingly for a moment, taking in his messy hair and goofy smile, the area around him. Most people would be intimidated, others afraid, but if anything David's powers matched Harry's ambition. He wanted to be more, to do more, and here was someone who had it all and yet still chose him.

He ran his hand through his hair, the colors rapidly shifting like kinetic sand. "Here's hoping no one's trying to talk to us then. Wouldn't want to seem rude…or wake up with a sharpie mustache." Harry said with a laugh. He thought of Sunshine pulling such a prank, Marrow only serving to encourage her. He thought about telling them the news, though Harry figured the two had most likely guessed it already. He wondered what Veil would think, would she be happy for him? Worried? There was a small knot in his stomach now. "Im…kinda nervous to tell my twin about it. Though I'm sure she'll love you just as much."

The start of the path wasn't much to look at. Sparse tracks of caravans past, a few footprints that showed regular travel from days prior. Nothing new, and certainly no sight of whatever had left its mark by him this morning. As he pressed forward however, the sluggishness of the day before had seemed to slip away. Slowly being replaced by concern and fear as a new set of footprints had emerged. Larger, sunken marks that trampled across the way and through bushes. Areas flattened down by some gargantuan beast. Suddenly Ermes was very aware of the sound of his own heartbeat. Hearing it thrum inside his ears as his steps grew slower and slower, stopping to examine new bits of wreckage. He hadn't realized how much time had passed, nor did he particularly care, but there was the sound of footprints off in the distance behind him.

Quickly his mind began to work in overdrive, trying to think of what he'd learned back at The Mist. Ermes wasn't always the best fighter, he preferred to divide his enemies attention between multiple targets. So he quietly slipped behind a tree, summoning a small skeletal cat that would last long enough to aid in battle without draining him too much. The bony structure leaped up onto his shoulder as he quietly made his way towards the sound, having it jump out first before he appeared behind his target. Ermes was ready for a tough battle, but what he saw wasn't a monster at all, and certainly didn't appear to have claws long enough to leave those gashes in the ground. His shoulders slumped as he let out a sigh before even speaking, his voice sounding more annoyed than anything.

"Hey. You might want to be careful up ahead. I think there's a large creature roaming around. Left some marks not too far from here over by where I camped last night. For a second I thought it was you having come to finish the job." Ermes let out another sigh as he walked around Eila. He snapped his fingers and his small skeletal cat came pouncing back onto his shoulder, nuzzling inside the fur collar of his coat. "You're more than welcome to stick around with me if you'd like. Seems we're headed the same direction, unless this road leads elsewhere I didn't know of. After all, if you're looking for the Bounty House then you must have some form of skill, one that would hopefully work well against whatever's terrorizing these woods." Ermes said as he pointed behind him a bit further down the road where the trampled bushes lay.

Demetri both relished and loathed the quiet of this Grove. While it was true that he couldn't be a nuisance to anyone in here, it did have the unfortunate downfall of allowing him to simmer within his own thoughts. Memories flashed inside his mind, times spent with Zeke at this location. He reached up to feel the beanie Zeke had gifted him near his birthday, his thoughts cut short as a loud banging began to resonate nearby. Demi hadn't been aware of how close to the border this grove was, but as he shifted his way around the tree he saw a large beast bashing into the camp's barrier. He flinched at the next thud, worried for a moment that the defenses would fail just in time for him to become dinner. "Can't I have one moment of privacy?"

Demetri felt something inside him tug. A marionette pulling the strings of his body as if to direct him on what to do. His eyes fixated on the Manticore, studying it, before decidedly going for the large stinger on its back. Demi lifted his hand, the shadows of the beast's tail following suit as they wrapped around the appendage and jabbed the stinger into the creature's back. If it had a poison, it didn't seem to affect it. He now stood on the thin line of anger and concern. His other hand moving as if on its own, the shadows of the manticore wriggling up and wrapping around its legs to keep it held in place. "Leave here, or my next move won't be so kind." The strings he'd felt tugging on him began to feel taught, ready to snap at a notice. Shadows creeped around him without his notice as he stared down the manticore.

Cassian cast his gaze downwards as Leda mentioned the other children of the gods. He hadn't considered how selfish it must seem to whine about not seeing your father when there were kids who weren't even claimed, others who had never met their parents, and then those who only saw them when they needed something from their children. He pursed his lips before exhaling. "I suppose you're right. I'm lucky enough that he was punished to be here, and I'm sure I'll see him soon. After all that what you big three prophecy kids are for right? To end all of this?" The gods had to stop arguing once the items were found…right?

Cassian had overheard a few campers talking about the meeting. Some saying that it was most likely going to be ending soon. He supposed that Leda had also heard, watching her as her weight shifted from one leg to the other. He was about to try and break off so that she could go when she ended up doing it herself. Cass awkwardly chuckled, giving her a half-cocked smile. "Yeah. Sounds like it should be wrapping up pretty soon. But try and make it back alive ok?"

Maddie found himself smiling more and more around this group. Despite the fits of awkwardness, and bouts of shyness that seemed to plague him around each corner, he realized he was having more fun here in Agrabah than he had in a while. There was no infighting, no yelling or arguing, just people that he would hopefully be able to call friends in the future. One of them at least was his boyfriend. "Kansas. Heh, I like that." It was a great reference, and a reminder as to where they all came from.

Maddie noticed as Colby began to pull away, Willow fell back in step, Aurora and Chesire seemed to notice a danger warning them to act normal. Maddie didn't know if anyone had ever actually benefited from that advice. Suddenly he was aware of his arms, of how they moved, and he didn't know where to place them. His steps now felt calculated as if he had to think about their placements. He tried to pull back, to shift his focus, thinking only of the awkwardness of his arms as he placed his hands into his pockets. "The weather is looking good for now, but I didn't bring anything in case it changes suddenly. How about you guys?"

Max nodded along to Veil. He figured he could find Pixie at one of her usual locations. Thinking of which place to go to first as he waited for Veil and Callie to cross through the portal he'd made before following shortly after. The portal closed behind him and he could see the afternoon rush coming in, Harry and another mutant sat eerily still at a table while Sunshine and Marrow watched from afar. The scene itself seemed a little weird but he didn't feel as if any of them were in any real danger. Max wondered if he would be able to grab two drinks to go, perhaps using it as a peace offering for the information he was about to be asking for. Pixie seemed hesitant enough talking about the gems and his soul staff, he wasn't sure how willing she'd be to talk about these matters.

Max took a step towards the bar, deciding he didn't need to push his luck and would just create the drinks when he got there. After all, Pixie tended to view him differently when he used his magic. He wasn't sure in what way that was, but he hoped it was all in good light. As he began to make his way out of the Green Lagoon, he started thinking about their destination, wondering softly out loud to himself so that Ben could hear. "I've only been to New Orleans once before. Technically it was in another reality, but I can still picture the location clearly in my mind. If it held any significance to Casper and Jack…what're the chances it'll be nearby to your resting place? Think it's worth a shot?"

As usual there was no response. Max let out a small sigh followed by a light chuckle. "Right. I'm not sure why I expected to suddenly be able to hear you. For what it's worth, I really hope that we can pull this off. Most of all for you. Even if I didn't originally believe you were real and were just a drugged up hallucination of a human man. No offense, Casper just wasn't the most…reliable source?" The air remained quiet, and even if Ben was with Max, he felt incredibly alone. Max adjusted his jacket, walking with more purpose as he began to search for Pixie.

Harry looked around, taking it all in. The Astral Plane. David said it so plainly, as if this was just another Tuesday for him. Then again, this probably was just another Tuesday for him. He'd mentioned escaping here to hide when he was younger, a place where only telepaths could hide. Harry had heard of people using escapism as a way to leave bad situations, but this took the meaning to a whole new level. What was more, Harry looked fairly different in this realm, but David seemed unchanged. Unashamedly himself. He couldn't help but crack a smile at the fact. In a place sequestered for telepaths only, where someone could be anything they wanted to be, and anywhere they wanted to be, David chose to be himself. Then again when you had so many personalities in one body, oneself was just enough.

Harry kissed David back, placing one hand over his while the other mirrors David's hand by resting above his hip. When David finally pulled away from the kiss Harry simply said "Any place is fine so long as you're there. Even with your messed up Astral hair." He said while running his fingers through his hair in an attempt to fix it a little. Harry gave David a warm smile before pulling him in for another kiss, shorter but still with passion before something sparked at the back of his head. "Wait, if we're in the Astral Plane…where are our bodies?"
