Chiron

The Obstacle Tower ~ Camp Half-Blood

Interacting with: Peter Hasselbaink (@gowia)

"Mr. Chiron, sir, I think I was told you could talk to me about... this."

“Hm..?” Furrowing his brows in slight confusion as a new voice interrupted his train of thought, Chiron let his attention wander around his person and over the campers surrounding him before eventually, he turned his body around to completely face the figure he had only seen once before, though in a picture- so it seemed as though the young Apollo boy was finally to join the camp as his father had wanted him to; however his sudden appearance, not to mention addition to the ranks was somewhat troubling given the current situation. The director and himself had only been aware of one new demigods arrival to the camp… another was more than welcome, though the very thought of what had forced the rushed choice had a saddened expression crossing over his wise features.

“Ah… young Mr. Hasselbaink- your father told us to expect you gracing us with your presence; although, I’m sorry to say that we hadn’t been expecting you so soon.” Unable to help the soft though still amused chuckle that fell out through his lips, Chiron shook his head lightly from side to side before reaching out to place a hand comfortingly upon the boy’s shoulder, his other hand gesturing out to the camp lain out before them as he turned and took a couple of steps away from the group he had been standing with, allowing them to continue on with their talks as he himself began a conversation with the new camper, “Welcome child, to Camp Half-Blood- everyone here, very much like yourself, is special in one way or another; the one common denominator being that each of you have a parent, whether it be mother or father, who happens to be either a God or Goddess.”

Letting his hand slip from where he had been resting upon Peter’s shoulder, he brought both his arms up, crossing them both over his chest as a thoughtful expression played upon his face- truly they’d had much excitement, with the prospect that the day would only grow more so, “While the majority of campers here have ties with the Greek pantheon, there are those rare few such as our other new addition whom come from the Roman pantheon- they might be a little harder to get to know… other than that, Half-Blood also plays home to many Satyrs; we have also before housed a Cyclops, though it has been quite some time since we had the pleasure of seeing Tyson.”

“Chiron..! Move those hooves, and kick up some dirt. We don’t have all day to waste with these ungrateful little pains in the ass.”

Turning his head around to look back at the camps director as he shouted at him to hurry up and get a move on, Chiron frowned heavily, his features seeming to age even further as his disapproval for the interruption was shown clear upon his face; sighing out softly in defeat, he broke his arms away from across his chest, instead using one to motion for one of the other campers to come forward, her long wavy blonde locks bouncing lightly upon her back and shoulders as she ran over to see what was up, “I apologize for the behavior of our camps director; Dionysus has been put under a lot of stress by Lord Ares… I fear your arrival has been overshadowed by that of the theft of Lady Aphrodite’s divine symbol… Nevertheless, we shall not leave you hanging high and dry.”

Unable to help the amused smile that flickered over his lips as the blonde girl finally slowed to a stop beside them both, Chiron nodded lightly before finally gesturing to her, “This is Arianna; she will be the one to show you around the camp, and to answer any questions you might have pertaining to it. I would assume that due to your little stunt this morn you have not gone to collect your refill from the infirmary Ms. Watson…”

Chuckling once again though this time at the young girl who was now doing her best to pull his attention to any other topic other than her medication, Chiron once more shook his head lightly, this time gesturing for the both of them to begin as he began to turn away and head over to where Dionysus was waiting impatiently for him, “Then I suggest it be one of the first stops in your tour- Mr. Hasselbaink, I leave you in the capable hands of Ms. Watson; and should you need anything of me, do not be afraid to come find me over at the big house.”
I can vouch for this; I received a PM asking for my permission to have a pre-established relationship between Morgana and Kay- I said that I had no issues with it and I looked forward to their interactions.

So just for everyone's piece of mind; once again I have no issues with the brother/sister type relationship between them, nor the cutesy-crush one in the past :'3
@gowia; due to real life getting a little busy for my Co-GM, I shall be writing for Chiron until his triumphant return to glory- I am currently working on a post for you honey, but unfortunately, it will not be up until tomorrow (my time). I promise I will get it up as soon as I can after work. :'3

For everyone else; in regards to the rest Griffin and Roy, to move the roleplay along, I have been given permission to NPC them both in my next Ky' vie post which I will also be working on tomorrow once I have finished work and gotten home. :'3

Thank you so much for your patience, really it means a lot; and remember, in this family and roleplay, real life comes first every time, so if you have something going on, don't be afraid to let us know :D

Thank you,
Vicier <3

The Docks ~ Shores Of Albion

The gentle rocking of the ship was of much less comfort than the sight of the land in which she now knew to be Albion upon the horizon- they had been sailing non-stop for days upon the rough waves… and truly there was not much that she was able to do while they were not stood upon dry land. Ships of any kind were certainly not her thing; never had been- her strong fear of deep water had kept her sane enough to never once make attempt to cross the oceans surrounding her homeland, and had it not been for her dear father’s orders, she would have been more than happy to keep the record from ever being broken… though she had to admit that the back and forth motions of the water hitting against the hull of the ship as they headed towards their destination was, in its own way, soothing; helping to keep her calm as she stood tall upon the deck, each moment pulling her further away from the sands in which she truly loved.

Lifting her hand up from where she had it resting upon the railing in front of her, Seppia lightly brushed some stray strands of her long dark locks back off of her face, neatly tucking them back behind her ear as she allowed her soft brown eyes to scan about the rest of the deck- she had scarcely seen any of the others during their journey, only in passing whenever they sought to ask her for guidance, or whenever they had the time to relax and converse within each other’s company… Lucanus was too busy training for the tournament with the other gladiators that had been sent with them, Laelia and Iunia were running about preparing their supplies and luggage for when the ship finally came to dock at the port, Seppius… he, as always, had locked himself away within his room threatening all and any who dare to disturb him as he went over the terms of just why it was that their father had insisted beyond a doubt that Seppia be the one to represent the Varinius name.

A soft though slightly exasperated sigh fell out through her soft pink lips as she shifted her body against the railing of the ship, her dark eyes drifting away from the faces she could see, instead turning to gaze out at the deep blue ocean that spanned out before her- it was terrifying… the thought that one wrong move could land her struggling for her life against the unknown creatures and currents that were lurking below the ship; though it truly reminded her of just how small she was compared to everything else within the world… things which she still could not even begin to fathom. Bringing her hand back around from where she had it behind her ear, she pressed the tips of her fingers into her forehead, rubbing a few circles into it before finally, she let it drop back down to rest with the other one upon the wooden beam.

What was she supposed to make of this whole trip..? Truly, she wasn’t quite sure; from what she had been told, she was traveling to represent her family, taking her father’s place and honoring the house of Varinius by allowing their best gladiators participation within the tournament being thrown by the King of Camelot himself, Uther Pendragon- from what she had heard, neither he nor his son were much at first glance; scrawny compared to the men in which she had grown up surrounded by, and handed everything upon a silver platter which only helped to feed their cocky and already rather large ego’s… nothing more than snakes in the eyes of her culture. How was she supposed to give respect to men- no, boys such as they..?

Shoving the thoughts to the side so that she was no longer allowing the two royals to cloud her mind, Seppia lifted her attention up to the sky above, her dark eyes fluttering to a close as she seemed to open herself up so that she could drink in the warmth that was the sun’s rays, the light dancing lightly over her supple flesh, hitting each and every curve of her body as she stood; her clothing of choice, while not particularly suitable for the likes of the great Camelot, leaving very little to the imagination of those with wandering eyes, while her own mind once more began to wander over thoughts about the tournament to come.

From what she could gather of the tournament of Camelot, it was held at least once a year, with the prize being that of one thousand gold pieces- more than enough for her family to buy new gladiators in which to train and fill their ludus. However, this tournament was supposedly something special; not just that of the norm, but one known as the Decennial- a tradition in which was said to be as old as Camelot itself… open to competitors from not only all corners of the world, but also born of both high and low status; it was said to filled with danger, and not something to be undertaken lightly. Frowning slightly at the thought of losing even one of her gladiators to the thrall of battle without honor, Seppia curled her fingers ever so slightly, allowing them to mould to the shape of the railing as her mind wandered back to large trunk of weaponry that had been loaded into the ship before they had left- all type of weaponry was allowed; the only true ruling being that were no rules… to say that such an event worried her would be more than an understatement.

“..domina..?”

“Hm..?” Tearing her attention away from the warmth offered to her by the sun above, Seppia slowly opened her dark eyes once again, her gaze lingering upon the familiar figure that was her body slave as she came to a stop and bowed in front of her mistress, the very sight of her trusted Laelia bringing a sweet and gentle smile to play across her soft pink lips, her body twisting slightly so that her hip was instead resting lightly against the wood as she let her full attention come to a rest upon the girl, her head shaking lightly and her hand reaching out so that the tips of her fingers gently brushed over the supple flesh of her cheek before finally, she allowed her fingers to cup her chin and lift it up so that they could look each other within the eye, “..Laelia; quid est quod dilectus meus..? Loquimini ad cor vestrum.”

“U-Uh… Apologies, domina. We have arrived within Albion; and your brother is requesting your company upon the dock. He-… he is anxious to arrive within the walls of Camelot.”

“I see… and in his steed he sends you, loyal employ, to see that such demands are met with. Were I not holding the knowledge that I am the one sent to honor the house of Varinius; I would put cheek to tongue and lay state to claim that he truly does believe himself to be the superior, and not just unwanted guest.” Unable to help the soft and bell like chuckle that fell out through her lips at the gentle blush that crept over Laelia’s cheeks, Seppia shooh her head lightly from side to side before taking a single step forward, her eyes fluttering to a close as she pressed her lips up against the girl’s in quick though still tender kiss, pulling away only when she herself had enough, “Go… seek Iunia and Lucanus; I expect to lay eye upon you again soon. I shall keep my brother awaiting my presence no longer.”

Leaning in so that she could steal yet another kiss from young woman who was no older than herself, Seppia finally pulled herself away before taking her time to wander over the deck and down the plank, her head held high within her own pride as she allowed her feet to carry her down the dock to where her brother stood waiting impatiently by the open door of a carriage; an amused smile flickering over her beautiful features as he shot her an annoyed look, his arm gesturing towards the carriage as a clear hint that he wanted her to get in- Seppius was a sweet man when he wished to be so… though it was times much like these where his childish nature seemed to overthrow all other emotions, and rational thought. Unable to help herself any longer, Seppia turned her head down and over to the side, lifting her hand up to hide her lips as she giggled sweetly at his clearly annoyed behavior as she reached out to him with the other, allowing him to help her up into the comfort of the interior of the carriage supplied by the King of Camelot to bring them directly to the castle.

“Calm yourself, Seppius… and do try to have even a little of fun- two days we shall be stuck within this… lackluster Kingdom they call Camelot, and then we shall return to the sands of Rome. I do not plan us staying any longer than we truly need to; I assure you of that…”
@Rai; I'm at work atm, will post as soon as I get the chance

@Grim327,@Classpet,@smarty0114,@Nallore,@SouffleGirl123,@NightOwl, @gowia, @Ghost Shadow...

Hey everyone..! Just letting you know that if you head across to the 'Quest List' and scroll down a little, you will now find a new section labeled 'Event List'..! This is where I will be posting up each event that comes through the camp; and before you all ask why I'm letting you all know about this right now, well, it's because there is already an event there that will be coming into play as soon as the first quest is finished with, and all campers are back at Half-Blood..!

I ask that you all have a little look at it- read it through, get excited; but more importantly... shoot me a message here in the OOC with the names of your character or characters that you want to participate..! Personally; I'd love to see them all get thrown into the game- I know that all five of my girls will be taking part. Heheh. So let me know what you think guys- and if you have any ideas for quests or events that you think will be fun; don't be afraid to shoot me a message. :D

Also, Gowia, don't worry; we haven't forgotten about you or your character, I promise- our Chiron has been a little bit busy in real life at this moment in time, and I always try to promote the ruling of "real life comes first". I thank you for being patient, and we will get you a response as soon as we can. :'3

"It is your omen; only you know of its meaning... To me, it is nothing more than another star filling the night sky."
~ Seppia Varinius.

~General Information~

Name: Seppia Varinius.
Other Names: Oracle of Capua.
Real Name (If Applicable): Seppia Varinius.
Occupation: Roman Noble.
Place Of Origin: Capua, Rome.
Age: Eighteen.
Race: Human - Oracle.
Affiliation: True Neutral (Presently).

True Neutral (Presently) -* A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn’t feel strongly one way, or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil- after all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, she’s not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. Neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion.

~Personal Information~

Personality: Looked up to and sought after by many who call Rome their homeland, Seppia is seen by all those whom know her to be a very sweet, quite charming, and an exceedingly graceful young Lady; the known Oracle of Capua is shown to be a quietly confident, kind-hearted and well-presented young woman, and is seen to be able to speak both eloquently and pleasantly with all those of whom wish to hold conversation with her, or those of whom wish to get to know her- helping her to create strong bonds with people that she truly cares about; bonds of which are almost impossible to break. Able to demonstrate both great grace and poise when handling matters of the state or potentially awkward situations, Seppia does all within her power to avoid bringing shame or dishonor to those she holds dear to her heart; the young Lady able to hold, and carry herself in a way in which she is able to hide both her nerves and uncomfortableness- especially when in difficult circumstances that may impact both her, or anyone else that she hold love and affection for.

Trying her very best, and doing all that she possibly can to make both her family and the Gods proud of her; Seppia, when not communicating with the Gods above, is more times than none seen to be within the company of her excessively protective older brother, the both of them seeming to share such a strong sibling bond with one another that it oftentimes leaves others questioning whether or not there is something more going on between the pair. Nowhere near the stereotypical quiet, retiring girl; Seppia is more often than not found out in the hustle and bustle of the marketplace with her brother and friends- or sitting up in the stands of the coliseum, seeming to lose herself to the excitement of the gladiatorial games held for the entertainment of Rome.

Showing an absolute sweet sense of sensitivity on occasion when in social situations, Seppia does all that she can to include everyone around her, trying her best to make sure that they are all at ease within the situations that may arise around them all; the young woman unafraid to show her disapproval to those who treat others unkindly, also never once laying a hand against her slaves, showing that she is not only reasonable, but also fair in her ways- the mature young Lady believing that everyone should be treated with respect, until proven otherwise, no matter what their title may be. Also known to demonstrate an intensely fierce intelligence, and a high degree of personal insight; Seppia is more than capable of using manipulation to gain what it is that she wants, and is able to recognize when another person’s opinions and thoughts are valued high above that of anyone else’s, even when the person themselves is unwilling to admit it- her own apparent wish to find someone to truly love her kept locked within her heart as she nine times out of ten, puts everyone else of whom she cares about first, and before herself.

Known on the rare occasion to show a slightly more timid and cautious side whenever her nerves seem to get the better of her, Seppia does appear to become quite frightened and upset at times, causing for her emotions to boil over and slip out from her control; leaving the young Lady quite vulnerable and finding it hard, if not almost impossible for her to express any of her true feelings to those she would normally seek out for comfort. However, an extremely resourceful and brave young woman, Seppia continuously shows that she is both quick-witted and very clever, able to gain a laugh from those she holds dear to her heart while still maintaining the warm glow that seems to surround her very being; the young Oracle’s strong sense of compassion and thoughtfulness towards others shown clear within her actions, exceptionally so when it seems that her own guilt towards a situation has taken over her mind- the jewel of Capua having appeared to grown to be both a kind and gracious young woman, making her older brother, parents, and the Gods proud of whom it is she has become.

Strengths: Seemingly blessed by the God, Apollo, at birth; Seppia is shown to be quite talented when it comes to her musical talents such as singing, and being able to play both the harp, and its much smaller counterpart, the lyre- although it has been found that she is much more confident in her skills when she is playing on her own, or while in the company on another of whom she is extremely close to; the young woman both too shy, and too embarrassed to show her musical talents to others.

Weaknesses: Although seen to be exceedingly confident, and unafraid of jumping into the middle of a tiff or argument when she feels the need to do so, Seppia both detests and does not enjoy fighting of any kind, even when it is shown to be necessary; the normally sweet and extremely kind young woman believing that it should always be considered a last resort, one only to be used when every other method and action path has been exhausted.

Brief Biography:
Not much is known publicly about Seppia's past other than the fact that she is of noble descent; however, the young woman if asked, has no issues in answering questions pertaining to the life that she has live thus far.

~Magic Information~

Magic Capabilities:
Gifted by the Gods themselves to be an Oracle since birth; Seppia has an exceedingly strong hold over the ability and power to foresee both possible and multiple futures, as well as to observe and oftentimes relay to those calling on her help what it is that is meant to happen- though as knowledge of the future invariably causes that future to change depending on those who hold it, Seppia’s visions and prophecies are also subjected to frequent shifting.

While she is unable to select certain futures, or travel throughout time, her visions may assist others in coming up with various courses of action that could either help to prevent, or to change the path in which the future is headed; and although some visions may be set in stone whether or not it is seen, others may only happen if others select a certain course of action- though this mainly depends on how decipherable, or understandable her prophecies and warnings are at the time.

Also able to sense the fate of both herself, and not only those in which she holds dear within her heart, but also those of whom cross her path; Seppia is able to see whether or not she, they, or others are on the course to be loved or hated, to be rich or poor, and even whether or not they are meant to die- her powers strong enough at times to even allow her to see whether or not a person is fated to be good, or whether they are fated to be evil.

~Weaponry Information~

Weapon/s: None.
Weapon/s Name: None.
Weapon/s Type: None.
Attributes: None.

Fighting Abilities: Although it is well known that the young woman does not know how to use weapons of any kind, Seppia is unafraid to step into a fight, or to defend those that she believes that she needs to; occasionally going so far as to use her hands to slap, or objects around her person as a replacement for weapons to defend and attack- however, she believes this to be a last resort, and does not enjoy fighting of any kind, even if it is shown to be necessary.

~Other Information~

Other: Although appearing to be both confident, and competent young Lady when it comes to things in which she has set her mind to; Seppia has a strong fear of swimming, and is quite terrified at the very thought of deep water- the young woman only ever having spent time in the water when it comes to bathing.

Every so often a victim of her own emotions whenever they seem to get the best of her, Seppia on the rare occasion is seen to act out before thinking through the situation she is in; the young woman in the past even having lashed out violently against an ex-lover of whom had scorned her by having relations with one of her families slaves.
