@Mercenary Lord; I'm writing a response, just had a hectic few days, sorry

Ky’ vie Jones

Location: The Front Gates; The Academy.
Interacting With: Kalinda Roth (@Caits), Jayla Blaze (@YoshiSkittlez), and Simon Jones.

“Here, let me help you, I can take the bags.”

Her attention drawn from the stuffed toy as the sound of a new voice hit her ears, Ky’ vie turned her head in the direction that she could hear it coming from, her bright red lips parting ever so slightly from one another in surprise as her gaze came to a stop on the sheila that was standing in front of her, offering to help her as she continued to struggle with the bags and the boy on her own- it was a nice gesture, really it was, but.-...

Standing back up straight, the toy all but forgotten in that moment, she adjusted her arms around her son, ignoring the pain that she could feel building up from the constant weight resting over them as she dwelled upon the offer, unsure whether or not she should… or even could take her up on it…

“I can take them by the straps so you don’t have to shift the boy. Oh, sorry, I’m Kalinda.”

Kalinda..? That was a nice name; maybe if she ever had a daughter… Pushing the odd stray thought from her mind, she brought her attention back to the matter she was facing, her gaze flicking down to rest over the woman’s extended hand before she smiled softly, her own hand reaching out so that she could take the toy that was being offered, “..thanks… don’t think I’d be able to reach it no matter how hard I tried…”

Her unmistakable Australian accent coming out clear as she spoke, Ky’ vie brought the toy into her body, her head turning down to watch as she once more slipped the dingo into her son’s arms, making sure that it wasn’t going to be falling again anytime soon, a gentle sigh falling out through her lips before she flicked her gaze back up to Kalinda, shooting her an apologetic look before she gave her attention back to the conversation, “..Uhh… I-I dunno, I mean-...”

Pausing a moment, she sighed., a tired and weary expression crossing over her otherwise gentle features as she nodded her head lightly up and down in response to her earlier offer, “..actually… help would be bloody awesome right now- by the way, I’m-...”

“Ky? No fucking way. Really?”

The familiar voice hitting her ears, Ky’ vie turned her head, her brows furrowing together slightly and her gaze searching until eventually, she found what she’d been looking for; the woman approaching her causing her eyes to widen in surprise. It couldn’t be… there was just no way. How long had it been since they had last seen each other..? The last time she remembered was when they had gone out on a night out on the town; hitting the clubs of Melbourne in order to send her off in the right way…

“..Jayla..?”

Her bright red lips spreading into a smile, she shifted over the spot in which she stood, her shoulder once more rolling under the weight of the bags she was carrying as she watched the woman she thought she’d never see again in a million years come close space between them,, a single hand breaking from her son to reach out towards her as she grew closer, however the moment she saw her do a double take she faltered, bringing it once more back to the snoozing child she carried.

“What in the hell are you doing her- WOA-”

Shooting a quick glance down at her Simon, she slid her hand up, using it to cradle the back of his head lovingly closer against her as she did what she could to keep him from waking from the sudden loud sounds of her friend, “Shh…”

“They giving out kids instead of pink slips now? Who’s this one belong to? He’s a bit small to race…”

“Huh..?” Seeming to miss the small jab towards their happy little escapades together, Ky’ vie took a moment before understanding dawned over her features, a soft chuckle falling out through her lips as she shook her head lightly, once more relaxing and returning her arm back to where it had been originally, “Oh, hahah. Nah mate… he ain’t a driver yet, but I dunno, he looks pretty bloody good in his little leather jacket and helmet. This is actually my son, Simon.”

Chuckling once more, she turned back towards Kalinda, her body and attitude now a lot more relaxed than before now that she knew she had at least one little bit of her past there with her for comfort, “..by the way; the name's Ky’ vie Jones. It’s nice ta meet ya, Kalinda…”
@Weird Tales; hey, hi... just your friendly Mythology buff (obsessed nerd) here.

What's my specialty you ask..? Greek Mythology..! How coincidental..!

I will say now that through all of this interaction, I have been holding myself back... I have been stopping myself all day from saying anything because I know that once I'm let loose, I won't stop. I know my shit about this topic- this is my territory; and I don't think that many people would like my rambling, but right now, I have to step in and point out the discrepancies that I have found coming out in this conversation...

First of all; let's start with the two Titans that you have chosen as parents. Κριως Κρειος (Kreios/ Crius) and Ιαπετος (Iapetos/ Iapetus). Now, out of the two that you chose- you only got one of them right when it came to their domains. While Iapetus is the Titan God of morality, Crius is actually the Titan God of constellations. So before you go ahead, you should have probably looked into that a little bit more- did you know that they're brothers..? That they have two other brothers by the names of Koios and Hyperion..? And that Iapetus is actually one of the older of the four..? They helped Kronos in his ascent, and were known to represent the four cosmic pillars. It's actually quite the fascinating myth- not my favorite if I'm being truly candid, but still rather interesting. I've actually placed it in the hider just below if you want to give it a read over.

Now, onto the next issue- fan made stories are not considered cannon... in like anything. And as such, I hate to say it, the Titans can't be used as parentage to your characters. The stories you speak of that feature these two in them are made by fans, they aren't made by the actual creators of the DC or the Marvel Universes, and as such, they are not characters that appear in them in any way, shape or form. So we cannot accept them.

You are pushing into my territory; Percy Jackson. I actually have a roleplay for these types of characters, however, even in that, as a GM I do not accept Demi-Titans as they are far too overpowered, and completely throw the balance of the roleplay out of whack.

What you have created are Gods- not children. Gods that happen to be apart of a pantheon that doesn't fit into the universes that this roleplay is centered around. This roleplay isn't based around Myth, it's based around Superheroes and Villains... please try and keep that in mind.

Naevia Udaku

Location: The Front Gates; The Academy.
Interacting With: Barca (@Caits).

..was she boring him..?

Narrowing her eyes slightly as she caught sight of his own eyes widening in what looked like a condescending manner, Naevia’s body tensed, her fingers curling within Crixus’ main causing the wild animal to stir, his growl once more filling the air as he stepped forward, baring his sharp canines in warning. Perhaps she’d been wrong in making her assumption… perhaps he wasn’t worth a shred of her time, or energy.

Her hand slipping from the warmth and softness of Kovu’s main as he turned away from the scene, she balled it into a fist down at her side, her jaw clenching as she continued to stare at the guy standing before her, barely seeming to notice nor care about the fact that Kovu (seemingly distracted by something) had begun to wander, the creature making his way through the crowd until he was completely out of sight. Not that it truly mattered much anyway… he would return; he always returned to her side. It was in his nature; something he had grown up knowing that he had to do.

When the time came that she needed him; Kovu was always there to protect her.

The snarling growing just a tad stronger as Crixus took a step between them, she turned her head up, a disgusted look flickering across her features as she returned in kind- if he was going to look down on her as if she was nothing more than a child, then she was most definitely going to do the same to him, “..unastahili kunitazama kwa namna hiyo..?”

A soft though ever threatening growl emanating, this time from her own throat, Naevia let her breath rush out quickly through her nostrils, causing them to flare just slightly with the action. How dare he...

Lifting her hand up between them, she cut him off, not bothering to listen to what he had to say as she continued to dwell on the look he had chosen to give her, “..you dare gaze upon my person as though I am some mewling cub..? Je..! Unajua ni nani unenena na kijana..!”

Adeline Wilson

Location: The Front Gates; The Academy.
Interacting With: Her driver.

It felt… strange…

Biting down softly upon her lower lip as she felt the car slowing to a stop, Adeline turned her head, her soft pink lips parting ever so slightly from one another as her attention was brought to where she could feel the door pressing against her arm, her beautiful though ever unseeing light blue eyes staring out the window and up at what she could only imagine was her actual destination. The academy… it felt strange to be here without either of her parents at her side, and she couldn’t help but to feel nervous, her stomach fluttering with butterflies.

Why couldn’t her father come with her..? Or her mother..? It hadn’t been very long since she had said her goodbye’s to them at the San Francisco airport, or at least, that’s how it felt to her anyway…

The nerves continuing to bubble away within her stomach, she turned her head down, her brows furrowing out of worry as her fingers lightly began to play with the hem of her dress, the sound of the door opening beside her causing her to jump in her seat. She had been correct; they had arrived at the academy… a new chapter in her life ready to be opened and explored; and if that was the case, then why was it that her parents had been so reluctant to accept the invitation when it had first been extended to her..?

Lifting her head up as she felt a warm touch brushing lightly against her hand, she couldn’t help but to hesitate; was this really what she wanted..?

“Miss. Wilson..? We’ve arrived at the location your parents advised me to bring you… are you sure that this is where you need to be..?”

It was a simple question… but one that, right now, was loaded. Was this where she wanted to be..? Or did she simply want to go home… be with her parents… right now, she wasn’t so sure what she wanted… The feeling of soft fur brushing up against her flesh caused her mind to come back to the present, her attention drawn to the young though energetic canine as he hurried to climb over her, quickly jumping out of the car forcing the driver to hurry after him with the leash leaving her sitting on her own.

It seemed now, she had no other choice… her dog had inadvertently made it for her.

Shifting her body slightly, Adeline reached out towards the door, her hands resting against the frame to help her out of the car and back to her feet for what was the first time in what felt like hours… first the plane, and then the car… the journey felt never ending…

“..o-oh, no… I want to be here. You brought me to the right place, please don’t worry about that…” Reaching out towards where she could hear him wrestling with her dog, she took pause, waiting until she felt him take a hold of her hand before she began to move, allowing the man to lead her up the curb and over the path, only coming to a stop once she was stood in front of the large iron fence they had pulled up in front of.

“Your parents wished me to remind you that your luggage has been sent ahead of you, and should already be waiting in your dorm room… now, is there anything else I can do for you Miss. Wilson..? I’d hate to leave you alone-...”

“It’s okay; I understand. You’re very kind, but I assure you, there is no need to worry about me sir. I do believe I’m not the only one who is meeting here this morning.” Smiling sweetly as she cut him off, she nodded her head lightly in understanding, her hand lifting up to lightly brush the small stray strands of her long bubblegum pink hair back and off her face, neatly tucking them back behind her ear- he was concerned about her… not that she could blame him; most people tended to worry about her…

“..it’s the first day of school for us; I’m just-... I’m just a little nervous, that’s all…”

Her hands curling gently to take a hold of the leash as it was handed to her, Adeline tilted her head lightly to the side as a comforting pressure was placed upon her shoulder, the excited dog moving about, making his way back and forth around her legs as he sniffed around at all the new scents.

Breaking a single hand away from the lead as she felt the weight lifted from her shoulder, she lifted it up, giving a small wave in the man’s general direction as the sound of the engine starting once more hit the air before eventually, it was gone altogether. Her smile fading somewhat, she dropped her head once more, her long and wavy pink locks falling forward and over her shoulders as she did so, the woman making giving no sign that she was going to be moving from her place anytime soon- sure, she had gotten out of the car… but she still wasn’t sure if she wanted to go in, or just go home…
@Mercenary Lord; I'll get a post done after work today
<Snipped quote by Caits>

Well, lets put it this way. She wont bring it up unless Deadpool brings it up. :P.

Its not unique to Deadpool though, lots of DC heroes do it too. Watch Batman the Brave and the Bold to know what I mean :P. DC just isn't much one for comedy hence why they only exist because Batman. Its a shame, Brave and the Bold had some GOLDEN things. Birds of Prey song anyone?

Alrighty then... so as a Co-GM, someone who (on occasion) watches that particular show when I'm home during the day (though now that's just a little harder considering I have a new job), and with the fact that I'm the one who is making the daughter of Deadpool, I feel like I should jump in here.

So just to put it out there- the Birds Of Prey song that you're on about does not actually break the forth wall in any way, shape or form. It mentions several big names of the DC Universe within the lyrics, and goes on to then roast them in ways that, while a little sexual in nature, are very humorous as you also mentioned. I do recommend to everyone that they should give it a watch, it's rather amusing; and I have linked the actual song just below this.

Now, as for the final episode of that show; while batman turns around in his final speech to speak to the children of the world, and to tell them that no matter where there is injustice, someone will always be there to protect the innocent- that is called a conclusion. Yes it is breaking the forth wall; but it is done so to instill a lesson to the children who watch the show, it is not something that is linked to the character of Batman, and not something that is liable to happen with him, or any other character aside from Deadpool in anything other than a children's cartoon. This sort of thing is also common of reality-soap opera TV shows; where the full cast comes back at the end to speak directly to the audience watching- you can see this sort of thing in shows such as Fresh Prince of Bell Air, The Nanny, Full House, etc.

It is a common way of concluding a show or episode, whether it be a comedy like Mrs Browns Boys, or something that ended on a more serious note like some episodes of the Fresh Prince.

As a collective (meaning our lovely GM and both of us Co-GM's) we have discussed it, and looked into this matter; and the only Marvel, DC and original characters we have come to an agreement upon being able to use such a power are Deadpool, Howard the Duck, and any of Deadpool's children.

Moving onto the next thing that needs to be addressed... Light.

I have, for my own piece of mind, re-read over Light's CS in the character tab so that I can once more reacquaint myself with her, and while she does come from the Void, there is no reference what so ever anywhere within her CS about the forth wall, nor being able to recognize or break it herself. What is written there in her CS is what has been accepted, and is what is expected from the GM and Co-GM's; that cannot be changed- something like being able to recognize and break the forth wall is considered to be a power, and therefore much too big to just be slipped in now in order to add to her. As far as we are concerned, and as far as what is stated in her CS, Light would be just as confused as everyone else about her antics; or, if you wish to go another route, perhaps even curious about the girl and her strange behavior when I do bring her in.
Yeah
hey @Mercenary Lord; I was wondering if you might be able to shoot up a response for Raymond- reading over the posts again, I think he needs to react to what he's being told, and I kinda think that if I do it, it might not have the same impact on him as might be needed o:

also, please let me know if what I wrote made any sense at all, cause even in my head it sounded strange as I was typing it for some reason, I dunno, maybe I really am just that tired... @-@

Ky’ vie Jones

Location: The Front Gates; The Academy.
Interacting With: Her son, Simon Jones.

Things were never going to be the same…

A soft sigh falling out through her bright red lips, Ky’ vie leant into the window, shooting a quick glance in the direction that they were headed. A cab… they were headed to their brand new future together in a cab… but then, that was what happened when you had no choice but to uproot your life, and move to another country in order to attend a school for the ‘supernaturally gifted’, or at least, that’s what it said on the invitation that she had received…

Worry flickering across her gentle features, she tore her gaze away from the scenery passing by the window- she’d never been to the states before… already it made her feel homesick. She missed her friends- her home. Everything in her life had been perfect… but she needed this- no, they needed this. This opportunity at a better life was more than anything she could have asked for… and it was giving her the chance to provide something better than she ever had for her son… for the one true love of her life… It didn’t matter what it was; she would do anything just to see him happy… to see him smile…

Turning her head, she shot a glance over at her precious little boy- Simon… he was her everything; the reason she worked so hard; the reason she had accepted the invitation to go to the academy… he was the reason she did anything; including getting up in the morning.

Reaching a hand out, she ran her fingers gently through his hair, a loving smile playing over her lips before she leant in, pressing a soft kiss against his forehead before she slipped her free hand into the duffle bag she had brought with them, fumbling around for but a few moments before she pulled out his favorite stuffed toy, holding the dingo out for him to take, “..we’re almost there, sweetheart…”

“Tanku mamma.”

Yawning, Simon stretched out his little chubby arms to take the stuffed toy from her and hugged it tightly to his chest, his chin every so often nuzzling the worn-down fur on the top of it’s head. He fussed a little, though it was more out of tiredness than anything else and his head ended up snuggling into her side, the stuffed dingo squished between the two of them.

“Iwa ice cream…” he managed to whimper out, trying to fight sleep.

A gentle chuckle falling from her lips, Ky’ vie shifted ever slightly over the seat, her body twisting as she reached down, scooping him up into her arms as best as she could before she cradled him in her lap, holding him close against her chest as she watched him try his best to not go back to sleep, “..maybe later, bubby…”

Lifting her hand up, she once more ran her fingers back through his hair, her head tilting lightly to the side before she returned her arm back to its place, cradling him lovingly against her body as only a mother would… as only a mother ever could. Her own mother had left her high and dry; dumping her on the doorstep of her grandparents before taking off without so much as even a letter to explain why she chose to do what she did… there was no way in hell she was ever going to be like that woman.

“..first we need to get settled into our new home remember, and then we might be able to take a walk and find you some ice-cream, okay..?”

Nestled contently in his mother’s arms, Simon made slight, tired noises of protest for not getting the ice cream any sooner, but the moment his head rested down and onto her chest, his breathing became heavy as sleep finally won out in the end and took the small boy back into dreamland.

Her arms tightening ever so slightly around the boy’s small figure, Ky’ vie pulled him just that little bit closer against her body, making no move to let go, even as the cab pulled up in front of the academy gates. An arm breaking away from Simon, she slipped her hand back down into her bag, fumbling around for a few moments before she found what she was looking for, the young woman quickly working to pull a few notes out of her purse and hand them to the driver before she put her purse away once more, this time reaching out to open the door.

More than one bag, and a sleeping child in her arms..? This was going to be a challenge…

Cradling the back of her son’s head, she climbed out of the backseat, taking a moment to stretch her legs before she turned back to the still open door, the young woman being careful not to wake the snoozing boy as she reached back into the cab, awkwardly grabbing first her duffle bag, then her son’s bag before reaching back in to grab her other bag, throwing them all over the one shoulder with a wince before she shut the door behind her, quickly shooting a glance down at Simon to make sure that he was still nestled contently within her arms before she turned her attention back up to the academy.

To say the least, this was possibly one of the most daunting things she had ever done in her life… this was either going to make her, or break her; and in turn, it was going to determine the outcome of her son’s future…

“..well… this is it, Simon… the first day of our new lives…”

Rolling her shoulder a couple of times under the weight of the bags she was carrying, Ky began forward, her dark eyes flicking up to the gate before she passed under it, her lips parting slightly and a soft though frustrated groan passing through them as she caught a familiar flash of orange falling from her arms, causing her to come to a stop as she glanced down at the dingo laying on the path, her arm once more breaking away from her son, and her body twisting at an odd angle as she tried to pick it up without disturbing him, her voice soft as she muttered to herself.

“..ah, bloody hell…”
