Wizard Mafia (Harry Potter Organized Crime RP)

"Shh...Oto, you're going to give yourself away," Aurelia whispered to what appeared to be herself in the train car of the subway that ran underneath New York City. All she wanted to do was to locate the possible sightings of a phoenix nest after she finished her last scare job, however, she was called to meet up with Bobby Zucco at one of the speakeasies the Serpeverde Family owned. Auri clutched her warn dark leather pack on her lap as she rode to the next stop. She exited with the mass of people traveling to destinations of their own.

With her pack's loops secured over her shoulders, Aurelia walked up the steps from underground as her scaley patterned scarf hissed softly. She gently patted said scarf nonchalantly as if she were adjusting it while walking down the street. Auri walked to Hell's Kitchen, her gaze cast around carefully before stepping through the archway. Stepping out on the other side, Aurelia smiled softly at the bouncer poking his gaze through the hole in the wall, she flashed the hidden Serpervede Crest underneath her 'scarf' and the man allowed her in.

Aurelia walked through the crowd, her eyes taking in the various faces. She gently tapped the scarf causing it to swell and come to life. An infant horned serpent cast rested along her neck and shoulders. The serpent was practically the length of Auri herself, only with the creature contently wrapped around her upper body. His head turned and observed the environment as well before nuzzling against Auri's right cheek. She smiled softly and padded the top of the serpent's head as she reached where Bobby and the two others were seated.

"Apologises for being late, the subway was packed full of Non-majs today," Auri explained as she sat down in the empty chair.

I’m sorry everyone but due recent events I have decided to drop this RP. I am super sad to see this end but I learned some things aren’t what they seem and it has ruined this RP for me. It was my first comeback into a GM role since the crash of the original RPG site.

I’m sorry for the slow progression and everything but it is time to let go.

Annalise smiled with relief with tears watering up in her hazel eyes. She felt Nova's chilly touch on her face, which was welcome over not having Nova alive at all. "I'm okay, you were out cold in the water. I think the portal dropped you into a deeper length. You must have swallowed some water upon impact," Anna concluded as she followed Nova's gaze to the environment she ported them to. The sand was interesting, something that only dark matter could form in...situations. Such knowledge made Anna tilt her head as she scooped up sand and let it funnel out the bottom of her fist.

Annalise was brought back to focus when Nova asked her question. She blushed softly and smiled sheepishly. "Thanks, Nova, but I was only doing what you would do," she admitted as she had sworn to herself long ago that she would never leave anyone behind again after escaping the Hivemind Facility.

The young lady stood up with her guardian, secretly afraid that said guardian might be a bit dizzy from the episode in the water. That was when Anna really began to look at things. Suddenly, the water turned dark crimson as drums were beaten loudly. Her gaze locked with Nova's as dread filled her being while a platform rose. She nodded in agreement with Nova's warning of caution while she took her own axe in her hands.

Seeing the man on the slab, Annalise winced as flashbacks flickered through her mind. Instead of stone, she saw metal. Instead of a dagger, she saw a scalpel. Anna tightened her grip on her axe as her gaze glanced at the man's appearance. He seemed to be in pain, disheveled, and coughing up...Anna lowered her axe to her side upon seeing the familiar color of fluids.

After Nova warned her again and quickly took the dagger, Anna used her free hand to touch Nova's hip. "Nova, I-I think I know what is happening to him," she confessed as she did another look around and gave her a worried expression. "I also don't think this is real real, ya know? It-it's like we're in a twisted VR game. Why would the water suddenly change? Why would the drum, which there is no one around, suddenly play?" Annalise suggested as she bit her bottom lip softly.

"It's like the situation experiments that I was forced to be in before I escaped," Anna explained as she flicked her worried gaze at her guardian and then the man. She set down her bag and pulled out a water and protein bar. Annalise unwrapped the bar and cracked open the water. She smiled softly at the young man while she handed the bar's wrapper and lid to Nova.

"This might be awkward to eat, but I think you need it. You need energy to heal and...and you won't be able to get out of here with us if you're weak and dehydrated. Please, don't bite me," Anna explained as she sighed softly and showed the young man her sparkling hands. "I think I'm kinda like you," she added while she lowered the protein bar to the young man's mouth. If he ate the bar, she then poured some water carefully into his mouth upon him opening his jaw.

If Nova looked at the ingredients of the protein bar she would see that it was made with dehydrated meat, basically a jerky bar with bovine muscle meat, organ meat, and...blood. Anna unknowingly gave a 'blood' sacrifice.

Biography:

Aurelia was born into the Serpeverde Crime Family, however, her mother had little knowledge of her father's true identity until after she was born. Her father, Viktor, isn't a direct relation, however, his grandfather joined the crime family back in the early 1900s earning loyalty and prestige in the family. Her mother upon learning who she was engaged to, fled with her daughter back to her homeland of France. Being a descendant of the creators of the prominent French wizarding school, Auri's mother had great protection for a while until her father came back for her.

Aurelia was only five when her father returned with her to America, her mother nowhere in sight. She attended Ilvermony when she was old enough. Auri excelled in dealing with charms, and magical creatures. She also was rather proficient in potions and lost languages. After graduating from Ilvermony with top marks, she returned to the only ever place she knew of, the Serpeverde Family. She was tasked with small scare jobs, using the magical creatures she had tamed to put fear into the family's enemies and a few of the family members as well. With her deep connections with the creatures it was no secret that without Aurelia, the Serpeverde Family would have little control over them.

Now, Auri was assigned to a small crew led by Bobby Zucco. A name she had heard through the family grapevine but had never formally met until recently.
