Tia looked at Miles as if he were a martian. "Seriously? Ok, I'll try not to get shot by snipers while doing my job because it might cause you to react badly. Here's a better idea. Since I can't control the snipers how about you control yourself!" Frustrated Tia looks at Miles. "I don't have time to babysit anyone." Tia was extremely frustrated and she froze everything for a two mile radius. "OMG this is an impossible situation started by the one person who is completely absent."

She took a deep breath as Omega's transmission came through with a lot of static. She had to admit, if only to herself that he wasn't that bad if you got past the arrogance. She smiled at his statement about letting them take him instead. "No, I won't let them do that. You can come home now. It's all or nothing. We call their bluff and we all fight or we die, together. Either way the public will know and it puts us in the clear on who is at fault. We can't give in or they will take us one at a time til there is no one left. I'm not letting that happen." She unfroze everything and signalled for the media to broadcast her across the nation.

"My name is Inertia. I am the head of the Department of the Superhumans also known simply as the Agency. I received this title when Wicked Flame died a month ago. I have been running the Conspiracy HQ since it's reintroduction quite some time ago. My jump in rank causes a position to need filling. I have chosen not one person alone but two to co partner the team. Both of these people are more than capable. We were recently attacked and some highly expensive and important research was stolen. Today we got it back. Today one of our teammates was kidnapped by our very own government. Two of our teammates fouled that attempt before it's completion. We have only defended ourselves. We did not take life that was avoidable and we don't want to."

"Although we do not want to fight the government. We can not allow our teammates to be captured and used for whatever purposes the government deems necessary or profitable. We have acted only in Self Defense and we will continue to do so. If the government declares war on us we will fight back and there will be many casualties. We ask you, the public to allow us to do our jobs and protect you as only we can. Thank you. "

Inertia stepped back when they were done and waited.

"Omega"

"Sol... how bad is it?" Omega said as he floated in the Stratosphere. What he had done was extremely against his contract with Conspiracy. Disobeying orders, and ignoring the rules of engagement that he had agreed upon. "Damn it."

"The HQ is surrounded by the United States Army. Weapons are ready to engage on the opposing side."

"Ok, what about the media?"

"Also present. Footage of your self defense is repeatedly shown."

"Self defense?! More like plain old offense. I wrecked them. You think I can take them on again?" Omega asked as he looked down at the Earth. "Has the president made a statement?"

"Negative. The Army is equipped with... anti-meta munitions. The president has not made a statement as of yet on whether this action has been approved by Congress." Sol explained. Omega groaned before trying comms again.

"Omega to HQ, see if you can make a bargain. They can take me instead. I won't fight. Until then, I'm not coming down from my really high perch... unless I get hungry or something." Omega said.

Nikki pulled up to the next stop it was a pharmacy that was closed 3 days a week. It was more for specialty stuff, compounding meds and so their stock was a little different. Nikki had worked here one summer. "Stay here. I'll be right back." Nikki went inside and saw the owner, Mr. Martin. He was shuffling back and forth and came towards her to bite her. She stuck a knife into his ear and said. "I'm sorry sir." She laid him down and closed his eyes.

She walked into the back and grabbed one of the handheld shopping baskets. She grabbed all the pills he had and shoved them into the bag. She also looked to see what he had been making and scooped those up too. Three baskets plus another one of OTC stuff and baby oragel. She took all of the oragel he had in the store. She usually carried some on her. It was good for ant bites and bee stings too.

After she got all of that she was certain that the library or the internet could help them figure out what that stuff did. She checked one other place and grabbed the boxes of epi pens. Nikki took her loot out to the car and put it in the back of the car and got in. She sighed and sat there for a minute. She looked at James in the seat next to her and said. "It's different when you knew them."

She exhaled and turned the car on. They headed back to the school. The guys at the gate let them in and Nikki pulled up close to the doors and all of the stuff was brought into the main hall. All of the baby stuff was taken to Kat's room and that included the case of oragel. She figured that should make Grace a bit happier. Food went to the kitchen and the meds went to the nurse's office and Nikki locked it up. The OTC stuff was left out so people could get to it.

Finally Nikki went to her designated room and took her folded it over to make a pillow. Her sword stayed right next to her as did her gun. She laid down on the mat and closed her eyes. Her ears however listened to every sound. Her mind was too tired to think. She had closed her door. She had smiled when she saw that Jenna had gotten hold of one of the larger label makers and made a name sticker and stuck it on her door. Nikki rolled over and fell into a light sleep.

"No Miles we can't do that yet. There might be another possible way to handle the basics. First off it would be nice if I could get my TK guy back here. I'm really re-thinking about my decision on this. I have another in mind if I can't get him .... Shiver? I have assigned you as co-leader in charge of the HQ. I was raised up to Leader of the Agency when Wicked died. She set it up that way a long time ago. Bell has been keeping me up on stuff up there and why I took my sudden vacation that I never got to finish.
"Who is the other co-leader?" Shiver asked hoping it would be Enyo. "If he ever shows up, it's Omega." Shiver gave her an odd look and said "Seriously? You hate him." "No I don't really like him but I can see his qualities as a leader and you can help each other." Shiver murmured, "yeah or kill each other."
