Just as fair warning, if you decide to go for a weak monster-type character, like say a Kobold or Goblin or something else like that, expect the world to be very, very mean to you. Especially humans and human settlements.

Constructs like golems or automatons are a no-go though. Unless it's somehting like, a person's soul got trapped/bound to it. But even then I'm not sure about the idea.

A not so evil villainess? What, like Naga from Slayers? xD

A beast tamer/beastmaster could certainly work though. Provided they tame beast-like monsters and not things like, say, ogres or giants or vampires and such. ^^

@OwO

Yoooouuuuuuuuuuuu................!
No, they are not.
The level system exists in Oubliette Online and is a way for us to measure the general strength of a person or creature.
Legendary Creatures are counted to be around level 100~120, they're extremely rare and few, and are typically of a more monstrous nature as opposed to humanoid. I'm sure there are humanoids who have reached these levels as well, but they're probably even more rare than the monsters that do.

Level 90~ is considered to be equal to something on the scale of causing widespread calamity. Ancient Dragons or other very powerful beings like liches or something similar to that would be around this level.

Levels 75~85 would be considered Heroic-tier. This is a level that few reach, but is still attainable, though it requires a lot of hard work, dedication, willpower and a bit of luck.

Levels 65~70 would be equal to something like a nation's greatest martial general/warrior or court magician or other influential and powerful person.

Level 60~ is comparable to something like the Royal Guard or Elite Soldiers, or high-ranking adventurers.

After which the impressiveness falls off about every 5 or 10 levels. With conscripted, untrained soldiers being around level 5 and run-of-the-mill warriors being around level 6~15.

Of course, all this is subject to change and discussion, in case anyone has opinions or ideas on the matter.
@The Irish Tree
That mofo got served.

We can always use a cleric though. They're so useful when you want to, y'nkow, not die horribly. :)

@Indra
Shield Hero is greatness.
You're more than welcome to make a Chain-using Paladin. Sounds kewl beans.
We are lacking:

- A higher level Ranged physical fighter
- A higher-level dedicated Healer
- A higher-level Damage-over-Time character
- A higher-level specialist mage
- A higher-level dedicated assassin

I'm sure there are other roles missing, but these are the ones I can think up off the top of my head.
Everyone thinks that 1 post a week is a reasonable thing to ask of RPers.

Then it's one hour before the deadline and no one has posted.

And it's tentative cause it depends on who else expresses interest and what characters are madeeee.

If you're so busy that you can't post once a week, I suggest you pick up collaborative writing using Google Docs or something instead. That way, you won't force other people to wait for your busy ass to participate.

And if nobody posts, that just means you'll have a lot of open slots for new people to join. :3

Welp, I guess that's a fair stance to take. Personally, the MC I've had in mind so far is going to be a barbarian-type character using a sword-and-board type fighting style. I originally intended to make a spellcaster, but that's been done to death and felt (more) cliché .

EDIT:

Oh, but obviously they won't use an actual sword.
Hmm... A wererat, huh? I suppose that could work, but you'd still need an actuall class or job. I mean, lycanthropy is typically a disease or curse or somehting you're afflicted with and that causes you to change into a partial beast-form, not something you actively seek out to become. Unless you're a shapeshifting druid or something, in which case, I suppose that answers that.

But yes. You don't need any real knowledge about isekai shows/manga to play along, mechanics and details will all be further explained in the official OOC (if we get enough interestees).

Just be careful not to overcommit. Running your own RP is a lot of work after all. :o
Why you gotta show up and be all tentative about my RPs, Rode? Why yu do dis?
@Inkarnate
Awww... But I wanted Ashara and Aurora to be best tail-sisters. :<
Well, I hope you find something that does keep your interest, and if you ever want to come back, I'm sure we'll welcome you back with open arms. For now though, farewell and good fortune to you!
